Question:
so many questions and still no answers! please help me.?

I have so many questions that keep popping into my head about Christianity. I want to become a Christian so badly. I want to feel certain that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that I will go to Heaven and yet I don't. I know in my head (from years of bible classes) that its all true but i dont feel it in my heart.
I feel so uncertain like God isn't there and he wants nothing to do with me when I cry out for him.
I have gone to Christian private school pretty much all my life and I have undoubtedly taken that all for granted and gone against God. Can turning to Christ really make up for all that time wasted? Which leads me to is the earth really ending in a few years?
I have done so many bad things in my past and present such as lying, listening to very unChristian-like music, watching un-Godly shows and even maturbation, and the list keeps going.
My questions include: How can i become a Christian for real? Will God really forgive me for all I have done? Do I need to really turn away from everything I do now (such as books I read, people i hang around, places i go, etc) to be a true Christian? How can I find real faith in my heart that Jesus died on the cross and God exists?
I am so completely lost and afraid that God may give up on me in a few days for being so un-Christian and I truly dont want to go to hell. i have this feeling over me each night as i go to sleep that i wont wake up in the morning and I am so scared yet i dont feel or hear God's answer.
Please can someone answer my questions and i think i really need some prayers in this dark time.
I know i wrote a lot but i am just so lost and i cant find anyone to turn to but here.

How can i become a Christian for real?

Accept God into your life and ask him to come in.

Will God really forgive me for all I have done?

God will forgive you if you ask. Were you ever baptized? Baptism shows that you have given your life to God and your sins will be washed away.

Do I need to really turn away from everything I do now (such as books I read, people i hang around, places i go, etc) to be a true Christian?

Turning away from all that will help you become a stronger Christian. But you also have to remember everyone is a sinner and no one is perfect except Jesus when he was here on earth as one of us. You also have to remember that God will reward you on your deeds. Pray to God every Moment you can and he will answer your prayers.

How can I find real faith in my heart that Jesus died on the cross and God exists?

Look at all the good that has happened in your life compared to others who had it much worse then you. I know he exists because my life is always better when I pray to him. The times I don't my life becomes hectic. He has done so much for me as he will do for you. Read online the many miracles that happen because of God. Miracles, I mean that is humanly impossible but through Christ it has been done. Let God know how you feel and that you want him to use you. Tell him how much you mean to him and how much you want to do for him. Go out and do good deeds on his behalf. Bring others to God. There are so many ways to please God and you will notice a difference when you do. Do as what was asked of us and you will find out that he does exists.

All the events that are taking place show that the time of the second coming is near. So near that you will notice great events taking place the next few years. Always be ready because your time could be tomorrow, today or even in the next few minutes. Prayer is key.

God hears your cries. When we feel distance between us and God you can bet we put it there. We are our own worst enemies. Yes, God will forgive you, to quote Jeremy Camp "He will take you back". It does not matter what you have done if you have a truly humble and repenting heart. It is understanding the waste of time and poor stewardship of what He has given you, that will help you stay on the path. If you are reading something or watching something that does not feel right it probably isn't. That is the Holy Spirit speaking to you, that still small voice, reminding you that the eyes are the window to the soul. But, Christ doesn't expect and infant to come out running, you are still a baby in your faith and He only asks you to take the first step. As you grow in your faith there will come a time when He will expect you to trust Him more, and you will give up the things your holding onto that come between you and Him. But, you wont see it as giving up, but discarding something you no longer need. These things are material, and of no real substance, people on the other hand are different and He will expect you one day to witness for Him especially to the people you hang out with. Then you will find true friends. You wont leave them because of God, but they may leave you. Some people are not ready to see their convictions before them. And, your very presence will do that, because you will have the light of God in you. All you can do then is pray. We don't know if the world will end tonight, tomorrow, or in the next minute. So, we need Christ now, don't put it off any longer. The Holy Spirit has been speaking to you, answer Him. Ask, Christ into your heart, confess Him as Savior and believe He has paid the price. Tell God you want Him to change your heart, and to give you a deep abiding love for Christ, and He will. Ask Him to use you and He will. Like any relationship when you want to know someone you have to spend time with them. So, set aside time everyday, the best part of your day. If your a morning person make at breakfast, if you more with it at mid day then make it noon, or evening you get my point. Take this time and spend 15 minutes with God alone in His Word. Pray for understanding of it and He will help you. Spend another 15 minutes in prayer. After awhile you will have to make sure you set aside time for other things instead of for God, because it will become a part of you and what you do together. Get into a good Bible teaching, Christ centered church. Pray about this and the Spirit will lead you where you need to be. If they do not teach from the Bible, so you can follow along, and do not center on Christ don't go back! As I said trust the Spirit He will lead you. So there you go, that's how you start the life. That is how you choose the path. And, there's the catch it's your choice, God wont do it for you, and all I can do is give you directions, the turns you make are yours. Good luck and I pray you will find your way, I pray God will touch your heart to the truth and build your faith on solid ground. In Jesus name, Amen, Amen. Blessings to you and if you have further questions or need help write me. If you have said the prayer welcome sister, if not come home soon I pray.

Jenna, does it not strike you as strange that you have been to a christian private school for most of your life - and yet you have so many unanswered questions?!

I was raised a catholic and went to church every sunday, etc, yet was left unfulfilled until 2 very kind people came to my door one day and showed me from the bible, all my questions answered! Would you like the same thing to happen? If you are interested, I can only say to email me.

Do you know that we are imperfect? Therefore sin every day of our lives, yet your Creator loves you very much and wants you to get to know Him and His Son, Jesus.

Sweetie, we have all done things that are terrible, but believe it or not, the fact that you feel guilty is a great sign! Jesus said that he came here for sinners. He describes himself as a doctor, who does not have well people for his patients.

Jenna, there is no need for fear. Just because you do not feel or hear God's answer, does not mean He hasn't heard you! Do you know, for example, that your Creator knows you better than you know yourself? This means that He is already aware of what is going on. This is probably why you have come on here posing this question. Now it is up to you to reach out and get to know your Creator.

Please look at my profile, ok and give us a go.

Jenna - you and many people have only been told a bit of the gospel.

Yes Jesus died for our sins, but, unless you receive His Life, His Spirit you are just going to carry on in sin!

God hasn't just said "I forgive sin" .. . some people would use this as an excuse to sin even more!

No, God has given POWER over sin, something better.

You ned to do as the disciples did and receive His Spirit, when you do you will speak in tongues - God leading you in prayer according to his wonderful will for you (1 Corinthians 14:2, 4). This will minister his love to you (Jude 20-21).

Always start with your Creator.

God wants to hear from you directly. The first step in becoming an authentic Christain is to be open with the source of your faith. Start with God and ask for wisdom and discernment.

Many people will stir you the wrong wany in their attemp to lead you to God. You can no longer rely on people - you must put your trust in God and the best step in doing this is to study and follow the examples of Christ. Fix your eyes on Jesus - He is the author and perfector of your faith (not man) put all of you trust in Christ.

Read the Bible starting with Proverbs - then read the book of John. always ask for wisdom and understanding from your Source of creation which is God. By doing this, the right people who are meant to assist you in your life joureny will show up.

Love & Light!

Its about faith, we have pretty much no physical proof that Jesus existed in reality yet, so as far as that goes i can't really help you there.

all you have to do is accept Jesus christ as the son of god (the true messiah) and now that he sacrificed himself so that as long as we seek to better ourselves and try and do right (and of course ask for forgiveness) we are forgiven.

About changing your life, honestly just try and be a good person. Jesus hung out with prostitutes and "bad" people so he could set a good example for them ( he did preach but his teachings were gentle nudges to be better and love each other equally)

in the end, go by your sense of "right" and "wrong"

Hello Jenna!

When you said, you need God you may not realize that it's not from you that feeling of missing God was, but God compelled it in your heart. He's looking for you badly and now you're looking for Him.

So I could tell you God loves you so much- that you're looking for Him.

Don't worry Jenna, always pray in the morning and thank God in the night. Help the poor people or the unfortunate you know...

Please keep this passage for you-Jesus wants us to enter heaven, He even wants to help the Samaritan woman who had married for 5 times (in John 8). Please take a look at John 8, while the following is for you :

John 14 (Contemporary English Version)

John 14

Jesus Is the Way to the Father

1Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in me. [a] 2There are many rooms in my Father's house. I wouldn't tell you this, unless it was true. I am going there to prepare a place for each of you. 3After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together. 4You know the way to where I am going." 5Thomas said, "Lord, we don't even know where you are going! How can we know the way?"

6"I am the way, the truth, and the life!" Jesus answered. "Without me, no one can go to the Father. 7If you had known me, you would have known the Father. But from now on, you do know him, and you have seen him."

8Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father. That is all we need."

9Jesus replied:

Philip, I have been with you for a long time. Don't you know who I am? If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. How can you ask me to show you the Father? 10Don't you believe that I am one with the Father and that the Father is one with me? What I say isn't said on my own. The Father who lives in me does these things.

11Have faith in me when I say that the Father is one with me and that I am one with the Father. Or else have faith in me simply because of the things I do. 12I tell you for certain that if you have faith in me, you will do the same things that I am doing. You will do even greater things, now that I am going back to the Father. 13Ask me, and I will do whatever you ask. This way the Son will bring honor to the Father. 14I will do whatever you ask me to do.

The Holy Spirit Is Promised

15Jesus said to his disciples:

If you love me, you will do as I command. 16Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help [b] you and always be with you. 17The Spirit will show you what is true. The people of this world cannot accept the Spirit, because they don't see or know him. But you know the Spirit, who is with you and will keep on living in you. 18I won't leave you like orphans. I will come back to you. 19In a little while the people of this world won't be able to see me, but you will see me. And because I live, you will live. 20Then you will know that I am one with the Father. You will know that you are one with me, and I am one with you. 21If you love me, you will do what I have said, and my Father will love you. I will also love you and show you what I am like.

22The other Judas, not Judas Iscariot, [c] then spoke up and asked, "Lord, what do you mean by saying that you will show us what you are like, but you will not show the people of this world?" 23Jesus replied:

If anyone loves me, they will obey me. Then my Father will love them, and we will come to them and live in them. 24But anyone who doesn't love me, won't obey me. What they have heard me say doesn't really come from me, but from the Father who sent me.

25I have told you these things while I am still with you. 26But the Holy Spirit will come and help [d] you, because the Father will send the Spirit to take my place. The Spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of what I said while I was with you. 27I give you peace, the kind of peace that only I can give. It isn't like the peace that this world can give. So don't be worried or afraid.
