Question:
If someone chooses not to believe my hyothesis, why would they care what my evidence is?

Sheesh, obsessed with my 'evidence' much. You would think this apparantly insatiable thirst for evidence would lead them to do something more substantial than simply ask us for it. But to each their own. Anyway, why would you take someone else's word for evidence. * shrug * They keep on saying there is no evidence, yet they keep on asking for it. Insults, rant accusations, and possible reporting are sure to follow.

It is the ego which allows us to be in this reality where there is duality. That is why we see this reality with 2 eyes. But, we must understand the Higher Truth - that all is One, One Energy Source - and that perception comes with seeing from a single eye, the spiritual eye. The ego's true purpose is to offer us choice by comparison. It helps us decide what we want to experience and learn in this lifetime. The ego controls emotions. We need it for our wide range of emotions, which we learn from - in this way we learn to work with energy and use it appropriately. Self sabotage is the ego in its lower vibration.

Listen to the Higher Self. The ego was designed to deal with polarity - neither side of which is the real truth. The Higher Truth is larger than, bigger than, either side of polarity. It is the point in the middle, the zero point, the neutral point where there is no attachment.

No, you're not getting it. I simply don't care about your hypothesis, or your *lack* of evidence or anything. I'm apathetic. You are only getting responses demanding evidence because you keep throwing fuel on the fire with your questions. I think you like arguing about this, actually, otherwise you wouldn't keep trying to bait everyone.

Because you are asking us to believe your hypothesis. You are the one making the claim, so you have to provide the evidence.

I don't take anyone's word for evidence, I take the evidence for evidence.

The only time I have ever asked a theist for evidence is when they make a claim and ask my opinion, they insist I believe something, or they try to impose something based on their belief on me. Otherwise, to each their own.

Again, you concern yourself only with the small percentage of high-school atheists who call you names.

The rest of us DO ask for evidence when YOU demand that WE believe. If you don't demand, I won't ask. And I'm certain I speak for every single intelligent atheist out there.

No atheist is standing on the mountaintop yelling "SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE!!"

Most are quietly going on about their lives...right up until someone finds out we are atheists. After they give us that perennial look (the one that you might give someone who has just precisely farted Beethoven's Fifth), they ask us "How can you NOT BELIEVE?!?!", like believing is something so inherent to being a human that to not believe in god is like getting through life without eating.

Then we say "well, I haven't seen any evidence".

After which, jerks like you go around ranting on about "WHY ARE ATHETITS ALWAYS DEMANDING EVIDENCE???"

Why would I accept a hypothesis before knowing the evidence? That's completely illogical.

You tell us God exists -> we see no evidence -> seeing as you believe in him, we assume you must have some evidence -> we ask if you might kindly share it with us -> you don't share this apparently convincing evidence -> we don't believe.

Again, what is the problem with demanding evidence for an extraordinary claim before I believe it?

And why is faith (believing in something without evidence) a virtue?

You believe in this God, and I want to know what your justification is. If you insist on legislating and passing laws and voting based on this God I DEMAND to know what your justification is.

Same answer as the other question:

When religion goes public it becomes political. If you are to criticize me for my non-belief or use your belief system to influence public policy we're going to tangle. You are free to worship as you see fit. But if you expect me to worship your way, or in any way worship your invisible friend you will have to prove your claim.

You can ask this question any way you wish, the answer remains the same.

The request for evidence remains because none has yet to be presented while those claiming they have it continually insist they do so.

Just a suggestion, but you may want some thicker skin and get used to being criticized and/or insulted on the internet. This is going to happen no matter what you say.

I fail to see what you're confused about. We say that no evidence has ever been presented. Then we say that, if you have any evidence, show it to us so we can examine it. Then you don't show us any. Then we say that no evidence has ever been presented.

If there was any evidence, we'd stop saying there wasn't, and stop asking to see it.

Hypothesis is speculatory without testing and review......

Why would anyone care about a hypothesis,

Prove it them say "The Theory is."

Then get laughed at.

Nature does not require belief because it's real; the supernatural requires belief because it exists only in the imagination.

Are you playing the poor me game?

Stop- nobody feels sorry for you. What we are saying is "your claim is ridiculous, and we aren't going to take your word for it unless you can show us something DAMN convincing."

I don't choose not to believe it, you choose to keep claiming it. If you keep claiming it, I want to see it.

You are making this much more complicated than it needs to be.

Dude....you're falling for their crap. The devil sends his buddies to tease and confuse the believers. We will face harder tests than a bunch of punk mouthed athiests can offer. Toughen up..it's going to get worse than this..GOD BLESS YOU

It's "hypothesis". Go to school. Please? At least troll school?
