Why doesn't the church allow priests to marry?
Why does the church teach the necessity of the sacraments?
Why doesn't the church allow gay marriage?
Why do I have to confess my sins to a priest?

On and on it goes...

If you don't like what the church teaches there are literally thousands of other Christian sects out there...

Don't like infant baptism? fine... find yourself a church that teaches adult only believers baptism... but don't expect the Catholic Church to change to suit you.

Trying to change what God created would be wrong. Thats why there are over 38,000 denominations and non denominations of Protestant Christians. They rejected the truth of God's Catholic Church and established their own ways because the Catholic Church would not change from the way God created it.

I have heard the Catholic Church does allow some priests to marry these day. I believe priests should be allowed to marry and have children. Forbidden marriage violates Gods plan for the family.



The sacarements are not needed. They are useful and show piety but they are needed for acutal salvation. The sacrifice of Jesus was completed at the cross.



Gay marriage is wrong. Why should the Catholic Church allow it?

This kid didn't ask the Church to change, he just disagreed about the Minnesota marriage amendment. The church rejected him anyway, and denied him confirmation.

Perhaps because that is way the Catholic, very disobedient, church was started? It was started in 305/6 A.D. by 29 lazy men that did Not like ALL that is required of us all! So they removed 604 Commandments, plus added other desires and named it Catholic... Read or watch history on it. Like "Martin Luther" It has even been remade.

The Catholic Church claims to follow God. The problem is that they don't. You pointed out some things that completely contradict the Bible.



Catholics don't allow priest to marry. That's completely against scripture:

1 Timothy 4:1-3

Chapter 4

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.



You talked about confessing sins to a priest. Catholic priest have to where youhave to go to them to get to God. That contradicts the Bible:

1 Timothy 2:5

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;



The Catholic Church allowing gay marriage goes against scripture. No real church of God would be promoting gay marriage.

1 Corinthians 6:9

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

(Abusers of mankind=gay people)



The whole point is that the Catholic Church claims to be a church of God. They claim to be His wife. How can they be that when everything they do is against the scripture. The only thing they have right is the name of Jesus. How can you be Godly when you do the opposite of what God says???

Because many people, especially theists, expect reality to change to suit them. They would be much better off learning to accept reality for what it is instead of trying to get reality to change (which will never happen).
