Question:
Isn't the entire notion of forgiveness to avoid penalties for crimes immoral?

Two 50 year old people go before a judge.

Person A has never committed a crime in her life, not even a speeding ticket.

Person B is a rapist and murderer.

The Judge wants to know what each person thinks of his Son.

Person A says she does not know him, and is sentenced to jail for life.

Person B says his son is a great man, and he is set free.

LIKE IT OR NOT, Christians -
This is your explanation of "God's Judgement of Man".

When the Pharisees asked Jesus why He hung out with prostitutes and other sinners (Person B), He answered "The sick need a doctor. I have not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners."

The problem with the Pharisees was that they did NOT see themselves as sinners in need of a savior. They believed they could EARN their own salvation by following the rules (Person A).

Those people (Person A), Jesus called vipers and 'children of hell'. They called for His torture - all the while really believing they were doing God's work. Why did they kill an innocent man? Because they envied Him. But you have no envy, or greed or lust or hate in you; do you? You don't need a savior.

So you think you're 'good enough' without Jesus, and I bid you good luck.

God can raise children for Abraham from the stones if He wants. He surely doesn't need you. You will be forgotten like a bad fantasy, just like the nameless Pharisees.

No, that's YOUR explanation. A little lack of understanding can go a long way.

It is.

One things christianity clearly lacks is ethics (morality). There is no place on earth where a christian living by the book would not land in jail. Their idea is simply that they are better than others, just because they pretend god. Morals isn't even something they consider. They think stoning people is moral. Or at least their book does.

The notion you present would be immoral but what God does is accept the 'payment' for all our crimes that his son paid on behalf of those who agree with that. This means that the penalty was suffered by one who was without blame. its moral because it means punishment WAS meted out so that a pardon could then be given.

Being forgiven does not mean there are no consequences for your sins. You misunderstand Gods mercy, grace, and forgiveness.

Comparisons to things man does to regulate his morality on Earth don't serve as appropriate comparisons to God's justice. You're trying to make God fit into your notion of what's just. To God, all sin is unjust and separates man from Him. "Knowing" His son is the ONLY way to God despite your labored metaphor.

Your premise is wrong, so you come to the wrong conclusion.

Proof that it's not what you are, but it's who you know, that leads to success.

Person B would go to jail also if he didn't feel TRULY repentant...Good thing God knows our hearts eh and humans aren't judge

You see...It's not about being good that gets people to Heaven.. No one not even Christians are good... It's about accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and living according to him

And God said ALL will have heard of him.

.So...That is NOT an excuse...But I'm sure if someone didn't hear of God he'd handle that justly.. but YOU have heard of God...What will be YOUR excuse??

If we are truly repentant of our sins, and ask God to forgive us our trespasses, He will. The hard part is asking the people that we have harmed and hurt deeply for forgiveness as we mere mortals are not so forgiving. But if we don't forgive others, then God has said we will face the consequences of our sin, insomuch as He will not forgive us..
