Christians, another respectfully asked question...?

He was talking about the Holy Spirit. Jesus meant, that if He stayed and didn't sacrifice Himself that we might be saved, we wouldn't be able to be filled and guided by the Holy Spirit. Jesus even says that the Holy Spirit is better for us, as a teacher and guide, because the Holy Spirit can teach us on such a unique personal and spiritual level.

And the Holy Spirit was there. Jesus was one with the Father, and one with the Holy Spirit. They are the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.

Even though Muhammad prayed and fasted, Jesus and Muhammad were quite different. Jesus was the Messiah and Son of God, who lived a perfect life and died for our sins. Muhammed was a teacher who started Islam. Muhammad claimed that the angel Michael talked to him, but Michael was an Archangel, a warrior, not a messenger.

No. HE is NOT speaking of MUHAMMAD. Your statement is FALSE.

Just because he did those thing DOES NOT mean HE was speaking of HIM.

JOHN 7:38-39; JOHN 14:16-17; JOHN 16:13; Proves that HE was speaking of the HOLY SPIRIT...

LUKE 11:13; 1 CORINTHIANS 2:12; GALATIONS 3:14 is the REASON HE never LEAVES us.

By the way, Muhammad didn't do EVERYTHING - JESUS did. HE sent out SEVENTY others also (LUKE 10:1-20) but NONE claimed to have DONE what HE has DONE. Muhammad NEVER Transfigured on the Mount (MATTHEW 16:28-17:9). Nor, can his BLOOD REDEEEM humanity of SIN and DEATH. (JOHN 3:1-21; REVELATION 12:11) Or, APPEARED after his death (MARK 16:12-20). And, was there at the CREATION of the FOUNDATION of the EARTH (GENESIS 1:26; JOHN 1:1-18)

>Now, you cannot say that it was talking about the Holy Spirit? WHY?

Oh, but I CAN say, and I DO say, that He was talking about the Holy Spirit. Much can be said to show this, but Jesus Himself tells us Who He was speaking of:

"And I will pray the Father ,and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."

-- John 14:16-17

Does Muhammad dwell in us? NO

Has anyone seen Muhammad? YES

Does Muhammad dwell with us forever? NO

Jesus tells us in His very own words, that it is the Holy Spirit that He is speaking of.

Jesus is coming a second time. Thus the second coming where he comes to get his believes and followers. As for Muhammad doing everything Jesus did , muhammad did not die on the cross, die, and come back to life in 3 days AND rid everyone of thier sins , nor is muhammad GODs son.

Jesus also prophesied his own death and resurrection, and Muhammad claimed Jesus was never crucified and so was never resurrected. There are contradictions in the Qu'ran much more serious than those in the Bible, and the Qu'ran was all dictated by the same person.

Pulling off the top of my head, it makes more sense that the helper was Paul. If Jesus had never died, he could never have appeared to Paul and converted him to Christianity, and Paul was pivotal in creating and converting the early church.

Correction: The bible says the Comforter is the Holy Spirit.

John 14:26

"But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

There are many men who follow Jesus. they pray and fast also, but they all have one thing in common apart from Jesus Christ. They were only human whereas Jesus was God. Jesus rose from his grave, Muhammad did not.

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

The comforter is the Holy Spirit. The bible uses these two interchangeably. It's the same with Jesus. He is also know as the Messiah or the Son or the Savior.

John 14:26

"But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Muhammad wasn't like the Lord Jesus. Jesus was SINLESS - Muhammad wasn't. Also, what Jesus taught was God's truth. Jesus is the only way to the father (John 14:6).

Why did you neglect the rest of the passage?

"8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

It can not be another prophet like Mohamed because Jesus makes it clear that it will be one who glorifies the Son of Man (Jesus), whereas Mohamed does not admit that Jesus is indeed who Jesus says He is. If it is meant to be a prophet, as you insist, that prophet is NOT Mohamed.

No, the holy spirit was not in the believers until Pentecost. It could not have been Muhammad, because he didn't even believe that Jesus died and rose again. Muhammad was not a prophet at all.

As per islamic scriptures, mohamamd is the false prophet.

MUHAMMAD FOUNDED MOHAMMEDANISM (islam).

#1 Mohammad says in the quran 39:12

YUSUFALI: "And I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam."

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

#2 MOHAMMAD FAILED THE TEST OF PROPHET HOOD, if muhammad's allah was true, it would have informed him about the poisoned goat, which later led to his death.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Ibn Sa'd page 249: Verily a Jewish woman presented poisoned (meat of) a she goat to the apostle of Allah. He took a piece form it, put it into his mouth, chewed it and threw it away. Then he said to the Companions: "Halt! Verily, its leg tells me that it is poisoned." Then he sent for the Jewish woman and asked her; "What induced you to do what you have done?" She replied, "I wanted to know if you are true; in that case Allah will surely inform you, and if you are a liar I shall relieve the people of you."

**PROPHET HOOD FAILED**: The question here is weather allah told muhammad that the goat is poisoned or not? CLEARLY NOT, as he had to put it in his mouth. Quran says "if you are true; in that case Allah will surely inform you" {muhammad would not eat the goat and he would not die} but because allah NEVER informed him, and muhammad was a liar he ate it and he died, just as the verse says "if you are a liar I shall relieve the people of you."

After all this even if Muhammad knew that it was poisoned, and he still put it (goat) in his mouth, he committed suicide.

And if he came to know after chewing it, its nothing special as anybody would know after they chewed it, no need for special powers.

#3 Mohammedans do not have any supporting evidence to prove mohammad was a prophet (other than he being a self proclaimed prophet, with hallucinations). He has not been mentioned in either of the earlier original texts (Torah/Bible).

#4 Even if we agree that muhammad was illiterate, certain questions come up like, who wrote the quran?, if not muhammad then how did he verify what he was narrating to his biographers or his contemporaries, weather it was exactly what he wanted them to write?

#5 Muhammad forced the Arab moon god allah on everyone. I say this because, mohammad's father, A PAGAN, had the name Abdullah meaning servant of allah much before mohammad had his "revelations"

#6 Muhammad was called a liar

Muhammad informed Umar [the second Caliph], and he called the Prophet a liar. Ishaq:567.

#7 Muhammad broke oaths as he wished and advised mohammedans to do the same

If you ever take an oath to do something and later on you find that something else is better, then you should expiate your oath and do what is better." Sahih Bukhari 9:89:260

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

#8 Mohammad being a false prophet did not perform any miracle.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The Qur'an very clearly says of Muhammad that he performed no signs. In Surah 6.37, when Muhammad's adversaries say "Why has no sign been sent down to him from his Lord?", Muhammad is bidden to reply merely that God could send one if he wanted to but had not done so.

In the same Surah we read that Muhammad said, "I have not that for which you are impatient" (Surah 6.57), meaning signs and wonders such as Moses had. He goes on to say that if he had had them, the dispute between him and them would have been decided long ago.

# 9 Muslims PRAY to Mohammad like he said to do:

Tirmidhi relates, through his chain of narrators from 'Uthman ibn Hunayf, that a blind man came to the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and said, "I've been afflicted in my eyesight, so please pray to Allah for me." The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Go make ablution (wudu), perform two rak'as of prayer, and then say:

"Oh Allah, I ask You and turn to You through my Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O MUHAMMAD (YA MUHAMMAD), I SEEK YOUR INTERCESSION with my Lord for the return of my eyesight [and in another version: "for my need, that it may be fulfilled. O Allah, grant him intercession for me"]."

Because in Aramaic, Shekhinah means "Holy Spirit", not "Muhammad"

Besides, the El Shaddai or "God manifested" (aka "Christ Logos" the "Mshiha" or "Messiah) has no need to have a human being follow up a second time. The first visit was quite sufficient.

get a REAL BIBLE...cause a REAL BIBLE says the COMFORTER which is the HOLY GHOST which is JESUS.. " I will not leave you comfortless , I WILL come to you "

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the COMFORTER will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Jhn 14:18 I will not leave you COMFORTLESS: I will come to you.

Jhn 14:26 But the COMFORTER, which is THE HOLY GHOST, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Jhn 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

REV .5 :5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

No. Muhammed failed to acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God, which invalidates his standing as a prophet, and makes his writings (ok, his dictations since muhammed himself was illiterate), falsehoods.

ah, no, generally, a person who is a "helper" in the bible is usually a wife. (not a man)....as in Genesis when Adam is given a "help-mate".

Mohammed wasn't a girl.

probably christ meant the church, driven by the Holy Spirit.

John 14: V. 16 - "And I will pray the Father, and He will give yo another Helper, that He may abide with you FOREVER, V.17 the SPIRIT of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him (the Spirit) nor knows Him (the Spirit); but you know know Him (the Spirit) for He (the Spirit) dwells with you and will be IN you.

After His Resurrection Jesus appeared to them in John 20: V.21 - So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." V. 22 And when Jesus had said this, He breathed on them, and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit."

From then on His Holy Spirit has been among us helping all those who want His help Jesus was more than just a man. One cannot be forgiven their sin's without the shedding of the blood for life is in the blood and it takes the blood of a perfect lamb or sacrifice to forgive sin. The only perfect One was the Only begotten Son of God Jesus Christ, and with out His blood that had to be shed there is no forgiveness of sin. It is ONLY His blood that can atone for one sin's because He is the perfect One, and without it one will never be forgiven. When we come to Him just as we are as receive Him just as He is, and confess to Him our sin's then He puts us under His blood and we are clean of sin and then we can come boldly before God for all God can see is us covered in the blood of His only Son Jesus, for without the shedding of blood their is no forgiveness of sin, and no other can forgive us for no other has took upon themselves to become sin for us other than Jesus Christ. When He was on the cross and cried out, "My God, My God why have you forsaken Me?" Jesus knew why but the man side of Him was in torment and pain. God turned His back on His own Son for a moment in time for God cannot look upon sin, and when Jesus died for the sin's of the world He took upon Himself all the sin's of the people who come to Him and His blood covers a multitude of sin's.

God allowing His Son to die was the only way He could save mankind, and because God loves mankind He allowed His Son to become sin, and Jesus said, "No one takes My life from Me, but I lay it down freely. Either Jesus was to do this or else Satan was to win the war on all lives and all lives would belong to him and end up in hell with satan. But through the blood of Jesus He redeemed us back and paid a high price in doing so, and won the keys back from Satan over death and hell. Now the redeemed of the Lord the born again Christian's will never die but pass from this earth into the next. We just change this old body for a new one and we will live and reign with Him forever.

All I know is you will never be a born again Christian or see the Kingdom of the Living God unless you come to Him by way of the cross. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life no one comes to the Father (God) except through Me." He is the only Mediator between you and God, He is the only One who can forgive us of our sin's and you do not have to believe this for it to be so, it is so because He said it was so.

Muhammad was not there at His crucifixion but disciple's were and they saw with their own eye's and Thomas even touched the scar's in His hands and the place in His side where He was pierced.

Muhammad was just another man and did nothing like Jesus did. Jesus chose 12 men who were His main disciples and He even said one of them was the devil, Judas who betrayed Him. If Jesus was going to choose anyone it would have been His beloved disciple John, Jesus needed no one else for when He died He said, "IT IS FINISHED." All that was needed for all mankind was finished through Him.

Muhammad was one man. There were many who saw that Jesus did die on the cross and many more who saw Him afterward. He went into the belly of the earth and fought satan for the keys of death and hell and came forth with victory, and while there He preached to all who had died before Him and they believed and many of those went forth and told of all that He had done and then they went to Paradise to await His final return. But you can take the word of one man but I will take the word of many, plus I will believe the Word of the Living God over that of any human. But who is God that He can lie? God cannot lie and God was in Jesus, for God sent Jesus to fulfill His Word.

No one will force Jesus on you for that is your choice and your alone, but we can tell you He is the Good News for all mankind.

Jesus told us that many false prophet's will come in My name but do not believe them. Don't you think He knew Muhammad would be one of them. Why did Jesus warn us? Because He knew they would lead us down the wrong path and take our eye's off the One who was our real salvation. Jesus Christ. Jesus knew all so He warned us of all things that were evil. Satan wants us all, and all who does not believe in and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior belongs to Satan.
