How come you're allowed to sing in heaven, but you can't draw?

I was singing in church last sunday and I asked my teacher if i could could offer my love with drawings instead of singing and she told me in a mean voice "C'mon Craig, How can you praise God with DRAWINGS?"

I don't understand this. I asked her if i can "Draw God's creations -- Like trees and stuff" and she then told me "But Craig, He's already drawn it for us". She was acting very adamant about it. She ended the conversation by telling me "You can't draw in heaven".

How would she know what is allowable in heaven? What a cretin!



Many of the great masterpieces over the centuries were men expressing their adoration for God and Jesus.



What a miserable place heaven would be if one could not express oneself other than in singing.



Ask the twit to provide you with the Book, chapter and verse where it says there will be no drawing in heaven. Of course she won;t be able to produce it but will probably say "God told her" and if she does I suggest you get out of there ASAP.



I used to teach scripture and sunday school and I would have let you draw in my class to express your feelings

How old are you? If you're old enough, I would request that the teacher show you where in the Bible it says that you won't be able to draw in heaven. You won't be able to do a lot of things in heaven, like build an erector set or party with a DJ and a beer, or even propagate. But I've got to think that drawing would be okay.

Never heard that one. I don't think it's in the Bible, so if I were your teacher, I would be VERY CAREFUL talking for God.
