Does anyone here still think Rev. Trask is a real minister?

For those who haven't figured it out, Trask is a fictional character. He has been playing and I admit he does make me laugh. His posts are hilarious! (Kind of makes you wonder who else on here is full of bull). But on the other hand some people still seem to be taking him seriously.

Again it does make me laugh, but I admit I'm wrong there. It's not right to mock here. Some people are here to ask serious questions, and they don't need this kind of BS.

Does anyone else see where I'm comming from?

What about you Rev?

It is my belief that he is a fraud.I have read his questions and answers.A real christian pastor wouldn't give the answers that he gives.Check his questions and you will see that he has picked the same person's answer as best answer to almost all of his questions, even though some were obviously not the best answer.I wonder what is going on with that.It sounds like abuse to me.I don't believe he even knows God or God knows him, judging by his answers. He sure doesn't know the Bible.I think he is working for Satan, trying to mislead people.

Rev Trask was on the old TV series, "Dark Shadows", from back in the late 60's.Check out the sites below.

Rev Trask is actually Jerry Lacy.

Jerry Lacy was born Gerard LeRoy Lacy on March 27 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa.

Well, Rev Trask says his name is Rev Gregory Trask, and when I looked it up, this seems to be a movie about a guy with that name who was a fake minister. And he just so happens to have the same pic as Rev Trask uses.

However, I guess I have missed the answers you all are talking about. I have read through his questions and answers, and I honestly don't see anything THAT off the wall.

The whole thing is just bizarre.

I don't think he is a minister. and if he really is, he is unlike any minister I have ever met! I have always met open-minded, caring, unhypocritical preachers.

Rev. Trask is definantly somewhat of a poser!

I am beginning to realize that no one should take him seriously (I think everyone does at first). I also think he is beginning to mellow out a little (maybe for being reported to yahoo too many times????)

so is he a real minister?.....NO

thank you for posting this Heron. i replaced into thinking what denomination the Rev. affiliated himself with. i ask your self whether the extra desirable Baptist Church recognizes him. And, i ask your self whether the church he suggested exists. His posts seem venomous to declare the least, and his grammar ought to easily use some paintings. {edited} by the style, Rev. Trask replaced right into a character in the prepare darkish Shadows. And, my cursory seek of Baptist church homes in or close to Bangor, Maine produce no such itemizing as King's Creek Baptist Church. Hmmm, now it is nutrition for theory. One would ask why I strengthen grammar. that is because of the fact I honestly have under no circumstances met, examine any works by way of, or heard a homily by way of a 'guy of the textile' that wasn't properly-written and/or properly-spoken. of direction, i've got under no circumstances met a 'wanna be' or a 'mail order pastor' the two. regardless of the shown fact that, I honestly have met many valid 'adult adult males of the textile' in the time of my years of parochial training and previous, which includes bishops, clergymen, deacons, brothers, reverends, and rabi's. save in mind that seminary is an prolonged term academic dedication, with heavy emphasis on the written and spoken be conscious. Grammar has a tendency to be a substantial factor to be conscious-smyths. possibly i'm off-base here, yet i do no longer think of so. My suggestion is that the Rev. be thoroughly omitted. that's the path of action that i'll pursue.

I have two online ordinations and have a calling by the Holy Spirit in the Southern Baptist tradition. I have extensive knowledge in the Bible and cult ( especially Marian cult) ministries.

I thought he was a Rev at first and I felt sorry for his congregation. But then it's like, no Baptist preacher could be like that! Or at least I hope not! :)

I think the real Jerry Lacy would like to know that somebody is impersonating him.
