The problem is that just like in USA ( I dont know where you are from )

people assume that if you are American, that automatically makes

you Christian. NOT TRUE. We realize there are secular and religious jews..

having said that......

Christians may support the people of Israel and not necessarily

the policies. Lots of jews in Israel do not support the policies there.

You have the same problem in Israel, that you do in the USA or Egypt

for example.. crappy government policies and Big Business running the show.

Does that mean all the people should suffer, or cease to exist?

Should the whole world gang up on Egypt because they had a bad leader?

Should the whole world gang up on Egypt because a few trashy ones beat the journalists up?

edit- I would also like to comment on some of your replies to others..

the "chosen people" means chosen to deliver the Torah.

The jews will tell you that theirselves. It does not mean chosen to do whatever

they feel like or better than everyone else, but some secular jews twist it to their benefit.

Christians are " grafted in " as the bible says... and consider themselves spiritual

jews because of their faith in the God of Abraham. Jesus said salvation was unto

the jews and to keep the Commandments.

The truth of it is.. we are all sinners and dont deserve the Lord. Thats why I am

Thankful that Jesus came. He really has helped my life with His words.

@ Melkha--

you said God would not come as a man... oh really.. READ Isaiah 42:13..

" The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man".

Most Christian recognize that GOD IS ONE, Yeshua is the Lord in the flesh.

The trinity just reflects 3 purposes of the Lord. The ones who think its 3 different

beings are off in their doctrine. So now that you understand a Christian point of

view.. God is the very one who loves us enough to give us a chance and He

was the one who paid for our sins.

My dear friend, you have swallowed replacement theology - the teaching that the Jews and Israel have been replaced by the Church in the plans of God. Not so. This is absolutely not true, and if you read your Bible, you would see that the Jews have not at all been replaced by the Church in the scheme of things.

Read Paul (if you won't read the Old Testament, about God's UNCONDITIONAL promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob about 'the Land'), and you will see that he vehemently refutes this idea:

Ro 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid.

Ro 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.

Which people are these? Why, the context, starting in chapter 10, is of Paul's own people according to the flesh, the Jews.

What has happened is that God has been angry for a time, and they have come under judgement for a time, but that time does not last forever. He has not cast them off, he has just laid them aside, whilst the Gospel has borne more fruit among the Gentiles, until the time to bring the Jews to the forefront, and to favour her again, should come.

It is like this, they are his nation, his adopted nation, out of all the nations of the world, chosen because of the faithfulness of the Patriarchs. They are his 'children' - natural children, as it were 'according to the flesh' (whereas those born of the Spirit are 'according to the Spirit'). He, as a Father, has seen his natural children go astray, finally rejecting the One who came to them, just as their leaders had slain the prophets and so the Father was deeply grieved, and turned his face away from them. However, they are still his beloved children, his chosen people - nothing changes that, just as it does not change the fact that we as people will never turn away forever from our own children, nor reject them, though for a time we may be angry with them. So it is with God.

Under a curse - where does it say that? Well, even if that were true, the 'curse' will not last forever, and that does not change their election. For the promises to them were unconditional.

As regards the blessing which you say is not for 'jews' who 'did not exist at that time' - well, it was uttered to Abraham, and it was repeated to Isaac, then to Jacob, whose name was changed by the Angel of the Lord to Israel - remember? These are the Fathers of the Jews, not any other nation. Maybe you should ask yourself whose version of the truth you want to believe.

For Paul told us that, in God's economy, whereas there used to be two kinds of people in this world - Jew and Gentile (in other words, the holy people and the unholy), now there are three kinds:

still the Jew, still the Gentile, but now also the Church of God (I Cor.10:32).

We, the Church, are not in competition with the Jews, his People, we are just of another kind, for we have received the Saviour they rejected :

1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner

Well, I really dislike when people say things like this. If no one supports Israel, then it will easily fall prey to the very large amount of people that want to burn it to the ground. My family lives in Israel, therefore I have a reason to want it to be protected.

Jews are under a curse? Is that so? So am I condemned to hell for being born?

I consider myself a Jew, because my mom was born Jewish. I had a brit when I was 8 days old, and I had a Bar Mitzvah when I was 13. I am therefore Jewish, and affected by a curse apparently.

Great, I believe he existed. I believe he was a pretty cool dude. I do not believe he is/was God.

G*D disagrees with you.

Zechariah - Chapter 8

23. So said the Lord of Hosts: In those days, when ten men of all the languages of the nations shall take hold of the skirt of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."

G*D has no son but the Nation of Israel.

Shemot-Exodus 4:22 And you shall say to Pharaoh, 'So said the Lord, "My firstborn son is Israel." '

G*D said no one could die for the sins of another, Ezekiel 18:

20. The soul that sins, it shall die; a son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, and a father shall not bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

21. And if the wicked man repent of all his sins that he has committed and keeps all My laws and executes justice and righteousness, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

22. All his transgressions that he has committed shall not be remembered regarding him: through his righteousness that he has done he shall live.

23. Do I desire the death of the wicked? says the Lord God. Is it not rather in his repenting of his ways that he may live?

G*D is not a trinity. The origin of the trinity is ancient Babylon.

Scripture says G*D is 1

Devarim - Deuteronomy - Chapter 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God; the Lord is one.

Yeshayahu- Isaiah - Chapter 45:7. Who forms light and creates darkness, Who makes peace and creates evil; I am the Lord, Who makes all these.

G*D alone is the only savior

Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior.

G*D alone is the only Redeemer

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

G*D said none share his glory

Yeshayahu- Isaiah - Chapter 42:8. I am the Lord, that is My Name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to the graven images.

G*D said none sit beside him

Yeshayahu- Isaiah - Chapter 45: 5. I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God: I will strengthen you although you have not known Me.

6. In order that they know from the shining of the sun and from the west that there is no one besides Me; I am the Lord and there is no other.

Fear G*D and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiates 12:13

Shoftim - Judges - Chapter 2

1. And a messenger of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bochim and said (in God's name), "I will take you up from Egypt and I have brought you to the land that I have sworn to your forefathers and I said, 'I will not break my covenant with you forever.

Further more G*D said not to trust in man and that He would not come in the flesh of man.

Jeremiah 17:5 So says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

Scripture says G*D will not come as a man

Gosh, world population of Jews is like 16 million people. If God is not supporting them, why are they such a thorn in your paw ?

Also, Christians do plenty of things that aren't in the Bible. They brush their teeth for instance.

Sounds like you just hate the Jews. E-Mail Black Rabbit of Inle, you 2 should have loads to talk about.

Because according to some sects of Christianity the Jews have to be there for the second coming of Jesus to happen.

So basically they are supporting it so that their god will come back and then destroy the Jews and the rest of the non-believing scum.

Christians in allied nations are more likely to support Israel; and more likely to be against nations that are against their allies.

It is patriotic/nationalist, and not especially religious.
