So what religion was Adolf Hitler?

The Austrian born German politician...what is his religion? I heard he was a big vegetarian...was he a Buddhist or something? I heard Christians aren't allowed to be vegetarian.

I'm talking about the Adolf Hitler that lived from April 20, 1889 until April 30, 1945 and headed the National Socialist German Workers Party, not that other guy. I believe he was also chancellor of the country from 1933 until his death in 1945.

Hitler was an occultist. He cavorted with men like Alister Crowley and sought advice in horoscopes. Hitler and his top cadre spoke in private about the need to eradicate both Christianity and Judaism. The Jews would exterminated and Christianity would be forced to die a natural death through perversion of symbols and rituals (mixing Christian traditions with occult symbols). A handful of scholars have suggested that Hitler indicated that he throught himself to be the anti-Christ based on his infatuation with Nietzsche's book of the same title.



Kenneth Bruke suggests that Hitler was indeed non-religious starting in his Vienna college days. Here we know of a Hitler who seems to delight in presenting a secular viewpoint in repeated debates against Jewish beliefs. Hitler outright states a violent frustration with the Jew's stubbornness in Mein Kampf.



Anyone who suggests Hitler was Catholic fails to understand the basic principles of propaganda.

some say he was roman catholic, others say he had no religion. personally I am convinced he was an atheist. he believed himself to be god in a sense. once he went on that rant that night in the bar, and got a whole bunch of people to agree with him. there was no stopping what he might/could do.



hitler like mao, pol-pot and stalin was most likely an atheist. he believed the hebrews were less evolved than the germans, and he used that justification to kill them.

Born catholic, but no actual biography of him make any meaningful references to any actual Catholic practice after the mid 1920's (i.e., no records of him attending mass, making confession, or actually BEING catholic, even though he occasionally said he was Catholic). He messed around with a lot of hermetic, occult, & pseudo-BS-made-up Germanic paganism, though it's not unreasonable to suspect that it was all for show.



At the end of the day, for all the period of his life that's famous (i.e., joining the Nazi party onwards), he does not seem to have had any single religious practice, but he paid lip-service to any belief system that seemed convenient, mostly focusing on a Germanic Christian ideology with various non-Christian seasonings (if that makes sense).

Its not your profess religion that counts buts what you believe in your heart Hitler may profess Christianity and maybe God will forgive him. I not the judge God is?he did some awful things and you can tell a person by their fruit
