This is not intended to be malicious or provocative except to people who ask malicious and provocative questions under the guise of eliciting information.

If Heaven is such a great and wonderful place why aren't you in more of a hurry to get there? I don't mean suicide, but surely you could put yourself into high risk situations. That way, you could increase the probability of dying more quickly, and thus you'd get into heaven faster.

well, of course first of all we are not all of the same religions, some religions say to hav to live a full active life first before moving on till u get closer to this place we now call "heaven" and of course others r scare of death because there is no theory of such a place. Some actually enjoy their lives and want to live to the fullest and if there is a heaven why not go through it twice by living an exciting life while ur alive in the first place?

Being dead could suck worse than living. The important thing is not to rush big changes. I believe in reincarnation, so I know I'll eventually wind up back here after dying. Living is as much a part of spirituality than just a place to go when you die. It's a journey, not a destination. Anyone who is eager to die and see faith as just a ticket to some afterlife or another is missing the whole point of the thing.

Actually this is the more the case for those that do not believe in a God because they do not have whole life objective. This is why suicide is already so high among non-christians; they do not have a purpose to continue life -- you live- you die - then nothing, so what is the purpose. Sure you can have goals and become wealthy, but what good does it do other than make you comfortable?

Those who are christians, have a purpose in their lives that must be fulfilled. They have a goal and work that must be finished before they receive a reward.

You cannot hurry into exaultation. It comes naturally and over time.

When you die, you don't become a different person. It is still you just without a body for a little while. Heaven will only be as happy as we are. That's why it is so important to learn what makes us happy and what doesn't in this life. We need to figure out what is good and then follow it.

I can't wait to see my Father again, though. One of my favorite quotations is:

"Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father and how familiar his face is to us."

I can't wait to go skydiving though! lol...

On the CONTRARY Atheists should kill themselves.

Regarding everyone will be dust no need to feel pain by living what you wrote.

Believers try to add good deeds on their side to have better rewards in the afterlife.

PS: I can't understand why atheists are into religion this much. If they don't believe why bother asking questions and replying. Just don't believe. This shows

a) They are not sure

b) They need comrades

c) They see it as a religion

d) You tell me.

I am not an athiest, but when I put myself in the position of an athiest, one who does not bellieve in God at all, then I think I wouuld feel that there is absolutely no point to life.

However, its important to separate true athiests, who actually hold as their belief that there is no God of any kind, from the average non-believer who is just not sure or never explored faith.

I think there are very few true athiests.

You've got to be careful or God will deem you committed suicide and kick you out.

It's like insider trading scandals. A little bit you can get away with, but if you are too blatant, you are busted.

Just because you're not atheist doesn't mean you believe in heaven.

No, it is not. I am here for a reason. God has work for me to do. Until He is ready for me, I will do the best I can.

He has a purpose for us all. We're alive for a reason.

dude.... you are very stupid. If you would kill yourself, you would be an idiot, or you wouldn't go to heaven. God would know that you would want to go to heaven, so if you would kill yourself, ya wouldn't go there!

U R SMART!
