The Bible teaches that the universe is 6000 years old, a snake talked, a bush talked, a mule talked, a virgin gave birth, a man had strength in his hair, a woman turned into salt, the earth is flat, stars are tiny objects very close to earth, bats are birds, insects have 4 legs, there was a 7-headed dragon and a man lived in a fish for 3 days

I was convinced that the Bible was the Word of God when I read a book called "Evolution: the fossils still say NO!".



I had always believed we were the result of a slow and long evolution, millions of years in the making, and we were just a small blip on God's radar, and along the way He gave us stories that were somehow important.



But when I finished that book, I realized this was not the case. We didn't crawl into God's radar, we were always in His sight this entire time, and it was always us that lost Him in our unbelief. Time and time again we were disobedient to Him, and even to this day, it's still happening. It wasn't the distant and probably mythical past, it was real and it was recent.

what convinced me IS: after haaving read it, and professed my faith and truly did begin to repent of my sins, that my efforts in faith were immediately "blessed" with confirmation and confirmation continues to this day, but my religion and faith is not limited to the Bible. there are living prophets and apostles but greater than that, there is the Holy Ghost an the gift of personal revelation. two things i have found in the last 36 years. ! one is the word of God cannot be bound, therefore to say the bible is the only truth is more a lie than saying the bible is innerent. therefore the bible is not perfectly compiled, nor is it the complete "words" of God. a living prophet or an individual revelation from God is more accurate in truth than the bible is, but even still, i spent ten years studying the bible and comparing it to modern revelations for true prophets. so it was the testimony of a true prophet that had me alter and upgrade by biblical beliefs. and as one would fine tune their timing chain in a cars engine so must all people correct and finely tune the Truth in all the words of God. but finally after tuning the truth of God and His words to far extremes i still find the bible remarkably sustainable.

God talks to me. A stop sign at an intersection is Gods way of telling me to be careful before I enter the intersection. Initially, it was the many prophecies of the Bible, not found in any other book, penned by, but not written by any mere man. Only someone omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent can foretell the future. Once you get over the awe of these prophecies, you begin looking for other evidence of the truth of the Bible, or another book comparable to the Bible. But then you find no other book in existence, whether the Torah, or the Quran, or the Tao or the Upanishads, etc., that has been able to foretell the future with such accuracy and detail.



Truth must be founded in the truth and detail of evidence. When so many evidences fall together in fact, then detail in truth and integrity can become a foundational belief. Only then can we move forward w/o going in circles or backward. Just follow the evidence, wherever it might lead. Presenting verifiable evidence from multiple sources in truth and integrity of detail is no easy task, atheist, take a lesson.



This is real simple and easy and I want to make it easier.



We know Moses was a real person, period, found in the 12th Dynasty instead of the 18th where they were looking and knew the Bible to be in error before. Not many can match the integrity of Moses, Egyptian scholar trained under Pharaoh's own guard, a Patriarch, author of the Pentateuch.



Mizraim, a Hebrew word translates literally "Egypt," the name of the largest Pyramid, Pharaoh, grandson of Noah, son of Ham. Mizraim lived with and knew and talked with the eyewitness of Noah's Flood. There was no doubt the Flood was literal and there should be none now, unless you can disprove this evidence in history.



Here is the inspiring moment. Moses said that Adam wrote a book. Without any preconceived notions, this says to me that the first man, Adam, was not only fully literate, but highly intelligent as well; the first perfect man.



Moses wrote the Pentateuch, but the Creation account was probably handed down to him by Adam. The evidence is clear these are real, literal people. Adam gave Moses the Answer to life in a book, and a guide and inspiration for the rest of the Bible, the first and most profound statement of human history, and some people want to dismiss it as metaphor? There are Christians who call the true origin of species a myth? Better check what it is you have faith in; your intelligence? In NO WAY can millions/billions of years be inserted into the Bible, regardless of what the Pope says (he's always last to come around, placating). There is NO WAY to interpret or read the Bible other than literally as it was intended by Moses.



That would be enough for most people. Cemented, verifiable, facts in evidence, with eyewitness and historical accounts, that Moses was a real man, wrote the first five books of the Bible, that the integrity of Moses is unassailable, all confirming the truth and accuracy and authenticity of the Bible.



The Bible really must be written by God. Who else could write such a story? More clues: historians and archaeologists readily recognize the "Cultural Explosion" that occurred in Mesopotamia some 5000 years ago.



According to the records in evidence that we have, in one generation not one but at least two and arguably three advanced civilizations complete with language, writing, irrigation, monuments, domestication of beasts of burden, a monetary system, a system civil and criminal law.. Poof like magic just suddenly there. Clear evidence of creation not evolution, like the "fossil bloom" in the Cretaceous Period of geologic time, same period of the Bible, same thing, lots of evidence, a "bloom" of evidence everywhere of Noah's Flood in stratigraphy. Hmm, clear evidence of a catastrophic flood in over 500 civilizations and a bloom of fossils, then a bloom of humanity, what more clear evidences of the Bible can be ignored?



If we count the generations back to Noah, it would be about 150. The Flood was roughly 4,500 years ago. Average generation span of 30 years. Divide 30 into 450, and you get 150 generations. Sure, it's a rough estimate, coincidence that it's so accurate (like most of the Bible)?



Who needs faith when all of the evidence points to Creation? Anyone that wants to plug into power and Unity and protection of truth. There can be great and many rewards for truth. Either you believe what the Bible says or you don't, but the evidence points to creation, where the unfounded opinion of the evolution myth is unjustified. Your decision.



And for the Gap Theorist, Theistic Evolution, Day-Age Theory, Progressive Creation, or the Framework Hypothesis, and the Pope for cryin' out loud, trying to add millions/billions of years to the Bible? Impossible. Please tell me again how a literal Moses is not writing literal scripture? Has anyone else had a course in Logic? All Hebrew experts agree what the Bible says, literal 6 day Creation; Young Earth.



The finishing touch for me was the mountain of evidence all around me of a Young Earth, and absolute proof that evolution is a lie from its core. Using exclusionary principles, there are no valid alternatives to truth in the Bible.



Since Noah's Flood can be proven literal, the Creation event of Gen 1-11 is also literal, then the resurrection of Jesus Christ is literal. This is what it's all about; we are the light. Without Jesus, we are just worshiping man, and might as well go home. With Jesus, we have the way, the truth, and the life, a map, profound purpose in direction.



The very fact that a book written 2,000 years ago is applicable today is a miracle in itself. The fact that it was transcribed with such accuracy over millennia, even in today's world of technology, is a miracle, confirmed by the Dead Sea Scrolls to be the same Bible (OT) that the prophets carried in scroll form.



When I realized the work of our founding fathers based on the Bible, that two-thirds of our Constitution comes from Deuteronomy, what they knew, what Moses knew, was that it would be the morals of men and not the laws of men that preserved society.



Is it coincidence where the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, that the Bible is the supreme book of virtue and truth and integrity in the land?



Our faith does not stand on a metaphor or allegory or poem. Wake up and stand together on the truth in evidence instead of dividing us; there are way too many parallel accounts to discard it as just a metaphor or allegory. This is repeatable, testable, falsifiable evidence; fact, no faith required, hands free, swimming downstream with the Unity of the Universe, powerful current, new energy. That which is in me is the river. Don't you hear it? The reliable truth of God's Word.
