Jesus says in the Lord's prayer for His name to be Hallowed, means to make Holy! What Christian belief is sanctifying Jesus' Father's name, now we can put the only one that does this within the-(?) mark of number (2) That would be the Jehovah's Witnesses

Then number (3) is One God and Father who is over all is Jehovah God!

There is "NO" other religious organization on this earth doing what Jesus commanded being done when Jesus gave us the Lord's prayer!

I will get thumbs down by every other religion and or belief group from atheist to evolutionist but they will be giving thumbs down to what Jesus said, not me!

Jesus said, "True worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is looking  for such kind of worshippers. God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth." Then He declared Himself to be the promised Messiah, the Savior, and that His food was to do the will of the Father. So, that's the template. The Holy Spirit guides such worshippers into all truth where Jesus is their only Mediator and Great High Priest. That is the true religion - not a system of religious duties and rituals - a Person. Relating to the Father through the Son, by means of the indwelling Holy Spirit is the only way. It has no denominational name-tag but it IS Christianity.

Tozer explained:  "Genuine religion is in essence the response of created personalities to the creating personality, God. ‘And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.’ John 17:3 ...The continuous and unembarrassed interchange of love and thought between God and the soul of the redeemed person is the throbbing heart of New Testament religion." Personally I would recommend studying with Jehovah's Witnesses.



If they have the true religion, then the other 39,999 other so called christian religions are false.



Ezek 18:4 says the soul dies. The vast majority of those 39,999 say the soul is immortal.



Eccl 9:4-10 tell us the dead are unconscious, knowing nothing, The vast majority of those 39,999 says we are conscience after death.



If you don't agree with Jehovah's Witnesses, then you will have to wade though those other 39,999 other religions to find it.



The book of James is a good place to start.



Jas 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." 



John 17:26 and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them." 



Of these 40,000 so called christian religions are known for their love among themselves?  The making God's name known?



In all my conversations with non Witnesses after going house to house for decades, only Jehovah's Witnesses have ALL the identifying marks of the true religion.

The real question is they all can't be right.  But they sure as hell can all be wrong.  Religion is a lie at best.  It is an assumed conclusion based on suspect claims from dubious sources supported by logical fallacies nested within circular reasoning bringing you back to the assumed conclusion.  It is dishonest to assert as fact that which is not evidently true.  Yet that is what religion does.  It tries to assert as fact things that we already know are not true or even possible.  By definition magic, the supernatural and deities cannot exist.  If you claim your god does not exist in the confines of our reality, then by that very definition your god does not exist in reality.  Not only is religion not evidently true, but it is evidently not true as well.

Every religion had a founder. One of those founders clearly demonstrated that He was God, by constantly doing things only God could do. He, God, founded one Church, said it was to remain one, and promised that one Church "The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth", and "Whatsoever you bind upon Earth is bound in Heaven", and "He who hears you hears Me". So, the choices are (1) be a member of the Church to which God promised the fullness of truth, or (2) be a member of one of the thousands of manmade churches and denominations, the teaching of each one contradicting the teaching of the others.

Jesus was not saying that Christians would be witnesses only of him and no longer be witnesses of Jehovah. After all, Jesus is called “the Faithful Witness.” Revelation 1:5; 3:14 He is the foremost Witness of Jehovah and the model we follow. 1 Peter 2:21



Most, if not all Christian religious teach that all good people go to heaven, then I read Psalms 37:29 which says "The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it." I said to myself, some one is lying. Well the Bible does not lie, but false religion does.

How can a person know which religion is right?



(1) On what are its teachings based? Are they from God, or are they largely from men? (2 Tim. 3:16; Mark 7:7) Ask, for example: Where does the Bible teach that God is a Trinity? Where does it say that the human soul is immortal?



(2) Consider whether it is making known the name of God. Jesus said in prayer to God: “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world.” (John 17:6) He declared: “It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.” (Matt. 4:10) Has your religion taught you that ‘it is Jehovah you must worship’? Have you come to know the Person identified by that name—his purposes, his activities, his qualities—so that you feel you can confidently draw close to him?



(3) Is true faith in Jesus Christ being demonstrated? This involves appreciation of the value of the sacrifice of Jesus’ human life and of his position today as heavenly King. (John 3:36; Ps. 2:6-8) Such appreciation is shown by obeying Jesus—sharing personally and zealously in the work that he assigned to his followers. True religion has such faith that is accompanied by works.—Jas. 2:26.



(4) Is it largely ritualistic, a formality, or is it a way of life? God strongly disapproves of religion that is merely a formalism. (Isa. 1:15-17) True religion upholds the Bible’s standard of morality and clean speech instead of weakly going along with popular trends. (1 Cor. 5:9-13; Eph. 5:3-5) Its members reflect the fruits of God’s spirit in their lives. (Gal. 5:22, 23) So, those who adhere to true worship can be identified because they sincerely endeavor to apply Bible standards in their lives not only at their places of meeting but in their family life, at their secular work, in school, and in recreation.



(5) Do its members truly love one another? Jesus said: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” (John 13:35) Such love reaches across racial, social, and national boundaries, drawing people together in genuine brotherhood. So strong is this love that it sets them apart as being truly different. When the nations go to war, who have enough love for their Christian brothers in other lands that they refuse to take up arms and kill them? That is what early Christians did.



(6) Is it truly separate from the world? Jesus said that his true followers would be “no part of the world.” (John 15:19) To worship God in a manner that he approves requires that we keep ourselves “without spot from the world.” (Jas. 1:27) Can that be said of those whose clergy and other members are involved in politics, or whose lives are largely built around materialistic and fleshly desires?—1 John 2:15-17.



(7) Are its members active witnesses concerning God’s Kingdom? Jesus foretold: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” (Matt. 24:14) What religion is really proclaiming God’s Kingdom as the hope of mankind instead of encouraging people to look to human rulership to solve their problems? Has your religion equipped you to share in this activity, and to do it from house to house as Jesus taught his apostles to do?—Matt. 10:7, 11-13; Acts 5:42; 20:20.

All of them (or most anyway).  All religions have "truth".  Of the 3000 Earthly religions, many do not exhibit much "fact".



Say I gave you my old shoes and told you that Nike (the goddess of victory) wants you to quit drugs, get a job, and feed your children.  If you take it to heart, then it works for you. If Jesus does the same for you, then by all means be a Christian.  But if you suffer guilt and grovel in your religion, then it is not working for you.  If my old shoes make you feel that you should kill yourself, then clearly they are not working for you. If the religion (or shoes) are not working for you, then toss it or them into the rubbish.



Chose what works for you. A poorly fitting religion is like a poorly fitting shoe. 



Keep in mind that a religion is very much a political affiliation as much as it is a faith. For most Americans it is 70-80% political and 20-30% faith. They also lead by preaching, and not by example.



If faith X is so great, then when you meet the person who follows faith X, it should show in their behavior and life rather than in their lip service.



Ask yourself this; how many people do you know chose their own religion?  Odds are they follow their parents, spouse, or whomever, and never did any "homework".  Also if their religion forbids you from learning others, then what are they hiding?  You did know that only a few religions have such bigoted rules.  I can only think of three (Islam, Judaism, and Christianity).

Some people think that the goal of life is to be happy and make others happy. But we all still suffer. The purpose of life is to realize who we are and why we are here. We are not this body which we appear to be. This body is constantly changing. Every ten years, the body has regenerated all its cells. We are not the body, we are not even the mind. We are the divine soul. The purpose of life is to realize we are that, the divinity. And there is another reason that we are alive. Once we realize we are the divine soul, our purpose of life is to be liberated from the cycle of death & rebirth. To be liberated from misery and suffering. To become one with the divine. That is the ultimate purpose of life. It is LIFE- Liberation from Ignorance and Finding true Enlightenment.

Jesus said that we can identify those who worship God in the right way. We do this by examining what they believe and what they do. He said: “By their fruits you will recognize them.” And he added: “Every good tree produces fine fruit.” (Matthew 7:16, 17) This doesn’t mean that those who worship God are perfect. But God’s servants always try to do what is right. 



Our worship should be based on the Bible. The Bible says: “All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16, 17) The apostle Paul wrote to Christians: “When you received God’s word, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but, just as it truthfully is, as the word of God.” (1 Thessalonians 2:13) True worship is based only on God’s Word, the Bible. It is not based on human ideas, traditions, or anything else.
