The Holy Scriptures says at Ephesians 4:4-6 "One body there is, and one spirit, even as you were called in the one hope to which you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the entire Bible is the inspired word of God, and instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition, they hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs. We worship Jehovah as the only true God and freely speak to others about him and his loving purposes toward mankind. We believe that Jesus Christ is not part of a Trinity, but that, as the Bible says, he is the Son of God, the first of God's creations; that he had a prehuman existence and that his life was transferred from heaven to the womb of a virgin, Mary; that his perfect human life laid down in sacrifice makes possible salvation to eternal life for those who exercise faith; that Christ is actively ruling as King, with God-given authority over all the earth since 1914. We also believe that God's Kingdom is the only hope for mankind; that it is a real government; the one quoted at Matthew 6:9, 10; that it will soon destroy the present wicked system of things, including all human governments, as quoted at Daniel 2:44; and that it will produce a new system in which righteousness will prevail. For more information about Jehovah's Witnesses please go to their official website: http://www.watchtower.org My sister and I are the only baptized Jehovah's Witnesses in our family. Repeatedly the Scriptures refer to the body of true Christian teachings as "the truth," and Christianity is spoken of as "the way of the truth." (1 Timothy 3:15; 2 John 1; 2 Peter 2:2) Because Jehovah's Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures on the Bible, their faith in the Bible itself as God's Word gives them the conviction that what they have is indeed the truth. So our position is not egotistical but demonstrates our confidence that the Bible is the right standard against which to measure one's religion. We are not self-centered but are eager to share our beliefs with others.

Well im a christian and to me, it makes sense and it feels more "real" than other religions. The thing is when you follow the teachings of christ 100%, you have the desire to do good things and make the world a better place. Other religions are kind of different. For ex. (and google if you must) if you are an extreme muslim following their teachings 100%, then you would have hate for others who do not believe in islam. Its all in the Qu'ran.

Hinduism I hear has 300 million gods. Wheres the unity in that? if you research on the goals of hinduism, it basically tells you to pursue your own desires and fulfilment. It seems like this religion or philosophy is created by a persons desires. Buddhism is almost the same but the thing is, the goals in buddhism is that you destroy all your desires and have none. Once you have no desires, then suffering is destroyed. I think against this because its human to have desires. And if you follow christ's teachings than your desires are to help the world etc.

After all that, it is scientific proof that Christ actually existed. I believe Christ is the messiah because he fulfilled more than 60 prophecies in his life time that were prophecized before his birth. All the other religions seek for enlightenment and the truth. Jesus christ is the enlightenment and the truth.

You are assuming incorrectly. I have never said that only one religion is true. In fact, I have always said there is no right religion, there is only the right religion for you. I am an atheist. In case you think atheism isn't a religion, go to Merriam-Webster's online dictionary and you will find that one definition for religion is "a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith". Atheists believe with ardor and faith ("something that is believed especially with strong conviction") that there is no god, so atheism is a religion.

Ahh, Religion hung Jesus on the tree, the leaders of the Chruch, due to Jesus being the son of God, said he was blasphmy, by saying he is the Son of God, and no one can come to the Father except by him. And on the third day, Jesus came out of the tomb, some people are still in the tomb, with a rock over there door to freedom, due to religion bunk, and lies. See when Jesus died, the wall in the tabernackle was ripped so now anyone can come into the presents of God through Christ blood, and example. But religion holds back alot of truth, and keeps people in a cave, icealated to God and his promises. God sends humen Angles to come and open the passage back up, and the person who is in bondage, walk out free. And whom Christ sets free is free indead, Faith, and knowing the truth, is making people the Church, and not the building, or leaders holding back truths. Reserection Sunday, should happen everyday of our lives, some times we roll the stone over our door to help others, they are not the threat, we are, by speaking out things in darkness, when Jesus came as the light of the world, to shine the way to the kingdom of God. Only his light in us, will push back the darkness. Jesus is the door, anyone who knocks on his heart strings, can enter into the Kingdom of God. Faith is the only thing that moves the rock off our tomb, Living in darkness is a choice. that is why the Bible says, choose this day, who you will serve, me, or your self. I say this is true, without Christ in your heart, your dead, your still in the tomb. Religion has nothing to do with the power of the truth. Its vain the bible says. Christ is the way the truth and the life, anyone who finds him, finds life. Leaders of this world, can not lead you, if they have never been in the tomb, when the rock of ages comes in to free them. Its something that changes the heart, to change the mind, to live a life of fullness. If a leader has never found this path, they are no leaders of Heaven, they are not sent by God. Only Jesus is the leader. We all follow him. What path are you on? Are you following a light? Jesus is the light of this world. keep your eyes in the light, follow the light, dont stray from the light.

This is the problem with religion, someones always has to ask or defend or promote the right and true religion .this question has caused so much pain and suffering through the ages.I think we can use less religion and more faith

The original, unchanged revelations given to Abraham and other prophets(like Moses and Jesus ) reaching back to Adam all came from the One True God(The Creator). This common origin explains their similarities in many beliefs and values

However, over time the teachings of the various religions, due to a variety of reasons, have become distorted and mixed with made-man ideas.

The last Prophet and Messenger of God, Muhammad , who is a direct descendant of Abraham through his first born son, Ishmael, was sent with the Last Guidance, Revelation and Testament, the Holy Qur'an(koran) to amend and correct the changes and corruption made to the the "Torah" which was sent to Moses and theTrue Gospel of Jesus. To say the truth ,God preserved all the other Holy Books plainly by preserving His Last Book the Holy Qur'an(koran)which contains the right and the truth of all that was changed in those other Books.

This is why this last Revelation which was sent 1423 years ago has remained unchanged, not even a word or a letter has been altered.

There is not even one word of difference between two Arabic Qur'ans, anywhere in the world. There has been no disagreements in history among Muslims as to what should and should not be in the Qur'an. However, in the case of the Bible, even the most ancient manuscripts conflict with one another so that no two are identical. Footnotes in all modern versions of the Bible prove this fact.

These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

It was only natural for Almighty God to preserve the scripture revealed to Prophet Muhammad, because he was the last Prophet and Final Messenger of God.

Islam teaches us that we must pray directly to God without an intermediary and no soul can bear the burden of another and that the nature of humanity is good, and we did not inherit sin from Adam. Each soul comes into being free of sin.in Islam there are no priests or clergy -- each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator -- Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

The oneness and universality of God's message requires that people accept all the messengers of God. Rejecting one of them amounts to rejecting them all. The Jews reject Jesus's mission and Muhammad's mission; the Christians reject Muhammad's mission; whereas the Muslims accept them all, but reject incorrect historical interpretations and human elements in these missions.

As the Qur'an is the final revelation and Muhammad is the final prophet, humanity is obligated to accept it: "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost all spiritual good" (3:86).

The Final Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever believes there is no god but God, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is messenger of God, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven."

you can do that now as you are reading these lines is to pronounce the two confirmations and attestations of faith, here it is

I BEAR WITNESS THAT THERE IS NO GOD WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH ( ARABIC WORD MEANS ONE GOD-THE CREATOR). AND I BEAR WITNESS THAT MUHAMMAD IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER. I BEAR WITNESS THAT JESUS IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER.

The right picture of lslam is conveyed in the Qur'an, which is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation.

I encourage Christians and other religions to learn about Islam from Muslim sources and The Basis Of The Muslim Belief and not rely on second hand information which in many cases is distorted or contains a deep seated anti Muslim agenda. This is indeed a more scholarly approach

Using a random scripture heuristic to explain my answer, Revelation 1:18 says: "I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades."

In Greek from www.blueletterbible.com, this is: "zao (compare Isaiah 57:10) kai ginomai ['become', not 'was'] nekros kai idou zao eis aeon aeon amen echo (to have or to hold, including kinship) kleis (keys) hades kai thanatos".

This means "I'm regaining strength and becoming dead and behold I am regaining strength for eons and eons amen and have the keys of Hades and death."

Compare with Luke 11:52, "Woe to you experts in the law (nomikos), because you have taken away (Greek, airo - to raise from the ground, take up: stones, to raise upwards, elevate, lift up: the hand, to draw up: a fish) the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering."

Compare with Matthew 11:13, "For all the Prophets and the Law (nomos - from nemo (to parcel out, especially food or grazing to animals)) prophesied until John."

Compare with the usage of the countryside for child butchery and dividing up family inheritances from which a living could be made from agriculture in Isaiah 57:1-8, particularly verses 5 and 6. Hence the strange uses of bread for superstitious reasons - Lucy R (one of Freud's patients) and her burnt pudding, Marie Antoinette suggesting that the populace eat cake, "don't short-change the baker".

Combined with 1 Timothy 1:4, "nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work - which is by faith," this means that we really need to put our Christian work ahead of family ties. It will work out best for our families anyway.

The reason I'm placing doubt on the traditional reading of verse 18 is that the "angels" that have the voice of multitudes seem very similar to those in, for example, Sylvia Browne's Book of Angels, which describes Satan's angels, if you ask me. Compare Daniel 10:4-6. Demon means "distributor of fates or fortunes". Distribute has the idea of "in a certain sequence". The voice of multitudes might be an attempt at a mass broadcast with a part-message for everyone. If a demon can impersonate the dead prophet Samuel, then it can impersonate Jesus. However, keeping these thoughts in mind, even with an incorrect understanding of them is useful to continue a Christian life.

No religion could be the only true one. Religions are made by people and no one is perfect. You could probably learn something good from all of em though.

Christianity is the only true religion and no one can inherit it from family. One must be "Born Agian", by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. I know that is the truth because the Holy Ghost has manifested Himself to me.

Religion will get you no where. Its all about a relationship with the Father. I played that game years ago and all it does is leave you empty and lost. Get that relationship with the Father and you are set for this life and eternity. Repent and be baptized. Peace out.....

There can never be one true religion because you can't prove any of them. Each religion will say they are the one true one that you should follow, but they're all BS.

FORGET RELIGION

Christ is the path of salvation.

Christ is the truth of God's Word.

Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

God's Word is not a religion but a reality.
