Not in any way that's actually important. I once got removed from a website called Wondir (along with many other atheist members) for no reason. It eventually came out that we'd been removed by a group of theists who didn't like us, and reported us to death. I got reinstated, though.

Other than that, I feel pretty able to say what I want to. People may disagree about Y!A, but I've never gotten a violation notice for anything related to atheism (and I think I've only gotten one ever, which was taken back). In my experience, being polite usually prevents people from lashing out *too* harshly. I get some nasty emails, but that's not censorship.

Everything is censored, censorship of atheists is nothing special.

People only complain about censorship when it's their interest group that's being censored, for your argument have any significance you have to take a stance against all censorship, in all it's forms.

I was suspended twice from University because I disagreed with a Philosophy Professor and showed him up in class .

I am frequently reported on here when I make statements that show Islam is a vile religion .

I have been shunned by neghbors for participating in activities they felt were sinful by religious standards .

Dellicious cubed ... I have also noticed that lately ... The coffee break ! It seems like Key Words will cause that to come up . If you delete certain words you can post and then add them in Edit .

My wife works for a BIG company that is Christian owned . She feels the "need" to keep her non-beliefs quiet at times .

EDIT ... Gee a thumbs down ! I wonder who that is from ??? Maybe a MUSLIM because I said "vile" in my answer ? LOL .

My country is pretty atheistic, on the whole, so I do not really need to feel censored. But even so, religious people seem to develop a sense of "superior morality" which can be very annoying at times.

All the time. I can't tell you how many times theists have asked my opinion and when I give it to them they tell me I'm going to hell. I've lost a job because I was an atheist and asked someone to stop sending Jesus spam to me though company email. The boss said that "my kind wasn't welcome." No one has directly come up to me and said you can't say that, but censorship by intimidation is still censorship.

i've got under no circumstances met a militant Atheist. I rather have in spite of the shown fact that seen militant Christians. they choose to break and rid of nonbelievers, gays, and different religions. Atheist are in basic terms worried approximately Chrisitans' closed mindedness and attractiveness why they are able to't think of for themselves and come across different issues. Christians in basic terms take somebody's be conscious for it (occasion their mom and pa) and have self belief.

It happens all the time on YA Answers - violations and thumbs down are the Christians favorite weapons.

But we take heart from Elizabeth Kenny who said "He who angers you, conquers you." and realize that they cannot cope with the truth and in using a violation have in fact surrendered to the argument!!

I get censored for giving historical answers because they contradict the xian beliefs. They call it being rude and yahoo upholds the xian view.

No, not really. But I have heard of when of one my old friend going to a youth group and it got out she was bisexual and the leader told the whole place and that they needed to pray for god to "Correct" her. I found that highly offensive.

Always. I lack a lot of tact and am very arrogant. I'm also very confrontational. I feel like I am always walking on thin ice when I say something.

It happens now and then but I don't let it worry me. They can't un-say it.

I cant tell you how many questions I havent been able to post because Yahoo was "on a coffee break"

Now the server may have been backed up, but I was able to post simple questions minutes later with no problem

I have answered questions on evolution and had my answers deleted because the question was supposed to be unanswerable.
