Principles Of Miracles...?

All I can do my friend is share my limited experience. I have experienced miracles in my life & have come to know they are all around & maybe happen more often than we believe, if we just had eyes to see. In my experience Miracles heal the mind, they restore perception, & if you heal the mind the body will follow.

Everytime I have a ah-ha, get a sudden insight, realization, or understanding in something that formally eluded me, is it not a miracle. All sudden influx of Wisdom that feels as though it has been bestowed on me thru Grace, knowing I could not have possibly come to it thru my own devices, is a miracle.

My life has been a series of Miracles, touched by Grace, I know it is not possible to go from there to here. As a result I know that seeing Miracles in our life everyday only takes willingness to see. May all the blind be healed!

The principal I have noticed most about miracles is they "save time". That which I may have spent years in coming to know, hearts softened, & minds changed, all given in the flash of an eye, therefore saving time here. For myself, it also appears I must be willing to accept, be in a state of willingness.

I Love the opening from ACIM also!

Blessings!

Is a miracle anything more then a step outside the walls of the prison of accepted possibilities? I don't know. From my point of view there is nothing that occurs that is not miraculous. We are the miracle, we live the miracle. Is an accepted miracle only that which gives us a glimpse of the unity and potential of our true nature? Or could it be anything that shows us the illusion of the reality we have projected. I don't know again. sorry lots of I don't know but good question.

I've always believed in miracles and have witnessed several first hand. However, I can't imagine there really being any set standards that would make up the definitions of what miracles are or how or why they occur.

They simply happen because they were meant to happen and needed to happen.

One might say, there exists a ratio of miracles to each and every reality.

I suppose one can say that miracles are likened to exponents to match their cousin realities -- never exhaustible: say -- 1/X or 1 to x number of realities -- some sort of fraction, in other words, which is no more than what a ratio is.

But such belongs to the world of appearances, not that of the evidence that comes by feeling and having the visitation.

And well of course, miracles are realities like all realities as well but of a special category.

I mean to say here, Miracles are always and ubiquitous, but often dormant by our accounts; and then on occasion they come from out of no where fully active, viable, blatently evident, like that of a sleeping volcano suddenly rising from out of a deep slumber, then exploding: -- in this case touching the ones who merit them.

And then there are the constants of Miracles: these are ratios that look more like what we look at when we just look and see -- that is, Miracles abound; they are all round us, and in us. Again, they are omnipresent; evanescent apparently only to a given observer or experiencer of life. And oh I suppose one can behold that there are principles of miracles, yes.

These are very true ,to bad they did get into how to create what people call miracles.Remember what Jesus said"faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain"He meant this literally ,he was talking about pure faith on all leaves of ones being. This level is rarely achieved by humans.Thank you for Sharing this.

Jesus performed many miracles while here on earth. We can seek him and get close to him and believe in him and ask and it will be done. He said, "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you can ask what you will and it will be done unto you." John 15:7. Also, he said to always pray in the name of Jesus and to ask according to the will of God. We must believe and have the right motivations. (See Mark 11:22-24, James 4:3, I John 3:22; 5:14-15, John 14:13-14, Eph. 6:18, I Thess. 5:16-18, Phil. 4:5-6.)

He healed every disease and infirmity (Matt. 4:23-24, Psalm 103:3)

Miracles seem so incredible to us because for one reason we don't have an explanation for them and because we fail to realize how common they are or should I say how common they should be.

God is more than willing and able to supply our every need. Physical, emotional, material and especially spiritually. The reason why they seem so scarce is because most fail to realize that god has already provided for these miracles.

It's like if we asked our father for money to go to the movies and he kept saying yes, but we just stand there asking and asking. All we need to do is just reach out with an open hand and say, Thank you.

MIRACLES are super natural acts of God.

Enlightened masters alone can perform miracles

And that too with the permission of GOD

Path less travelled: ^bows^ once again.

Peace: It is true.

('m going to piece my answer together as the week goes on)

Consider this:

"There are internal realizations always present within the whole self. There is comprehension of the meaning of all existence within each personality. The knowledge of multidimensional existence is not only in the background of your present conscious activity, but each man knows within himself that his conscious life is dependent upon a greater dimension of actuality. This greater dimension cannot be materialized in a three-dimensional system, yet the knowledge of this greater dimension floods outward from the innermost heart of being, and is projected outward, transforming all it touches. This flooding out imbues certain elements of the physical world with a brilliance and intensity far surpassing that usually known. Those touched by it are transformed , in your terms, into something more than they were. this inner knowledge attempts to find a place for itself within the physical landscape, to translate itself into physical terms. Each man, then, possesses this inner knowledge within himself, and to some extent or other he looks for confirmation of it in the world..."

With that in mind:

"Miracles reawaken the awareness that the spirit, not the body, is the alter of Truth."

The ancient Hebrews built their altars out of stones assembled in a 'secret' pattern...

The original meaning behind the designation of 'Jew' is 'precious stone of God (Jew-el)'...

The Apostle Paul said, " He that is a Jew is one inwardly.(in spirit)"

Christ said, "Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them."

They were speaking in Gnostic terms...

The word 'Gnosis', meaning; knowledge (or Word of God), can be substituted for the word 'miracle' here.

One could say that "miracles" are merely events we do not yet understand fully.

So in that sense, these so-called "miracles" can offer us a chance to be humble (doctors, are you listening?) and to wonder at the complexity and beauty of life.

I don't think it supports the notion of God however, unless the miracle completely defied all laws of science, utterly and totally.

I have yet to see any evidence of this ever happening.

My very Christian mother served me Miracle Whip on everything the entire time I was growing up. Not once did any miracle occur. When I left her house and tasted the goodness of real mayonnaise my entire outlook on life was changed.
