Islam is more logical and believable. Islam came to complete the original message that Jesus preached.

It is so simple

read the Quran which promotes hate, violence and consider others as inferiors and compare it to the bible

Read the different interpretations of Quran to see how Muslims understand the Quran

Go back to history books and see how islam was invented by Muhammad based on christian heresies

Go back to history books and see how islam was spread by wars and invasion and killing others and compare it to how Christianity was spread peacefully.

Do not read from the muslim biased books or websites because they are liars and do not read from christian sources as well.

Do your own research you will find that Muslim Jesus is a big lie invented by heretic movements in the Arabia region and then Muhammad inspired this figure from them.

Islam is the way to go. You ask this question everyday. What do you do on a routinely basis in CHristinaity that is incumbent upon you? Nothing. In Islam you have the 5 daily prayers that are mandatory. It keeps a connection between you and God. The Quran is in its unaltered form. I don't get the comment made by someone who said Quran was boring. Whats that supposed to mean. Islam is more believable because lets just look at Science and Quran. Everything that is said in the Quran in relation to Quran (humans made from a clot of blood, the semen which is what causes babies, rain from the clouds, the galaxy, Big Bang) all is in the Quran and proven true. Lets say we have 80% of teh Quran. Lets say of this 80%, 100% is all proven true. The other 20% of the Quran which we cannot prove, because science has neither the technology or ability to do that, By logic we know that 20% of the quran is true. God ALLAH SWT exists, and Muhammad is his messenger.

The concept of Jesus and the Trinity is a weird and man made concept. Jesus had a holy form and a human form? and he was able to chose when to each form is just nonsense. Jesus was human being, he made mistakes, if he was God, then he could have put an end to all the suffering of his people, when he was in his Holy Form. When God becomes Human, he essentially loses the characteristics that we know him to be God as? Why would that even happen. God manifests himself in many ways, abstractly, but Human form is not one of them.

Lol, the problem with all the other answers and the question is the assumption that it is a competition and only one can be crowned winner. No no, people, Allah is bigger than that!

We've been arguing when we should be unifying. And some of the answers repeat stereotypes that are not true and some condemn the entire religion for the misdeeds of some. Hey, I am not a Christian who has joined a military and I won't and there are many Christians who do actually follow the Gospel of Christ and are indeed pacifists and will not fight or pledge allegiance to a government or nation rather than to Allah.

You should take the best from both of them and merge them together. There is a split in Christianity between those who believe Jesus was Allah, those who believe he is literal son of Allah, and a small group that understands him as metaphorical son of Allah. As metaphorical son, there is no conflict with Islam.

I am both a Christian Mormon and a Muslim, most Mormons I think believe Jesus is literal son of Allah, but I am not among them. I understand the metaphor of the Christ as Allah's son.

According to both Holy Qur'an and Book of Mormon, Allah gave prophets to all nations. Both religions also have prophecy of Jews coming to accept Jesus and of a religious convergence. Under the Muslim Mahdi millions of Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and so forth come into Islam; the Book of Mormon explains it as a convergence of all the good fruit and truthful (non-corrupted) parts of each religion coming into one. In regard to the Mahdi, the Book of Mormon says Allah will bring forth a wondrous and marvelous work that will cause kings (the rich) to shut their mouths and the learned to lose their wisdom (meaning they will realize they did not know half of what they thought they knew about Allah and his plan for us and some of those super intelligent atheists will drop and start praying too). Most Mormons, of course, do not yet understand the Muslim Mahdi is being referenced in their book and most Muslims don't understand the Mahdi does not start out a Muslim but as a Mormon, according to what is says in Revelation at the end of chapter 2 where Jesus addresses the fourth church which is divided, one part being infected with the false prophetess of Jezebel, or the Jezebel Mormons as I call them. From the good side of that church comes soneone who will overcome and rule nations, which of course matches Muslim prophecy about the Mahdi.

The Mahdi by prophecy is perplexing, will be hard for Muslims to accept at first, and resembles the children of Israel, so that's a clue right there that he does not appear to be Arab. I believe a genetic test will prove he is Mahdi and a descendant of the Hidden Imam. Of course, now you need to bring in knowledge about a holy man who came on a boat to the Toltecs in the Yucatan Peninsula (just about where the mid-trans Atlantic Ocean current dropped off Columbus in the Americas, and Columbus did remark in his journal that the people he met appeared to be Muslims, interesting huh?) and read about the legend of him and what the historians say (although it is not all accurate due to corruptions of history) and the timing is just too close...the Hidden Imam did not go into occultation, he fled the Middle East and somehow ended up on a boat and crossed the ocean. I am sure Allah guided his journey. This is how the Mahdi ends up not appearing Arab and being very hard to accept. He comes from the Americas! Oh yes, a wondrous and marvelous work Allah has done, it will teach us all a thing or two.

I have spent some time examining prophecy in Islam, Mormonism, and in Christianity (and Judaism using Old Testament) and they actually do both overlap and fit together to weave a more complete picture of what is to come, as the Book of Mormon says they should. The Qur'an in its complete details includes information that Allah gives prophets to all nations and though the religions established become corrupted over time, they do have some truth in them still. For me, that is good enough confirmation from Qur'an that I should also be reading other holy books and not rejecting other religions out right, but only the corrupted parts and bad fruit.

Write if you want to know more about how the prophecies fit together and some science that backs up some of them too. Cool stuff. Peace.

Everyone is born from submission of the womb. The word Submission means Islam.

The Word Christianity was given to them by the enemies of Jesus. So it means they follow Christ. Nothing wrong with that as long as they don't ascribe him as a begotten son, or make partners with the One and only Lord.

i am going to request you to study before you write, because your question is infantile. in actuality there can't be better than one God who's operating this wide universe. Quran says if there have been better Gods than One, there might want to were chaos interior the universe instead of cohesion and uniformity. God had to deliver diverse prophets because after some time people forgot the unique message and /or made amendments, like calling Jesus son of God. concepts you God isn't human. He won't be able to have little kids like guy. God is by technique of very definition unique and on my own. because the previous countries lost the unique scripture despatched to them by technique of God Almighty, He has finally despatched a replica of the Quran by using Gabriel to Muhammad, gradually and the unique is secure in heavens. Plus God had undertaken the responsibility that no longer a note of it would get replaced. So it has no longer replaced in 1400 years. no longer a unmarried note is diverse. Now printing press has been invented and for this reason people will proceed to have the uninterrupted preparation of Holy Scripture no better prophet will come. purely Jesus is about to seem on the international horizon. he will be certain the prophethood of Muhammad and could avenge conspiracy of his demise from Jews. ...but look, I think there is no point in asking this question here.... i mean, the Christians (Atheist etc) will say that Jesus Christ/Christianity is better..... and Muslims will say Islam is better (of course leaving you confused)....i think that you should look into both yourself and see which one makes more sense to you....

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Hello. I'm happy to see someone who is honestly seeking answers. I am an American woman who became Muslim 15 years ago. I asked many questions like yours. I had grown up in a non-religious home but it was always "assumed" we were Christian. As a young adult I studied Christianity in depth and that left me with more questions than answers. I studied Judaism, then Allah ultimately guided me to Islam.

One of the things I love most about Islam is that I can finally see Jesus, peace be upon him, as he was and as he should be known, as a miracle, a prophet and messenger, the Messiah, and a beloved slave of Allah. We Muslims accept the Virgin Birth and the fact that he was created in his mother's womb without a father, but we do not say that this makes him a deity. Just as Allah created Adam without a father or a mother, yet Adam is never considered to be God's "son".

We believe that Allah sent prophets to all the many tribes of mankind throughout history, and that Jesus was just one in a long line of prophets. He was the final prophet for Bani Israel, the Jewish people. He was rejected by the vast majority of Jews, and then the nascent religion he brought was hijaked by Saul, who became Paul. The "original" religion was belief in the Oneness of God, just as every other prophet sent by Allah had taught. This true teaching was corrupted. Instead of worshipping Allah according to the teachings of Jesus, people fell into idol worship by deifying Jesus, even though he never told anyone to do this. The original scripture he brought, the Injeel, or Gospel, was lost, and the book we have today is a compendium of books from people who never even met him, written long after he left this earth. In contrast, the Qur'an that we have today is the exact same Qur'an that was revealed to Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. The message of Tauheed, Oneness of Allah, was perfectly preserved.

It's not unusual that you feel a closer tie to Jesus than you do to Muhammad. Muhammad, after all, is a relative stranger to you. I pray that, over time, that you continue studying and learn to love Allah's final Messenger as much as I do. I am a white former christian woman of German, English, and Native heritage, yet I feel closer to Muhammad than I do to any family members or countrymen.

I recommend a book titled "Life of Muhammad" by Mohamed Haykal, for a well-written comprehensive look at his life. I think it will give you a great insight to how loving and compassionate Muhammad was.

I would love to write more but I have a fussy baby clamoring for my attention. May Allah guide you to the best in this world and the next. Ameen.

Fi Aman Allah,

Definitely Islam.

Islam.Christianity and Judaism are actually the same religion..in the sense that they are the ONLY true religion and all these three religions came from THE SAME GOD.

You said you believe Jesus existed.

Now ask yourself few questions. open both Bible and Quran. You will see Quran is absolutely right here...yes Bible is corrupted by men and that is why God had to send Muhammad as His final messenger. And He promised He will protect Quran from all kind of corruption.

If you compare the concept of God in both Islam and Christianity, you will see Christianity doesnt make any sense.God doesnt need any son, He doesnt need to come on earth to guide people.

Anyways, its all up to God.If he wishes, you will be guided to the straight path.

I pray that God opens up your heart. Ameen

1. religious text in and of themselves require to let go of modern logic, today we can not logically comprend noah living over 600 years. so i can't advise a logical arguement

2. which is more believable is a question only you can answer, billions of people find them nearly equally believable as much of the essenence of the texts are similar, but seperate on key issues

3. see question 2

4. Muslim Jesus was a man, a prophet who came to deliver the message of God he did not die but taken to heaven by God. I do not know specifically what Muslims believe he taught other than they say the same message as Muhammed.

Christian Jesus died for your sins, died on the cross, and was resurrected. He is God in human form. Jesus preached peace and love, he even forgave those that killed him, he never killed anyone.

Both believe in Jesus performing miracles.

5. Which religion to follow is entirely personal, go with your heart and what you believe to be right. If someone tries to tell you that it is only one why or the other, do not be afraid to continue your research, this will be doctrine to which your life will follow. Find the key differences, and if one is believable to you go foward, who knows maybe your answer isn't within either of these.

A person will tell you their religion is more logical, proof in science, and its true because the book says its true. Both texts have these qualities, or else we would only have one religion. The only thing I am certain of is God gave me a brain, and I use it for all things including religion.

EDIT: Debbi I aren't too scared, I went on that site it's propaganda, it twists things around to make them seem bad, it is promoting hate and accusing a good man of many sins and calling him many names and using false hadith's and false passages from the Quran...

Logical - Islam, since the message is probably a lot simpler and the concept of "One God" is more straightforward.

Believable - Islam, as Christianity seems to be much more influenced by other religions and belief systems at the time.

Soul-grasping - Christianity. The Gospels were much more sublime and moving than the somewhat-boring Qur'an.

Muslim Jesus - The "Son of God" thing makes little sense to me.

Neither, I'm an agnostic.

Islam is the religion of logic and God.

Muslims are more religious and Christians don't care if they upset God.

Cephas: Your comment is stupid and is of pure ignorance. You talk of Muhammad not being a "book" person, He memorized Gods words even though he could not read. Turn off the computer and read a book to feed you nonintellectual mind.

The word "Islam" itself means "Submission to Allah." The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of "Christianity" which was named after Jesus Christ, "Buddhism" after Gutama Buddha , "Marxism" after Karl Marx, and "Confucianism" after Confucius.

Similarly, Islam is not named after a tribe like "Judaism" after the tribe of Judah and "Hinduism" after the Hindus. The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the will of the only true god worthy of worship, "Allah" (known as God "the Father" in Christianity).

Anyone who does indeed submit to the will of Allah as required by Islam is termed a "Muslim," which means one who has submitted to the will of Allah. Many people in the West have developed the sad misinformed trend of calling Islam "Muhammadenism" and it's followers "Muhammadins." This is a totally foreign word to Muslims and unrecognized by them. No Muslim has ever called his religion "Muhammadenism" or called himself a "Muhammadin."

What Is The Basic Concept of Islam?

Islam teaches us that this life is a life of worship. We are placed on this earth in order to worship Allah and obey His command. During this earthly life we are subjected to a series of trials. We have the option of enduring these trials and conforming to certain laws, and our reward will be great in the next life, or we may decline to endure these trials and choose to not conform to the law, then we will be made to regret it in the next life.

Each person will be solely and completely responsible for their own final reward. We are also told that God has designed these laws to make this life a better, safer, and more tolerable one for us. If we elect to conform to them then we will see the result in this life even before moving on to the next.

We are told that the earthly life is a life of faith and work, and the next life is one of reward and no work. We have been placed on this earth to worship GOD

Please, ask yourself, how can God have a son? God will lose his uniqueness!!

Please, ask yourself, why is it man's responsibility to change the Bible annually? Is God's word not perfect???

Please, ask yourself, why must you be pacifist to be a Christian? Name one Christian army that followed this rule!

Please, ask yourself, why do you see Christian women walking around in clothes that look like underwear??

Islam is truth. Christianity is the myth created by man. Muhammad (PBUH) has taught so much! Please visit your local mosque; learn of Islam. It is of peace, not war!

Christianity has been changed, Islam has not been for 1500 years!

Please look to Islam.

Qur'an 4:171 O People of the Book, exceed not the limits in your religion nor speak anything about Allah, but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, is only a (1) messenger of Allah and His word which He communicated to Mary and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you. Allah is only one God. Far be it from His glory to have a (2) son. To Him belongs (3) whatever is in the earth. And sufficient is Allah as having charge of affairs.

1) Mo-ham-mad proclaimed that Jesus Christ is only a messenger.

Correction: Jesus Christ was not a message boy for the false god Allah.

John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst."

John 8:18 "I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me."

2) Mo-ham-mad proclaimed that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God.

Correction: Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Proverbs 30:4 Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, If you know?

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

1 John 2:22-23 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

3) Mo-ham-mad proclaimed that Allah owns everything.

Correction: Jesus Christ is in control and owns everything.

Psalm 2:7-8 "I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.'"

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth."

Colossians 1:17 And He is before all things, and in Him (Christ) all things consist.

Conclusion: Mo-ham-mad is a antichrist and was not a "book" person.
