Question:
Question on timing mentioned in psychic readings?
2010-02-28 20:16:54 UTC
I had a psychic reading a few months ago (from a very reputable psychic), and I was advised to wait for an event to occur in 3-4 weeks. This has not yet happened, but I have read that when a psychic provides timing, they can sometimes see a number "3" and interpret it as 3 days, weeks, months, etc. Has anyone had a similar experience, or is a psychic and can verify this? If you did have a similar experience, did you notice that an event occurred in 3 months instead of three days for example? Just curious, as I am fascinated with the spiritual world. Thank you in advance for any help.

Psychics interpret the energy they feel and see around you. Keep that in mind, it's an interpretation. It's not an exact. No psychic no matter how good or reliable they are is 100% accurate. Review what this person told you and decide how much is valid and how much might be off.

Keep in mind a person should never put off decisions that need to be made, just because a psychic told you to. Especially if there's some form of timing involved. If you have to make a decision about something, make it. A reading should only be used as additional input, not as the sole source.

To the exact point of your question, each psychic is different and I can't speak for the one you saw. But many do get an impression of a number which can be interpreted as 3 days, weeks, months, years. Typically additional impressions can be received to confirm the timing of an event if it's that important. For instance in a tarot reading a particular card might be overturned to identify a month helping to tell you the 3 means 3 months.

Additionally the timing might be off because the event involves others doing something and making a decision that brings the event into play. If that's the case, other things maybe going on that have nothing to do with you that could be delaying the event.

I have a psychic that I've gone to for years and I asked her these types of questions. She basically told me that the spirit world doesn't work on the same time table as we do and they don't always "name" things the same way we do. They communicate more in images.

So the 3 could easily mean many different things. Also, any names of streets/towns/people don't usually come through very strongly because the spirit world is all about energy--so they don't send the name of the person to the psychic, they send the energy of the person to the psychic. That seems to go with your 3 weeks thing because maybe the guides passed on the image of 3, but maybe they weren't specific enough to give the 3 a "name" such as minutes, days, etc.

The psychic that I go to is: www.theguidedlife.com

She's really great & I trust her a ton. Have sent many people to her. If you can't figure out a good answer to this question, I'd say check out her site. Especially the FAQ page. And then email her if you still have questions. She's very kind and will respond quickly--as she always does for me.

Knowing the future changes it, things might not turn out exactly the way it was said to happen. In timing or event, I wouldn't hold to much by a psychic reading. They're good for personal refinement and a general guide post, but not something one should obsess about.

Indeed "timing is everything" and while I cannot speak for all "psychics" I will say that where it involves theTarot cards, timing or the question of "When" is probably the hardest thing to see and predict. Speaking only for myself, I can usually get a good sense for the "season" of which things may come to pass. I remember once telling a woman to expect changes at home and the possibility of a new addition to her family come the later part of Autumn (late October - early November.) When the time rolled around the prediction came to nothing. The next year however shortly before Thanksgiving her teenage daughter informed her she was pregnant.

I don't think you should ask this here. Be prepared for ridicule. I don't think you should live your life by psychics. Obviously, it's not going to happen if it has not yet. Take care of you. Do what is best for you.

All the time, timing can be changed because when you focus on it, it changes what happens. There have been times when the person I go to has been on the ball, and other times, when it takes time for everything to happen.
