Question:
is anyone else getting sick of the constant trolling in religion and spirituality?

Now, i've only been on yahoo for a few months and only in R&S for a few weeks, but boy is this thread flooded with trolls! I see creationists and/or trolls answering questions addressed specifically to atheists and vice versa. Why would you answer a question involving an area you obviously have no expertise in? I asked a question a couple of weeks ago about pantheism not once but twice. I remember a very particular answer telling me that only an "utter moron" would ask this question and that it wasn't a question a "mature adult" would ask. Um, first of all im 15. Then i took a look at some of this persons Q&A and gathered that this person was clearly atheist. So what were they doing answering a question about pantheism other than failing to make their point? I actually had to post a similar question to this one in etiquette before getting a half decent answer to my question. Is anyone else annoyed at the amount of trolling on here?

Oh yeah, I get fed up with it and then leave for a while. Then I'll pop back in - usually long after I've forgotten my password and have to make a new account for it. I stick it out for a while and then I get tired of it. It's kind of like Romper Room on Meth.

When the only answer they give is "utter moron" I don't see them as much more than that. Even if they think the question is stupid, if they were rational people, they wouldn't stoop to that baby bullshit on all the questions they decide to answer.

It's annoying, but you get over it after a while. People say what ever they want online but if they're in person they crawl in a ******* ball because they're gutless that's why trolls have accounts for this stuff. Because they're immature kids with no life. They're parents are too busy at work to notice them so they do this. It's sad. They're sad, and pathetic. But life goes on. Haters gon' hate.

Not a bit.

You can be an atheist and have an opinion about pantheism. That's not even trolling there Skippy.

For a few weeks? There's your problem.

Who comes to Y!A to get spiritual advice anyway? There are like, 10 different websites suited for that purpose and the only reason this segment still exists is for comedic purposes now.

YES. its filled christians/atheists, but that is what you get when you touch spirituality issues. what can be done about it? nothing, just wait and hope that they eventually stop using yahoo answers, however others will come and repeat the cycle until the Internet finally shuts off and ww3 begins
