Question:
Why do Christians support, or at least not condemn, the murder of homosexuals?

I had never heard this before I moved to the USA, I didn't believe that it was true. I have never heard a Catholic say something so vile before, only Protestants.

But whenever a homosexual male is murdered Christians always see it as the homosexuals fault. They naturally assume that it was justified and that the gay person was probably asking for it by making unwanted sexual advances.

Okay? So what if the homosexual was making unwanted advances? I have a gay male friend who gets hit on by women all the time, I used to hit on him before I knew he was gay. Does that give him the right to murder me or any other female? Or is it only justified when the murdered person was a homosexual?

I don't understand this logic, but every single time a homosexual is murdered and it's in the news I hear Christians saying vile things. They may not out right say that it was okay for him to be murdered, but they'll say that they understand and that the person should get off easy in court. But if a gay man ever murdered a straight woman for hitting on him they would never say that they "understood" or that it was justified.

Why?

they can only rationalize their intolerance, and blame it on god ... they don't have a reasonable explanation ...

What? That's crazy!

Maybe you've just come across some very sick, hypocritical people who call themselves Christians.

I am a Christan, and I have never once had such a cruel thought. As a Christian, I personally believe that homosexuality is a sin, but, as it is CLEARLY stated in the Bible, all sins are equal, all have sinned, and that all of us deserve death for our sins. But for some reason, people's understanding of the sin of homosexuality has been severely skewed.

Homosexuality is no greater a sin than lying or lusting after someone. But since all sins are equal, that means that homosexuality is also as serious a sin as murder or cursing God.

The Bible also clearly states that bad things don't happen to people because of a certain sin they committed. So, bad things don't happen to gay people simply because they've committed the sin of homosexuality. It says that bad things happen to all people, good and bad, because the world corrupt...due to the original sin of Adam and Eve. Bad things happen to the best and worst of us because that's just the way life is.

So, i'm appalled that anyone who calls themselves a Christian would suggest that the murder of a homosexual is okay simply because he/she was gay. That is not what my Bible says, and certainly not what my God teaches.

The true Christian faith can be summed up in these verses:

Romans 3:23

Romans 6:23

Romans 5:8

Romans 10:9-10

Romans 10:13

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Christ died for ALL of us. Not just a select few.

So basically, these so called "Christians" you've encountered need to read their Bible more in depth.

I apologize on their behalf.

I hope my answer helped. :)

Christian logic states that it is justified for a straight man to kill a gay man making unwanted advances. Using this same logic, as a gay man, I should be able to kill women who hit on me. I get hit on by women ALL the time and it makes me uncomfortable. I hope if I ever kill a woman for hitting on me that Christians come to my defence, because I had the right to kill her because she was making unwanted advances.

Truth is, Christians would never support that, they would only support the murder of a gay person because being gay, they obviously were asking for it. Christians are some of the most vile, disgusting creatures to roam this planet.

I am Christian and do not condone murder of anyone. Nor do any of the thousands of Christians I know. You are making a sweeping statement that you just cannot back up. Where do you live that there are that many gay men murdered and CHristians saying they deserve it? While it may have happened any number of times (I don't know) It is not the norm for Christians in the U.S. to condone murder. Also, does everyone introduce themselves as a Christian before they speak?

First, you do no longer comprehend the Bible. nutritional regulations have been given to Jews by no skill to non-Jews. Gentiles could consume as plenty shell fish as they wanted. Prohibitions against homosexuality are no longer got here across only in Leviticus. Their are a number of mentions interior the hot testomony. to boot the observe "fornication" interior the hot testomony refers to sexual acts outdoors of marriage. The Bible no the place says that priest could be celibate. that could be a rule of the Roman Catholic church.

Because religion breeds hatred and anger that is unjustified. A person isn't born with hate. They are taught it.

Pfft. We gays have it easy under Christianity.

If I said "I am a gay man" in Iran (99 percent Muslim) I would be killed by the government.

Everything you said was bullshit because you pose no facts to back up your shyt. Real Christians don't support killings of anyone regardless of who they are sunshine. You ruined my day.
