Absolutely crazy to worship an invisible man in the sky, yes. Better to worship God instead. I've never heard of anyone at any time in all the history of the earth worshiping an invisible man in the sky. You are the first person ever to mention it. Chances are, you don't know what you're talking about. God is not a man, dude. God is a Spirit.

Christians are going 12th century in their thinking in this 21st century.

There were some Christians responsible for archaic legislation. The influence peddling came from the charity group The Family, also known as The Fellowship, they used private donations to try and influence law to enact a death penalty against homosexuals in Uganda. This should be a crime in the United States! Some politicians from the US are also members of The Family.

From the article in the link below:

Current Elected Officials

* Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kansas

* Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.

* Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wy.

* Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa

* Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla.

* Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla.

* Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark.

* Rep. Mike McIntyre, D-N.C.

* Rep. Joe Pitts, R-Penn.

* Rep. Heath Shuler, D-N.C.

* Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich.

* Rep. Zach Wamp, R-Tenn.

* Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va.

The Family has members who are law makers in Uganda. It was through these law makers that the bill is being passed. Christians are murdering homosexuals in Uganda because they cannot do it in the United States. What is worse is that no one has been arrested for this in the US! This is an outrage! And Christians wonder why they are despised in all walks of life in all countries!

it would take an extremely narrow-minded Christian to take God as actually a guy interior the sky. that's clearly a metaphor as maximum biblical statements are. Being made in God's image easily pertains to our religious selves incredibly than our actual ones. area of the concern may be that the extra stepped forward religious thinkers are fearful of speaking out and offending the traditionalists.

I don't know, I've never tried it.

"it kills more people each year than smoking,drinking and extreme sports together"

I assume you have got some statistics to back that up. And I don't mean invented ones lifted from some atheist website.

What a very unreal idea you have of the LORD God, He is from everlasting to everlasting, a concept we can't even begin to get our heads around. People worship all sorts of things, it used to be wood and stone images but nowadays it is likely to the the high performance car, the perfect house or a footballer.

Whether you wish to believe in God or not it makes absolutely no difference to His existence nor to that of His son, who died that we might live when he returns.

Look in front of TV news reels and in prints on people, places and events on what is going on around us in time?

Who is coming after us with a bamboo stick?

For not going to school?

While playing "Snake and ladder " in time?

If you think of God as a man that is invisible,then you just do not know what God is. Here is a tip. What do you think causes people to have gut feelings , like know something before it happens? Do chemicals in your brain have this capability, or is it maybe God?

I thought people could do as they please with their bodies. I'm sure that includes their minds and souls (if such a thing exists).
