Do christians take a dim view of humanity?

It seems that many christians think that humanity as a whole is worthless without their god. Am I imagining this--or do many christians think this way?

And what must they think of the millions of people that get a long just fine without a god, not least theirs? It seems to make religion and god worship seem more of a hobby, like chess, or water polo.

If someone has truly understood the heart of God, and not all do admittedly, then they will have a very high view of all people, as created and loved by God. We are meant to be a shining light to those who don't yet know Jesus. Sorry if the believers you have met have given you a bad impression of us as a whole.



I once thought that I was getting along just fine without God, but it's a bit like being happy drinking water because you don't know about wine yet. When you live with God in your heart, life is suddenly in colour and worthwhile in a way I never knew before. I was 29 when I met God, it was a powerful experience.
