I'm doing an estimation about how many of the yahoo answers users are LDS. if you are please answer this question by putting I am and answering these questions: before it was changed, what age did girls have to be to go on a mission? what age now? how long is a bishop a bishop? only doing this to make sure you are not lying. thanks!

There are likely up to a half-dozen active LDS online during most times. I'm home today, mostly because my wife is recovering from surgery, but otherwise, I'd be at church.

The age for girls to go on missions changed from 21 to 19 as was announced by President Monson at the last conference. Two of my daughters went on missions a number of years ago, when the age was 21.

A bishop's tenure varies but unless there are extenuating circumstances, five to seven years is normal. A relief society president generally serves for less time (my oldest daughter is currently serving in that capacity), but some, like bishops, have served for longer.

There are Mormons on Yahoo Answers who never answer Mormon Questions, and there are some who answer both LDS questions and who answer other Non-LDS related questions, and

there are still other Latter Day Saint answerers who only answer LDS related questions on Yahoo Answers.

Most legit Latter Day Saints have their previous questions and answers and their network public.

If they don't, if it is Private and they claim they are LDS, then that is a Red Flag. This does not mean that they are not a Mormon, but having a Private Yahoo Answers Account is definitely a sign that someone is a Troll possibly with bad intentions (perhaps to defame or to lead others astray using deception as the means of doing that).

So a good idea is to look at a users previous questions, and/or look at who they are Fans of or who is Fans of them.

Really hard to say how many Yahoo Answerers are LDS. There are about a dozen Yahoo Answerers that answer the bulk of the LDS related questions on Yahoo Answers.

After that there are maybe thirty three more who chip in from time to time and put their input in.

A) 21 B) 19 C) About five years, more or less.

i was active for a bout 20 years.

never once did i stop believing in doctrine.

im not active now, but i am active with my testimony.

i think bishops are called for as long as they need to be. as long as leaders have faith in their service.

some get called to higher offices with more responsibility, if they are not called for another church position.

i never knew there was a change in the age of some women missionaries. im not active

then again, i never really learned church hirearchy and policies. i only learned doctrine. church leadership sometimes confuses me. still to this day.

i know there are at least a dozen active lds on Q&A and many more that are lds that are parttimers.
