This is a two part question. Old timers in life as well as on R/S.

In life I've learned to not dwell on the little things in life and to make the best of the time given us.

On R\S I've enjoyed learning about the history of mankind and what others think of it. Regardless what you think of religion it covers most if not all of our existence.

I've learned that the creator of this world has given thoughts about creating it and about the outcome of He's creation.

He knows what he want as the general outcome of his creation, but he leaves the details of the outcome to be discovered.

I hope that I'm in those details that have a positive outcome.

In life I have learned that all I can do is all I can do. I have stopped worrying about what others think of me and concern myself only with what I think of me. And that depends on my relationship with God. I have also learned that the old adage..."if it doesnt kill you it will make you strong" is true. I used to say...why me? Now I say...why not me...I can handle anything.

On R&S, I have learned that I don't understand why people without faith in God get so angry with those of us who do have faith. I have tried my best to try to see it from their point of view, but I still have not managed to find anything about our beliefs that should be a threat to them. It is their choice as to whether or not they want to hear about our faith i.e. or be on R & S. It is after all about religion and spirituality...so why are they here? If anyone can shed some light on this for me I would certainly appreciate it. I don't wish them ill...and I don't object to their decision not to believe...but I do wish I could understand them better.

Hello ((((((( Sean )))))))

I have learned that we cannot judge a book, by its cover..

Also I can understand why many here, may be turned off by Christianity.."by their fruits you shall know them"

I have gotten know and become "Friends" with many of different faiths and or thoughts here..

I have learned because of the labels, we may have put on others..Many tend to look for worst, in those that do not believe the way they do..(they tend to poke fun of others).. :(

If you just take the time, to get to know one another here..

You will find good and caring people whether they be: Atheists, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Pagans, Wiccans, Spiritualists and to others I may not have mentioned..

In Jesus Most Precious Name..

With ~Love~ In Christ.. :)

1. Life is not a merry go round. One only goes around once. Grab all you can get.

2. On R& S? That I was right all along. There MAY be one out of a hundred who is willing to have a discussion rather than a shouting match. (or better still, an all out brawl)

I've learned that hell is fictitious and that it is actually possible to escape the fundie brainwashing I was subjected to.

At 33 (46 now), I accepted that there was a God and a redeemer. Last year I accepted that salvation is universal.

3. Having enough money is essential.

4. Finding things you REALLY enjoy doing, then engineering your life so you can spend as much time doing those things, is the key to happiness.

Hi Sean.

In life I have learned that great expectations cause great sorrows. If I feel no desire I will feel no pain. Easier said than done.

On R/S, I have learned that the most moral people here do not believe in God. I never see an atheist who is a bigot.

i have learned to find the real GOD in my existence, on r&s i have learned i am the only one knowing the real GOD. My little things are of every moments and that is to be to others what the real GOD is with me, in every little things.

Don't sweat the petty stuff. Just pet the sweaty stuff.

A girl can run faster with her skirt up than a man can with his pants down.

You can be cheap, OR you can be easy. Never try to do both, it ruins your reputation.

Don't try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.

What goes up - must come down, one person's food is another person's poison, all is relative and shades of gray.

Im only 19 I have have learned in life, in all I know as I age I realize how little I knew or know.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you ever read the book of Job it states Age does not always give wisdom in all Jobs friends their was a young Man who kept silent in his tongue to let the elders speak to Job, in all they said, the Young Man spoke last and was the only one that was correct on what he was telling Job.

Curiosity has its purpose by: Einstein.

and in fact it does have its purpose its purpose is to motivate you to learn.

In life, I've learned you get out of it exactly what you put into it.

On R&S, I've learned just how unknowledgable christians are about their own belief system.

I've learned that who I am is not something that I can decide, it's something for me to discover.

Belief is just a choice one decides is true, and then covets.
