why is the philosophy now ? you have to win many more. You think about success. your services are needed to this world. complete all works. Forget the death. if you did good there is no death to you and you will live in the heart of millions. no death to good and service minded personalities. who said the death is inevitable? The death is only to the beautiful structure of the body only and not to the individual Athma. it lives long. ok..
Practically speaking, we born free. That is a beginning. we know fully well that if there is a beginning, surely there will be an end. who is worrying about the end? if they worry who robberies, why theft, why aggression, and why jealousy? when we born free, we don't know anything. some weeks later, we know mother, and the mother introduces father and we came to know slowly to know the world and living personalities. we know good and bad.
Therefore, there is no end to a good personality. He/She lives long in the heart of the society.

No. Life and everything we know will last and continue on forever. Such is the way of all things, isn't it?
And if not, chances are you'll quit working long before the universe does. At least, that's where I'm placing my money... Not on people in general. Just you. You specifically.

The universe isn't a living organism on this planet.

Yep. But don't worry, you'll be dead and gone. Even the memory of you will be gone. Even the memory of the people who will remember you will be gone. Likly the Earth will be gone. Even the distance memory of the Earth will be gone. I'm talking billions and trillions of years from now. Or maybe just next week.

Yes, in about 5 billion years for our Sun but I don't know about the Universe, but I don't think we will have to worry.
