"Question: I was wondering about the advent of the civilization called Atlantis and Lemuria, the way these civilizations occurred, and where did they come from?

Ra: The civilizations of Atlantis and Lemuria were not one but two. Let us look first at the Mu entities.

They were beings of a somewhat primitive nature, but those who had very advanced spiritual distortions. The civilization was part of this cycle, experienced early within the cycle at a time of approximately 53,000 of your years ago. It was an helpful and harmless place which was washed beneath the ocean during a readjustment of your sphere’s tectonic plates through no action of their own. They set out those who survived and reached many places in what you call Russia, North America, and South America. The Indians are the descendants of these entities. Like the other incarnates of this cycle, they came from elsewhere. However, these particular entities were largely drawn from a second-density planet which had some difficulty, due to the age of its sun, in achieving third-density life conditions. This planet was from the galaxy Deneb.

The Atlantean race was a very conglomerate social complex which began to form approximately 31,000 years in the past of your space/time continuum illusion (i.e. this physical universe). It was a slow growing and very agrarian society until approximately 15,000 of your years ago. It reached quickly a high technological understanding which caused it to be able to use Intelligent Infinity in a less informative manner. We may add that they used Intelligent Energy as well, manipulating greatly the natural influxes of the indigo or pineal ray from divine or infinite energy. Thus, they were able to create life forms. This they began to do instead of healing and perfecting their souls, therefore turning their distortions towards the Negative.

Approximately 11,000 of your years ago, the first of the wars caused approximately forty percent of this population to leave the density (i.e. this physical universe) by means of disintegration of the body. The second and most devastating of the conflicts occurred approximately 10,821 years in the past according to your illusion (i.e. this physical universe). This created an earth-changing configuration and the large part of Atlantis was no more, having been inundated. Three of the positively-oriented of the Atlantean groups left this geographical locus before that devastation, placing themselves in the mountain areas of Tibet, Peru, and Turkey."

@ CC: Indeed. If he hasn't died again.

That said, there are some novels that go along with that idea, including LOTR where the civilizations in that originate from an island destroyed by a volcanic eruption which was inspired by the story of Atlantis. None of these books deal with ascended beings mind as far I know.

Atlantis is just a legend like the Great Flood. It may have a basis in some local natural disaster, but that s all. The rest is an utopia.

Actually "Atlantis" has pretty much solidly been proved to be a story based on the destruction of the Phoenician empire when a volcano blew in the Mediterranean. I believe the volcano was where Santorini is now.

This of course wiped out the Phoenicians living on what is now Santorini and also wiped out most of what was on Crete because of the huge wave that would have been taller than the island.

I think Atlantis may exist in the Spirit Realm, not the Mortal Realm -- at least not on Earth.

I've had powerful dreams that took place on a plane I can only describe as "Atlantis," based on my intuition.

These were not normal dreams.

They were of a higher category of substance.

They could have had Atlantis been a real place. I thought it was pretty obviously a utopia made up to make a political point.

There is no evidence that Atlantis ever existed.

.

.

PLATO believed in its legend, and made reference to it, as if its existence were a Given. He is said (I have never read the reference myself,) to have claimed they had advanced technology, that included flight, where their pride angered the gods, so they sank the whole island in one night.

.

.

The idle eggheads who make their musings off tales like these, FORGET that the Ancients were not STUPID: if they had neighbours and Ancestors who could FLY, they would REMEMBER them!

.

.

How could the Japan of its day just DIE, and leave no artifacts? If this was a "LESSON FROM THE GODS," people would tattoo it om their children's FOREHEADS to make sure it wasn't forgotten!

Have any archaeological proof for all this silliness?
