This is seriously getting to me i am getting very scared as to what might happen on that date and what should we expect. I just can't get away from all these continues talk about this date on search engines and on youtube. That's the main reason i started to attend church so that i can repent and hopefully Jesus can save me from that hell that awaits all like me.

In new york city bronx area there was this man holding a sign saying that judgment day is in May 21, 2011. I am very afraid for myself brothers and sisters and i feel that i will already be sent to hell. I feel that god is just gonna throw me away and not care just like that.

I already imagine myself burning and screaming in pain and covered in fire. (I am an idiot into falling for this)

Salvation is given simply, as a free gift to us purchased by God. If you believe that Jesus is God come in human flesh; confess that He is God with your mouth, and ask Him to please give you salvation and fill you with His Holy Spirit. Believe that Jesus' sacrifice was sufficient to cover all of your sins, past - present - and future. We receive grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and this is not by our works lest any man should boast - but by the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross. He alone is able to set us free from our sins and reconcile us to Himself. Jesus is fully God and fully man. He is the Head of the Church and the One True Mediator between mankind and God. God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. Even though God's Spirit dwelled in the flesh of man, His omnipresence did not cease. I recommend reading the Book of John, Romans, Galatians, and Ephesians to start with. Not too long of a read, but will give you a good basic understanding.

According to the Bible we will not know the day nor the hour. See Matthew 25:13; Mark 13:32-33; Matthew 24:36; Matthew 24:50; Luke 12:46; Matthew 24:42; Acts 1:7. The Day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Peter 3:10, Revelation 16:15. And the rapture is biblical (1 Thessalonians 4:17, 1 Corinthians 15:52...).

2 Thessalonians 2:1-2: Now we beseech you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together to him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2012 is a Mayan belief. The person who assigned the date (May 21, 2011) is Harold Camping. He is best known for a prophecy of the second coming of Jesus Christ in 1994 (which utterly failed) and for his current prediction of the second coming in May 2011. When a prophesy fails, that person is called a false prophet, according to the Bible. (Reference: Deuteronomy 18:20-22, Deuteronomy 13:1-5). God says to beware of the wolves among the flock. Harold Camping's false prophecies are spread through avenues, such as: ebiblefellowship.com and familyradio.com.

Keep in mind that there are signs of the end times and we should be aware of them, but do not trust anyone who says they have a particular date - when the Bible states otherwise. The Book of Revelation gives a stern warning about adding to Revelation. Harold Camping is not the first person who has declared a date on the rapture and may not be the last either. Many people follow false prophets and their teachings. Joseph Smith (Mormonism) was also wrong about the date of the rapture, as well as, Pope Innocent III and quite a few popular Televangelist preachers. We need to be like the Bereans. When Paul preached to them, they were not awed by his credentials, they made sure to compare his teachings to the truth taught in Scriptures.

Reading I and “especially” II Thessalonians may be helpful to those who plan on dropping their lives and waiting on a rapture date. In 2 Thessalonians, Paul writes this letter to the Christians who seemed to be confused about Christ's return, partly as a result of fake letters by extremists (2:2).They thought Jesus had already come back, but Paul explains that days of evil (and in particular the 'man of lawlessness') must come first. He stresses again that Christian expectation of the second coming should never distort the everyday practice of our Christian lives. Also see Matthew 24:23-26. Read the Bible to get the true facts on the end times (make sure you have a reliable version…compare Bible versions yourself).

Harold Camping taught that NO ONE was saved between 1988 through 1994

Think for yourself. Do you own a Bible? Read it. I am a Christian and I go to church, however, I don't take everything that is "spoon fed" to me as truth. Just because a guy in the Bronx says that judgment day is on 5-21-2011 doesn't mean that it will be on that day (actually BECAUSE someone thinks it will be then, it most likely will NOT be).

And Jesus WILL save you.

Don't believe me? If you believe the Bible how about this?

2 Peter 3:8-10 (King James Version)

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

The Bible clearly teaches that someday God will intervene and bring an end to this present evil world. This will happen when Christ comes again to establish His Kingdom of righteousness and peace. As the Bible says, "In keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness" (2 Peter 3:13).

But the Bible also warns us against making exact predictions, or claiming we know precisely when Christ will return. Just before He ascended into heaven, Jesus told His disciples, "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set" (Acts 1:7). At the same time, the Bible urges us to be watching for His coming, because it could happen at any time: "Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come" (Mark 13:33).

Jesus did, however, tell us that certain events or signs must happen before He returns. For example, He warned that in the last days the world would be shaken by wars and disasters. He also said the Gospel must be preached to the ends of the earth. These signs are happening today.

The most important question, however, is this: Are you ready for Christ's return? You can be, by turning to Him in faith and trusting Him as your Lord and Savior. Don't let another day go by without Christ.

If it makes you feel any better, the same guy who predicted the May 21st date also said that the same thing would happen back in 1994. Why would he be wrong then but right now?

I hope to see warm weather, hopefully a nice breeze. I hope to sleep in, being that it's a Saturday. I expect to spend some of that night with friends playing card games. I expect to be working on a little house work such as laundry and dusting.

I expect to wake up on Sunday morning with any major changes.

I expect to be celebrating Victoria Day Weekend with my kindred, camping and sharing a lot of alcoholic drinks around a large campfire.

The world will not end. If you truly believe that, please feel free to send me your life savings, as you will no longer need them.

Look up Harold Camping. He made this prediction and this isn't the first time he's made it.

For me, since that is a Saturday, I'll probaby start building my house... hopefully.
