When the Bible uses the word "jealous" to describe God they are not referring to the idea of jealousy or envy. It refers to the idea that God does not stand for humans worshiping any God but Him as there are no other gods, only idols and false worship.
God does not condone slavery as He did not create an enslaved human being, only a free one.
No, this is a sin as the Bible says the human body is the temple of God. God is not into self mutilation.
There were not 1,000,000 people molested by priests. Certainly molestations have happened but most priests are people of integrity who only want to serve God.
The Bible is not a science text but, where it intersects with scientific fact, it is accurate.
Life on other worlds is not mentioned in the Bible.
Satan is not more powerful than God. There is nothing that is more powerful than God.
No.
Believe in what?
Faith is the belief in something that cannot be seen, felt, or heard. Faith can be subjective but it is not a delusion.
The Bible clearly says over and over that those who are to come to Christ will come to Christ. "...even as He chose us before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before HIm. In love He predestined us as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of HIs will, to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3b-6" (Read all of Ephesians 1 for more information.) So, yes, I would still be a Christian even if I were born in Pakistan.
God is equally just to all human beings regardless of how other humans view their sins. Everyone sins and God sees sins that we view as unimportant as sin none the less. If Hitler had honestly and earnestly repented of his sins before he died God would have HAD to forgive him because God said that He would. If the "really great guy" never repents of his sins and asks God for forgiveness than he would go to hell--not because he was a murderer or a rapest--but because he was an unrepentent sinner who God had never forgiven because the guy had never repented and asked for forgiveness.
What I have is a religion based on absolute justice for all no matter what. Also, a religion based on a love so deep, wide, and all consuming that the God of the universe would take on the form of a being that He created, allow His creation to torture and kill Him, all so the penalty of our sins could be paid for by HIm so we didn't have to pay for them ourselves. All it takes for anyone to have freedom from sin, forgiveness, and eternity with God is for us to believe, repent, and ask for forgiveness. Only our pride and arrogance separates us from an eternity with God. Why anyone would choose his own way, and hell, over God's way, and heaven, is beyond me.
