With all the movies I know that depicts the Passion Play, why do none of them address the Resurrection? Does anyone know of any that do. I mean real movies, not little videos put out by this church or that church. Recap...
A) Why do most if not all Hollywood style movies avoid the Resurrection of Christ?

B) Do you know of any Hollywood style movies that do depict the Resurrection of Christ?
First movies off the top of my head...
The Last Temptation of Christ
Life of Brian
The Passion of the Christ

Part A: I honestly never thought about it. I think I will now.

Part B: I cannot add to your list but I think it very interesting the religious affiliation of Jack Lenz, the composer of the music for The Passion of the Christ.

You have eight thumbs down on your answer to "If Jesus comes again.....would the catholic church even recognize him?" I just finished my rather lengthy edit there and gave you your second thumbs up. Hope that help a bit.

well,, good friday is all about his cruisifiction, so a lot of movies/plays only depict that part of it. that why you have to wait till church on sunday to hear about how it ended, lol.. it makes it more real that way. you see his death and then 3 days later learn about his resurrection.

I was disapointed by mel gibsons movie. It focused entirely on the bad points of jesus's life and like you pointed out there was nothing about the reserection.
