If the King James bible is 100% accurate then why are there so Many Errors when the Holy Spirit Can not Error?

According to 1 (fake) pastor on here, he claims that the KJV is 100% accurate yet he never explains the errors that are in it.

Here are just a couple:

According to the KJV you receive "worship" just like God, even though God says only he is to be worshiped.

(KJV) Luke 14:10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

According to the KJV John the Baptist's last name is really "Baptist".


(KJV) Matthew 14:8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.


(KJV) Luke 7:20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

And here we see people "wake up" dead...


(KJV) Isaiah 37:36 Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they [were] all dead corpses.

There are many more but I want to see the "Pastor" explain such heresies

People sometimes forget that the KJV was published in 1611 A.D.



For centuries prior to 1611, Latin was the only scholarly language in Europe. The Latin Vulgate translation of Jerome, based upon an. Alexandrian Text, was the "official" text of the powerful Roman Catholic Church.



Protestant translators sometimes did not have access to all of the Received Greek Official Text, and being familiar with the Vulgate, they sometimes put words into their translations based upon the Latin which were never there in the original Greek. About 80 places in the New Testament, the KJV adopts Latin readings not found in the Greek. Erasmus had a corrupt, incomplete text of Revelation to work from, and hence this book has many errors in the KJV.

I never understood KJV only people. Many at my church are that way. If you read something in a different version you get "but what does the KJV say?". When I study and read I read multiple versions. I like to compare how it is translated in the different versions. It gives you a better perspective on what was meant in the originals.

This is a loaded question. There are several versions of the Bible, of course they have all had some type of a human influence which would make the meaning different in doctrinal issues. There were also powerful people that would threaten the scribes to death if they would interpret certain words in the more correct manner, so the scribes would use the next closest meaning. Therefore, which is the most accurate? It would be the NIV version. If a certain denomination uses only one type of Bible and it is not the NIV, then more than likely there is a human influence to it. You say there are errors, but I don't see you proving your point. I do think you ought to study things thoroughly before stating your statements.

I studied, formally in an accredited institution, Sacred Scripture over a period of four years. We were told that the KJV of the bible is the absolute worse translation of the bible ever!

its not 100% error proof, did you know their are over 100 books of the bible, many of which that were taken out because the powers of the ancient times didnt belive in them, causing gaps, and making questions
