Why are atheists so quick to bash Christianity?

But when someone bashes them for not believing in God, they get all mad and try to defend themselves? Is it becasue they know they're wrong but don't wanna admit it? JESUS IS LORD!!!

They haven't listened and they won't listen to you but they're bound under the warth of God already. They walk over the pit of hell on a rotten covering and they're so places on this covering that will not bear their weight. God has so many ways of taking wicked out of this earth and take them to hell.

Why can you not just let us be? Why do Christians continue to force their beliefs on others.

Could I be wrong? Perhaps. Do I know I am wrong? No. What I currently believe is that there is no god. Some day some how someone might be able to prove me wrong, but with the current information I have, my belief is that there is no god.

Just as much as you believe their is a god, I and many others do not.

Well, Christianity--or folks operating under the aegis of Christianity--have done and still do some pretty rotten things that merit a severe bashing. And people have used the bible to justify all kind of atrocities.



But I tell you what: If you can assure me that Christians will cease the behavior that leads to atheists rightly criticizing it, and if you can assure me that Christians will stop trying to force others to live according to their tenets (based on a book of allegories), then we'll stop bashing you.
