Why do I start crying when I think about Jesus?

When I watch a good sermon on t.v. and everyone is getting so emotional and I can literally feel the feeling , spirt of Jesus within me ,Why do I start crying uncontrollable and lifting my hands up to the sky praising Jesus and God ?? Does this happen to you too.. I think I cry becuz I love Jesus so much and I have never met him its like a eternal Love that will NEVER fade and I love My GOD too and They have delievered me!!!!Halilujueh

It is the Holy Spirit filling you up like a cup running over. That is the only way I know how to describe it. When we are full of the Holy Spirit it will bust out some how. Some people cry, I do too. Some shout, some dance, some sing with all their heart. Isn't it great. He is so awesome. How did you like the delusional comment. They are so clueless, huh. If they only knew what they were missing. You just keep up the good relationship with God. He has sent you the comforter the Holy Spirit. Drink Him in and quench no more. Keep praising Him and Exalting Him for He is Worthy of your praise. That is why you cry, it is a good cry. Every tear shed He sees and collects.

Because Jesus Christ died for our sins. He is a miracle worker. Nothing is too hard for God. I don't cry. But I do love Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus. God is good all the time.

you got it right, it's because you love Jesus so much, and you can feel the holy spirit dwelling inside of you, what an awesome feeling!! just like when a mother gives birth to her new baby and they cry, you get so full of emotions you have to let it out, by happy tears, tears aren't only for sadness, they are also for extreme joy......

You're just really into the religion. When Jesus' name is praised you feel a euphoric effect and often become emotional because of it afterward. This is also why so many feel drained after a good sermon. Heh, you're actually lucky to feel this euphoric effect without the use of outside drugs.

Because you're sensitive and responding emotionally to a story about human sacrifice and all that sort of thing. That's the sort of story that pulls on our heartstrings. It's very natural.



One thing you should bear in mind (in case someone points out Jesus's crucifixion as something unique) is that crucifixion--while an UGLY way of executing someone--was a punishment the Romans used on literally thousands of people. Though he did suffer terribly, there was nothing *unique* about what he suffered.

recently i've broken down at the thought of Him being abandoned by those He loved and then mutilated by them. He is so innocent yet they crushed Him because of my iniquity. the curse was in the cup from which He drank.
