Bible (Matthew 10:34) - Jesus said : "Do not think I came to put peace upon the Earth; I came to put, not peace, but a sword"

Islam (Narrated by Ahmad from Umar) : Muhammad said : "I was sent before the Hour with the sword so that God is worshipped alone with no partners with Him"

............Very similar ?

As-salamu alaykum,

The sword they came with was knowledge, correct?

@Joe; God is unique, right?

so God being all unique... then why would He lower His self to our level.. making Him equal with us...

that would make Him not unique anymore....

i wonder when logic will come back.

Jesus and Muhammad are the most talk about human beings in this world. People mentioned his names so many times in a day. Most gave them their humble respect with good blessing but few will insult and exchange hatred for him with no direct insult from that very men.

This is the society that people were breed with poor quality moral institution. You may insult any Christian or Muslim for that purpose of joy. Incriminating Jesus or Muhammad with lack of solid evidence is what some of these people were doing. Was this science hypothesis way to incriminate religion? Without a legitimate evidence of fact? Science must be a corrupted institution that taught his student to be badly behave in public area.

There is a need to make religion part of system in society or the people will behave like animals.

Huge difference between the sword swung in Truth and one swung in murder. The sword of Truth slays the ignorance while the sword of murder slays the ignorant.

Early Christianity spread by the Love and Grace of the Spirit while early Islam was spread only by the threat of murder if you didn't accept it. It was devised solely for the founding of an empire of the worldly while Christianity was established solely for the founding of an empire of Spirit and not of this world.

I doubt Mohammed will know peace while he is still under the karma of all the hell he spread on earth if as you sow so shall you reap.

Jesus never condoned killing anyone. The sword was a representation of the division he will cause as some will accept him while others will deny him. Please read verse 35.

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

When the disciple cut off the soldiers ears Jesus put it back on, he was not in support of violence towards others.

Luke 22:49 When Jesus' followers saw what was going to happen, they said, "Lord, should we strike with our swords?" 50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.

51 But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him.

similar, but the differences are huge. Muhammad' sword is a physical sword that is designed to physically harm those he puts it against. however Jesus' sword is a spiritual sword, far sharper than any normal sword it is able to cut right to the spirit of a person calling them to change. knowing what his sword would bring to those who accept the change to righteousness by those that didn't is the reason he said he didn't come to put peace upon the Earth, as those who followed him would end up being persecuted by those who rejected him.

reliable element, indexed decrease than are another factors additionally that teach him authentic Prophet of Allah almighty. Holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, advance into an illiterate, orphan the main harmless and risk free guy or woman interior the society, in his youthful age. He advance into no longer son of a king like Buddha. So all his such traits teach that he advance right into a real Prophet of Allah almighty, the holy Qura'n is the Revelation of Allah. As he advance into no longer in place to envision and write, he never examine any e book like holy Bible or Torah etc.

No similarity whatsoever.

Jesus is God. Muhammad was not. Jesus rose from the dead, proving He is God. Muhammad is still dead in the ground.

Christ didn't mean we should use the sword as means of killing everyone who didn't believe but that he knew that what he was saying would bring contention into the world. Anyway he looked at it there were a whole bunch of people that would be opposed to his whole premise.

Totally different! Read the verses you supplied, the words in just those verses.

The sword that Jesus brought was for freedom and choice. Muhammad's was for domination.

That's why we love Jesus, love Him more than life.

.

For I have come to turn

" 'a man against his father,

a daughter against her mother,

a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law -

a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'

"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

The Holy Bible is a spiritual book with many hidden meanings and messages contained therein.

Many times in the bible the word of God speaks of something natural to give example of something spiritual. The commandments of God are given naturally, however they mean something deeper, something spiritual.

However, when we follow the spiritual (heavenly) meaning of the commandments, the bible does not contradict itself.

In conclusion, the bible cannot be properly followed by interpreting it naturally (earthly). We must search for the heavenly (spiritual) meanings contained in the bible.

Muhammed ( may he rot in hell ) : Kill unbelievers wherever you find them.. and then bring their women back to be sex slaves.
