Is God Real or is he just fake?

Question

I think I have settled down a bit, putting in science in the equation I realized it is very possible that the universe does not require a god because the total energy of the universe is 0 (what I heard) because the positive and the negative energy balances eachother out.

I am starting to think that it is impossible to disprove god, and I'm debating whether he is real or not. How can science disprove god when god, if he is fake, always has the upperhand because people can change who he is.

I'm really starting to debate if god is real or not, and I am fighting with myself inside to chose one or the other. Because if god is real, then I'll burn in hell forever, but if he isn't I'm just wasting my time. Its like a lose lose really if we don't discover the truth.

I also observed past relegions, where people would hold to them till death, like Zeus, the egyptian gods, the hindu gods, etc. I also observed that people may have created relegion to calm people down and keep them orderly and not worry about things so much, thinking that things are better on the other side. I also observed the money side of it, where people donate huge sums to The church of scientoligy, chruches, synagogues, temples, etc.

With all the scientifict facts and theories, and human nature I say it is a high chance there is no god

And on the other hand, how could all this stuff happen without god? And how are we put into this body randomly and not someone elses?

Judging on the basis of how vast the entire universe is, I say it is very likely that life had to occur on just 1 planet, and lucky us it was earth.

With supporting evidence on both sides, we all know that when it boils down to the truth only 1 is right.

Anybody have any suggestions on what you think on if you think god is real or not, and why? And if you can point me to any websites that would be great. Thank you all!

Though I will never understand a full atheists perspective on this question I can tell you from a Christian standpoint that god is real. Look around you, it is impossible for all of the universe to have just somehow gone into the pattern that it has and though none of it makes sense someone or something had to have made it that way. God doesn't want the violence that man creates but he won't stop us from it completely. He gave us free will to choose how we wanted to live and do things. This means we all have a choice in the mistakes we make and the things we do to other people. And yes I know it's hard to wrap your mind around something that is as confusing as that but faith isn't about understanding it's about believing. So though there are always going to be non-believers in this world it is the believers duty to help steer them onto the right path and keep them there. I'm not saying that you have to go to church I'm just saying that god is to good to ignore.

Okay so I'm sorry if my answer is too long for you. But I can not really answer all your questions because you are the one that needs to answer them yourself. I have not read any of the answers but i bet a few will open your mind.



Let me start by telling you my belief and why. I think that there is a God out there somewhere;however, it does not have to be Jesus or anything from the bible. I also do not believe in the bible it is very contradicting and it is written by humans, who make mistakes.

I believe this because it just felt really passionate about all these thing in religion. It was hard to find the religion i belonged to and i have found out i don't belong to any. I have my beliefs and im am truly happy.



When it comes to heaven and hell, I am living my life being a good person to others I enjoy life but i am not a total savage. If there is a heaven or a hell then so be it. I do not believe that I am a bad enough person to go to hell and I truly can't tell you anything for on the matter because I myself have to see it to believe it. And if there is a hell i wouldn't mind going as long as God has answered my question of "Why everything".



My advice is read the bible choose what you believe and that is your religion take parts of other beliefs make it your own or if you go to a christian, catholic, or another church and like it then so be it.

It is your choice don't let your friend, family, teacher or anyone change your opinion; just remember its YOUR life, YOUR religion.

Ok one attribute of God is that he is the Creator of life. If it can be proved that there is a Creator of life, then this proves God is real right? We need three things: first the fact that proof is either a direct proof, or an indirect proof. An indirect proof is to prove that the opposite is impossible. Second we need a scientific answer. Now something is scientific because it is a situation that has repeatable results independent of the person performing the experiment. Third we need an analogy and the analogy is that animation (like that of machines), independent of outside physical forces ( a flood moving a rock is an example of an outside physical force) is an analogy of life.



The opposite view of God the creator is that there is not Creator and life just burst on the scene spontaneously. If this is true, then we should be able to prove it by saying seeing if animation of any sort is possible without an intelligent force acting on an inanimate object. The only example we have of animation is that of machines. Tell me does anything else that was originally inanimate start moving independent of outside physical forces, with connecting internal parts that support this movement, on its own without some intelligent force acting upon it to make it so? What can you prove without you yourself being the intelligent force acting upon inanimate objects? You can only prove that inanimate objects will act in conjunction with each other to move independent of outside physical forces only if an intelligence brought these objects together. This proves that life is a creation of a Creator. The Creator we call God.

And as for the whole God thing, I believe that the judaeo,christian, islamic God does not exist but as for just some god that lives out there somewhere, he mustve given up on us a long time ago.

Read the bible. u decide. i believe GOD is real. He is the reason your heart is beating @ this very second. I love him more than anything in the entire universe. ever felt like something was missing??? Yea....its faith. ITS JESUS CHRIST. Give it a spin. Try church. No one can force u. And think about it.Really. The only people that did do and will always TRULY care about you is YOU AND GOD...and i guess maybe your parents too. NOT your girlfriend.NOT your dog. NOT even your BEST FRIEND!! ASK QUESTIONS too. I do know that some humans are always seeking a higher cause a purpose,However some don't need that sense of security.

The entire universe does operate by a specific set of laws, not all of which have been discovered. If some choose to call this set of laws a 'god' and endow this 'god' with human attributes to make it more comfortable... and it helps them without harming others... then that's fine with me.
