This is not the age of the earth, that is not a subject in the bible.

Noah born year 1056, at flood year 1656, Gen.7:6; Terah
born 222 years later dies age 205, Gen.11:32, Abraham
gets covenant, Moses dies 470 years later, 603,550
covenant heirs have the law, Solomon dies 516 yeas later
and Judah kings end 391st year at Babylon, Matt.1:1-17;
year 3460, [ 606 BC, now at 2009 CE ], that was 2615
years ago, there will be no king until Jesus at 2nd coming
with his firstfruits, 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; firstfruits are first
resurrected at Rev.20:1-6,12,13, no Satan 1000 years.

Do most believe that Jesus will not reign 1000 years?

The millennial kingdom is the title given to the 1000-year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth. Some seek to interpret the 1000 years in an allegorical manner. Some understand the 1000 years as merely a figurative way of saying “a long period of time” not a literal, physical reign of Jesus Christ on the earth. However, six times in Revelation 20:2-7, the millennial kingdom is specifically said to be 1000 years in length. If God wished to communicate “a long period of time,” He could have easily done so without explicitly and repeatedly mentioning an exact time frame. The Bible tells us when Christ returns to earth He will establish Himself as King in Jerusalem, sitting on the throne of David (Luke 1:32-33). The unconditional covenants demand a literal, physical return of Christ to establish the kingdom. The Abrahamic covenant promised Israel a land, a posterity and ruler, and a spiritual blessing (Genesis 12:1-3). The Palestinian covenant promised Israel a restoration to the land and occupation of the land (Deuteronomy 30:1-10). The Davidic covenant promised Israel forgiveness—the means whereby the nation could be blessed (Jeremiah 31:31-34). At the second coming, these covenants will be fulfilled as Israel is re-gathered from the nations (Matthew 24:31), converted (Zechariah 12:10-14), and restored to the land under the rule of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The Bible speaks of the conditions during the millennium as a perfect environment physically and spiritually. It will be a time of peace (Micah 4:2-4; Isaiah 32:17-18), joy (Isaiah 61:7, 10), comfort (Isaiah 40:1-2), and no poverty or sickness (Amos 9:13-15; Joel 2:28-29). The Bible also tells us that only believers will enter the millennial kingdom. Because of this, it will be a time of complete righteousness (Matthew 25:37; Psalms 24:3-4), obedience (Jeremiah 31:33), holiness (Isaiah 35:8), truth (Isaiah 65:16), and fullness of the Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28-29). Christ will rule as king (Isaiah 9:3-7; 11:1-10), with David as regent (Jeremiah 33:15, 17, 21; Amos 9:11). Nobles and governors will also rule (Isaiah 32:1; Matthew 19:28), and Jerusalem will be the political center of the world (Zechariah 8:3). Revelation 20:2-7 gives the precise time period of the millennial kingdom. Even without these Scriptures, there are countless others that point to a literal reign of the Messiah on the earth. The fulfillment of many of God’s covenants and promises rests on a literal, physical, future kingdom. There is no solid basis to deny the literal interpretation of the millennial kingdom and its duration being 1000 years.

Jesus will reign forever. The number 1000 is poetic and symbolizes "all."

The Psalmist says the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills -- meaning ALL the cattle.

Interpreting the Bible isn't hard. It doesn't mean you twist stuff around. It just means being open to what God is saying, and that the most pedestrian literal interpretation is not always what the writers meant. Understanding the "figures of speech" writers used at the time is essential.

lucifer. conquered God and the world that is why God calls him god of the world. Lucifer breeds his children, you are all breeding like the beasts and the instects, and you are all sinners and his children and Jesus had to go up on a cross and suffer, just so he can prove he is a God and rise again. Or in other words do a dumb Miracle. As the christians shout he is a god he can rise again. And he did this for meeeeeee. I personally find the cross to be just a gift of great love, not a Miracle. It is such a stupid gift for people who do not care about Gods righteousness's and God made a way for the sinners. that is all.

even if lucifer rules everyone in their dirty rag of a heart. God will over come the god of the world one day and his rain will end. God does not force people to see that the god of the world is you yourself, and in order for God to overcome you, you have to surrender your will and your god hood of your life and submit to his will. The christians will say God GAVE us free will, but if it is such a gift, then why does he say your free will and your ways have costed you heaven and you have fallen short of his glory, and you would have been casted into the lake of fire? Free will my ***.

Years back then meant something different than the years we understand today. They had a different way of telling time because the sun and the moon, specially the moon, was different back in those days.

Well since Christians say Jesus is God, I say he sure has been reigning from the beginning.

The "second coming" is Christian propaganda--& flies in the face of not only logic--but Christ's teachings.

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come,

he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with signs: 21Neither shall they

say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
