It's hot outside at 41 celcius. I just had a glass of ice cold water and remembered
this saying of prophet Muhammad (SAW):

" O Allah I love thee more than glass of cold water in hot season and in dire thirst !"

Muslims, do you love Allah so passionately ?

David wrote :

Muhammad said: "O Allah I love thee more than glass of cold water in hot season and in dire thirst !"

Plagiarism ? Muhammad was saying that he loves God more than water even when he's thirsty and it's hot outside. David was using a simile to compare his desire for God to the longing of a deer for water.

The difference is that Muhammad is saying in other words : "I love you more than water even when I'm thirsty and it hot outside" whereas David isn't saying he loves God more than his desire for water but he compares his desire for God to a deer's desire for water.

"And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah . But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah . And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment." (2:156)

Allah Said in Qur'an that whom he Loves and whom he doesn't love: Allah loveth the beneficent; Allah loveth not aggressors...

I should ask myself how much I'm same as the best persons he love; his favorite persons. True love is this...

That sounds like a it of plagiarism on Mohammad's part. Around 1000 BC David wrote "As the deer pants for the brook, so my soul pants for you, O God."
