I defend anyone's right to believe and worship as they wish and choose. Yes, I defend Muslims. I defend Jews. I defend Christians. I defend anyone's right to worship as they wish; I also defend our Bill of Rights and OUR Constitution. I have my OWN personal beliefs. My personal beliefs are PERSONAL; therefore, I keep my beliefs to myself, and do not feel the need to change what I believe, or to convert to another religious point of view. PERIOD.

I am as happy with my beliefs as you may be with your beliefs. Thank you for asking.

For all those people who are from other religion. Our prophet had three revelation for ur kind information one or two can be denied but three it's a message. All of u are telling that Islam is only about violence did u look back at the wars of Christianity which people called it the "Holy War" and i think Islam is the same religion as all others.Muhammad is a false prophet? wow look who is talking.Jesus Christ was born and he himself said that he is sent by the god and the Christianity should be spread everywhere.I will say that he was honestly a kind person but just shouting out loud that god has sent me won't make him look like an apostle. And all those rumors stating that ISIS is Islam's fault? the people working in ISIS are living on the wrong believe. Those people think that violence is the only way to prove something and in my opinion they are nothing but stupid peoples.I hope u find ur answers. If u want to fight then let's fight with words.By the way i am more likely an atheist but criticizing other religion with wrong ideas i just can't stand it.I am 14 years old."DON"T UNDERESTIMATE ME"

?

No. Why would I ever convert to a religion I don't believe to be from God?

I've looked into Islam and I profoundly disagree with it on many levels. Islam is a human construct, a product of Muhammad's mind, that was shaped by the religious and cultural environment in which he and his followers lived. The theology of Islam is entirely explicable as a natural development that combines elements of pre-existing religious traditions like rabbinic Judaism, Christianity and Arab paganism. The Qur'an contains no actual scientific miracles and no divine intervention is required to explain the religion's origins.

Although the Qur'an claims in its opening verse that Allah is "Most Merciful" and "Most Gracious," the remainder of the book describes a deity with some decidedly less noble characteristics: "Those who disbelieve in Our verses, We will drive them into a fire, every time their skins are roasted We will replace their skins with other new skins." (Qur'an 4.56) That is an unimaginably horrifying belief to hold about any human being, especially when one considers that Muslims believe the "kuffar" ("disbelievers") will remain in hell for the countless billions of years of eternity. So I thank God that Islam is not true - and I thank God that his love and mercy extend to everyone, excluding none and condemning none to eternal torture.

I don't know how these preachers can read the bible teach about Jesus then visit a mosque? No. Muhammad was simply a false prophet. His first revelation in the cave of Hira was just a case of sleep paralysis. No. I already found the way, the truth, and the life - His name is Jesus Christ. There is no salvation in any other (including the moon god of Islam, Allah). Jesus Christ loves us all so much that He gave died for our sins, then rose again from the dead. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father longing for all to trust in Him for salvation. Who did Mohammad die for? No one. Where is his dead body? Still in the grave. He couldn't have done what Jesus Christ did even if he had wanted to. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Romans 10:8-13).

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

If you get 72 virgins in Heaven and sex is forbidden there, what's the purpose? Since Jesus is the one and only way to Heaven, and you get 72 virgins in Hell, what's the purpose? If you are busy screaming your lungs out in Hell because you are standing waist deep in molten lava for rejecting the one Son of the one true God who died for you on the cross, could you really find time to think about pleasure at all? I think not. It is time Islam got over it's hatred for Israel and look into Jesus..

Convert from what? Your question implies that everyone is somehow religious in the first place. If I have no religion why would I choose Islam rather than any other religion?

All religion is evil and the cause of all the problems in our world. If I was to adopt a religious life it could only ever be Buddhism. That is the only one that abhors violence and thinks every living thing has an equal right to live on this planet.

Let's look at the facts rather than faith for a moment:

Adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond's book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat: Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.

Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.

Here's how it works:

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 3% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States -- Muslim 2%

Australia -- Muslim 2.5%

Canada -- Muslim 2.8%

Norway -- Muslim 2.8%

China -- Muslim 2.9%

Italy -- Muslim 2.5%

At 3% to 8%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs.

This is happening in:

Denmark -- Muslim 5%

Germany -- Muslim 6.7%

United Kingdom -- Muslim 7.7%

Spain -- Muslim 8%

Thailand -- Muslim 7.6%

From 8% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply.

This is occurring in:

France -- Muslim 12%

Philippines -- 9%

Sweden -- Muslim 8%

Switzerland -- Muslim 8.3%

The Netherlands -- Muslim 8.5%

Trinidad& Tobago -- Muslim 10.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 15% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions.

In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam.

Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in:

Guyana -- Muslim 15%

India -- Muslim 19.4%

Israel -- Muslim 16%

Kenya -- Muslim 18%

Russia -- Muslim 21%

After reaching 25%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia -- Muslim 40%

Chad -- Muslim 53.1%

Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non- believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

Albania -- Muslim 70%

Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%

Qatar -- Muslim 77.5%

Sudan -- Muslim 70%

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%

Egypt -- Muslim 90%

Gaza -- Muslim 98.7%

Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%

Iran -- Muslim 98%

Iraq -- Muslim 97%

Jordan -- Muslim 92%

Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%

Pakistan -- Muslim 97%

Syria -- Muslim 90%

Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%

Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%

United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace.. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%

Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%

Somalia -- Muslim 100%

Yemen -- Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

'Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; the tribe against the world, and all of us against the infidel. -- Leon Uris, 'The Haj'

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death.

Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.

Today's 2 billion Muslims make up 28% of the world's population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century.

Give me proof that Islam is correct and Allah exists and I will convert in an instant.

However "my book says it is true and I really believe in it" is not proof. The fact that the Quran is better written than the bible only shows that it is newer than the bible. It still has all the same flaws and contradictions.

Final point, you would also need to prove to me which was the right denomination of Islam to follow

WELL ALL THIS YOU ARE SAYING IS NOT TRUE

First of all women in islam are NOT oppressed, men and women are equal in islam. The hijab and the modesty, is not oppression either, modesty counts for men also. It is haram not to wear hijab, becuase men look at you, but they have to lower their gaze too, which in that case means its not haram. In islam your are rated in your intencions, not just actions. For example if i acctidenly drink alcohol, and i didnt knew it, then its not haram

We muslims, are peaceful, we are not terroist, terroism had no religion! We actually believe that The Holy bible, And The holy torah, is sent by god too. We don't hate them.

Under absolutely no circumstances whatsoever. Even if a knife was held to my throat.

My skepticism is the product of a rational deduction drawn upon all the available facts. Islam, like its sister religion, Christianity, has no basis for its belief system except for a book of ancient fables. It should by now be well past its sell-by date.

And most of its practices and principles (which most Muslims in Europe are not so tightly bound by - if they lived in the Middle East, they would be far more strictly enforced - and they should accordingly be thankful that they can live under the European principles attached to freedom of belief in a free society) are barbaric and ridiculously outmoded.

I would CLAIM to believe ANYTHING the Enthusiastic Rectums of ANY religion wanted to hear me claim, if doing so would save the lives of those dear to me, even my own.

But to believe in ANY of the Abrahamic religions, one must accept the BASIC story of Abraham.

In THAT story, an Invisible Voice tells Abraham to slaughter a child.

And, rather than do the REASONABLE thing, which is to say

"FU[]K OFF, Invisible Voice. No GOD worthy of worship would even JOKINGLY suggest such a thing!", old Abe very carefully plans to do EXACTLY that!

Over in Texas, USA, a seriously Christian lady by the name of Andrea Yates drowned each of her five children.

So they would go to Heaven, before the world could corrupt them.

Her attorney did NOT try to convince the jury that Andrea was doing the best she could, as a Believer in an Abrahamic religion.

No. Islam is not a peaceful religion. I'm not even a hundred percent sure where to start. First of all, it strays away from the righteous teachings of Judaism. It denies a prophet in The Last Days, or a future Prophet that is a Messiah. It preaches to hate our enemies and kill those who do not submit to the law of Islam. It preaches to do evil to our enemies, or anyone who does not submit to the harsh laws of Islam. It downgrades women as well. I would NEVER in infinity years submit to the law of Islam.

All religions are same and which are mostly myths because, people grow up on them same as teaching someone from childhood that 2+2=5 that kid would grow up fighting for that theory.

people who reject the fact this is true usually don't think about it a lot or they're just too stupid to realize. "The best thing is to believe that you were made by something much bigger than you imagine" even this could be not true because we don't have any evidence

I am a firm non-believer (atheist if you prefer). There are two scenarios under which I would convert to Islam or any other religion.

1) I am forced to do so. No, I am not willing to die for my atheism. It's not like it's a religion or something. It would be a pretense though, but if confronted with force, my act would be very convincing. If possible though, I would resist secretly in any way I could to undermine the theocracy and thought-control.

2) If Islam, or any religion, could provide concrete, demonstrable, verifiable, persuasive, reliable evidence for its claims--indeed extraordinary evidence, and their gods demanded I join the religion, then I would do so. But quotes from their holy books won't cut it. Arguments from popularity, arguments from existence, subjective arguments--none of these will do. Nor will "look around you", or "my personal relationship with ______." "The evidence is everywhere" is not convincing either. Prove your god exists. Prove your religion is true. It doesn't even have to be 100%--I'll settle for 90%--although if it really were true, you would have 100% proof.

The fact of the matter, NO, because there is only one true religion and that is the Christian religion, because you need a perfect sacrifice in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, and there is no perfect sacrifice in the Islam religion, the only perfect sacrifice is the Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. That is why Jesus Christ is eternal God, because only God can save us from are sins, that is why he is king of kings and Lord of Lords, that means Jesus Christ, is God of all gods. That is why Jesus Christ is called the lamb of God, that was slain before the foundation of the world, that is when the Lord Jesus Christ paid for sins of the elect or God chosen, from before the foundation of the world. Read Isaiah 9:6 read Isaiah 43:3 read Isaiah 43:11 read Matthew 1:23 read John 1:1 read John 1:14 read John 1:29 read John 17:12 read Titus 1:3 read 1 John 5:7-8

Please don't misunderstand me. I have studied Islam and know quite a lot about it. I've also had Muslim friends whom I respect and admire. This isn't about mindless hate or fear or branding all Muslims as terrorists. No. This is about my unshakable belief in what God, in Jesus, did to save us from our sins. Jesus wasn't just a good man or a prophet, and he certainly wasn't a Muslim! No, Jesus was with God in the beginning and he came from heaven to earth to atone for the sins of the world. He died and was resurrected (and I know the Qur'an denies that) and he will return - but not as a follower of Muhammad. Sorry, but I don't recognise the Isa of the Qur'an and I will never submit to Islam.

Yes:-

reasons:

1a.The Quran is the final scripture and the final say of all the dispute.

1b Allah is the Creator of the Heavens and the earth and whatever in it.

2. Allah has no father, no son and no spouse.

3. Allah is not begotten nor does He beget.

4. Allah is neither a male nor a female or a plural being.

5. Allah is Singular, Allah is One.

6. Allah is not immutable or adoptable or transferable.

7. Allah is Sovereign Lord. He does not share His Sovereignty with any body.

8. Allah cannot be seen in this world or heard directly.

9.Allah's Glory and Power can only be imagined.

10. Allah's Messengers and Servants include all prophets from Adam down to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and finally last Prophet Muhammad. Peace be upon all prophets.

11. Allah does not sleep, slumber, eat or reproduce.

12. Allah sees and hears all things at all times.

13. Allah knows the hidden thoughts of men within their hearts.

14. Allah is Infinite , all else is finite. There is nothing like Him.

15. Allah is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient.

16. Allah is Independent, all else is dependent. Allah exists, all else sub-exists.

17. Allah is Absolute. He is by Himself.

18. Allah is for all people -white, black, yellow and brown.

19. Allah is for all geographical areas and for all times - past, present and future.

20. Allah is Eternal, He was there before time began and He will be there after it finishes.

21. Allah is not Jesus, Buddha, Ram or Krishna.

Conclusion, Jesus is not God. He was a prophet and a Messenger of Allah, one in line with many other prophets who were sent by ONE TRUE ALLAH at a particular time, at a particular locality and for a particular community.

This is a question only a primitive race of beings with backwards thinking can construct. We as a planetary race should be colonizing star systems beyond our milky way galaxy by now. But instead we still run our technologies and economies on oil based fuel systems and we believe in ancients gods and books of revelations. We have outlived the usefulness of our religions by 500 years. Its time we move away from all the religions of the world. Truth can only be realized through personal experience.

ALL RELIGIONS ARE SOMEONE ELSE'S TRUTH.

Christianity is Jesus's Truth.

Islam is Mohammad's Truth.

Buddhism is Buddha's Truth.

Hinduism Krishna and Rama's Truth.

Judaism is Jehovah's Truth. (sounds like some kind of alien)

Everyone seems to have become lazy to find their own truth.

Religions are like convenience store businesses. They tell you what to believe and what not to. That way you don't have to think for yourself. An ultimate strategy of enslavement of masses. So that they can be ruled over by few who hardly believe in any of these.

Some people like my husband has frequent visions and realistic dreams that feature Jesus Christ or the felt power of God. God speaks very clearly into his mind and is warning him of terrible times if we do not receive God s loving protection with his merciful forgiveness.

2017-03-19 02:09:48 UTC
No, I would not convert to Islam. Never going to happen. Islam is a false religion. I want no part of the Muslim religion.

One more thing: I am a Christian. My faith is in Jesus Christ. Through His blood that was shed on the cross and His resurrection I am saved. I am not going to deny my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for my Redeemer lives!

I don't want to have to die a martyr's death. But if it came down to these two choices:

1. Renounce my faith in Jesus Christ and save my earthly life and be eternally condemned to be burned in hellfire.

2. Lose my earthly life for the sake of Jesus Christ and for the sake of the Gospel, and be in Heaven with God for eternity.

I'd pick the second option.

Nothing is worth burning alive forever in the fires of Hell. It's not even worth gaining the whole world and losing my soul.

John 8:44-47

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

this is truth...........

John 3:16-19

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Dear All, Thanks for your views. I am a practicing Muslim. Islam is a good religion. Many people fear Islam because it does not condone recklessness we have today in our societies. If you think God is so merciful and forgives all sins no matter what we do then you should reflect back to history why God destroyed Prophet Noah's people through continuous rain. Why God punished Pharaoh during the time of Prophet Moses? Why Sodom and Gomorrah incident happened. All these are examples to people who reflect.

Funnelweb
2017-03-19 23:47:59 UTC
No. The answer by @Jon_Pike is the best answer. I will mention my reasons, including major and minor reasons.

MAJOR REASON:

Islam conflicts with Christianity, and with the teachings of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Quran's account of Jesus Christ is totally inconsistent with the gospels, and they cannot both be true. For instance, all four gospels explicitly state that Jesus was crucified and that He died on the cross. The Quran explicitly states that He was not crucified. Now if Islam is correct, it requires one to believe that the teaching of Jesus (who according to them was the second-greatest prophet of all time) was corrupted. And in fact there is a verse in the Quran inviting people to read the Christian scriptures to confirm the truth of what Muhammad was saying.

The Quran says (5:47), "Let the people of the Injeel (Gospel) judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed (then) such (people) are the Fasiqun (the rebellious i.e. disobedient (of a lesser degree) to Allah."

But if I judge by the Gospel as this verse of the Quran invites me to do, I judge the Quran to be wrong. So if the Quran is right then it is wrong. If it is wrong then it is wrong. So the Quran is wrong.

MINOR REASONS (not in any particular order):

1) Muhammad had numerous wives, more than the prescribed number for ordinary Muslims, which is four. He even got revelations in the Quran about the matter. Many other false prophets have used their claim of prophecy to their own advantage and had numerous wives, for instance, Joseph Smith, Moses David.

2) Islam has a death penalty for apostasy, which is still carried out to this day, and even ex-Muslims who live in western democracies are afraid. Any religion which requires death-threats to keep its followers in its ranks has to be suspect.

3) I like my little dog and I am happy to bring him into my house, especially when it is cold.

4) I have no desire nor any need for circumcision. One only needs good hygiene.

5) Muhammad married a child, and child-marriage continues to this day because of his example. Many of these young children suffer dreadfully.

The problem goes back to a dispute over who had spiritual authority over the Muslim community after the death of the prophet Muhammad in what is called the “fitna” which translates as temptation or trial and caused all the discord within Muslim community.

Shi’ite Muslims believe that authority was vested in his family; the Sunnis look to the sayings and actions of Muhammad as well as the Koran.

All the Muslim on Muslim violence is based on that split!

Over 550,000 Muslims have been slaughtered by Muslims in Syria alone with almost daily beheadings, burnings and other executions!

Isis and al Qaeda is turning Islam into a death cult that will be unacceptable in any civilised country. Whatever fighting may do it cannot save Islam from self destructing only the real Muslims can do that and there is little sign yet of Islam tackling the problem!

Now China is threatened with terrorist attacks in the name of Allah!

Sadly there is hardly a country in the world that has not experienced Muslim violence!

Anyway, it is obvious, after reading, understanding and contextualizing, that a lot of it was made up by mohammed to conveniently serve to satisfy his own personal wants, needs, preferences, prejudices, ambitions, whims and, most essentially, his lusts. It's cr@p and a load of b0ll0x.
