Question:
Atheists, do you realize that many from among you are now Christians?

A great many Christians used to be atheists. At some point God transformed their life. They found a relationship with God. Something they never imagined would happen with a "fictional" character. I know many of you are EX-Christians. But thats just how it works. You doubt, then disbelieve, then disobey. It's a chain reaction. Do you think thats it. Thats the end of the story? Don't be so sure. Many thought that and they were wrong. I don't suppose you claim to somehow be intellectually superior to those convert atheists? That would be extremely arrogant. Ok, so you have no reason to believe in God right now. Just don't close your mind. My advice is just to be open-minded. Thats all. Follow your heart too. I care for all of you a great deal believe it or not. God bless you my friends.

I am not an atheist, although I went off that way for a while. You are right. Some write about it too and their work can be very inspiring. C.S. Lewis and John Clayton. Look up John Clayton's website, Does God Exist, and find his conversion story because it is so moving.

Christians, do you realize that a Great many of you are Now atheists"

Reality transformed their life. They found a relationship with Truth. Something they never imagined would happen with a "fictional" character like a god. I know many of you are now EX-Christians. But thats just how it works. You doubt, then disbelieve, then find the Truth, gods are all fake. It's a chain reaction. Do you think thats it. Thats the end of the story? Don't be so sure. Many thought that and they were wrong but eventually discovered that Reality and Truth always win out over the Lies of religion. I know you claimed to somehow be intellectually superior to those atheists you hated, but Now they are your friends! Ok, so you have no More real reason to believe in God right now. Just don't close your mind the the facts that you now know just how fake religion is... My advice is just to be open-minded. Thats all. Follow your heart too. I care for all of you a great deal believe it or not.Reality keep you my friends.

A great many Christians used to be atheists. (Citation needed) At some point God transformed their life (Citation needed). They found a relationship with God (Citation needed). Something they never imagined would happen with a "fictional" character(Citation needed). I know many of you are EX-Christians. But thats just how it works. You doubt, then disbelieve, then disobey(disobey what-there isn't anything to "obey"). It's a chain reaction. Do you think thats it. Thats the end of the story?(Yep) Don't be so sure. Many thought that and they were wrong(Citation needed). I don't suppose you claim to somehow be intellectually superior to those convert atheists(What atheist converts, who are they)? That would be extremely arrogant. Ok, so you have no reason to believe in God right now(and here you and I can agree). Just don't close your mind(there's an old saying "don't be so open minded your brain falls out".). My advice is just to be open-minded(plop-splat brain). Thats all. Follow your heart too. I care for all of you a great deal believe it or not(concern trolling, from a Christian-how shocking). God bless you my friends.

Do you realize that many Christians are now atheists (such as myself for example)?

A great many Christians are now atheists. At some point they realized that "god" had little to nor importance in their life whatsoever. They realized he did not exist and was pointless to believe in or worship him/her/it. That's just how it works okay?

God isn't real and any attempts to prove otherwise have failed miserably. No matter how much people, lie, shout, or scream it doesn't hold any water. Now I know this is hard for you to understand but that is reality so deal with it. Just don't close your mind to the possibility of no god existing. Otherwise you are going to be very disappointed.

And a great many atheists used to be christians. So?

"At some point God transformed their life."

And your evidence for that would be...? oh, right, you have none. Never mind then.

Yes, some people who didn't used to believe in imaginary god-things started to believe in them, for irrational reasons, and not based on evidence. I really don't care, that's their problem.

There's still no evidence your claimed "god" thing exists, and mountains of evidence showing it doesn't exist. Other people irrationally starting to believe in it doesn't change that.

this is really NOT a question.

I've have NEVER once on this board claimed to be the crispiest chip in the bag - NOT FREAKIN ONCE!!

So don't lay the heavy on me about being arrogant....I actually find this post somewhat arrogant & insulting & offensive.

How freakin dare you try to put YOUR LITTLE PIECE OF FICTION on how I became an atheist. I never did close my mind buckcko I totally resent the implication.

All the crap other Christians fling at me about hellfire & the like rolls off me like water off a duck's back....but for some reason your cheesy I care about you nonsense & assumptions about who & what I am have made me angrier than anything I've read here in a long time.

If I followed my heart in this moment it would be right through the monitor in total rage.

Being open minded is not the same as accepting any claim without asking any questions.

Most atheists are more open minded than most theists. The atheists are willing to change their mind if someone can come up with evidence, while the theists openly claim they "know" god exists, and no one or nothing will change their mind.

Atheism is on the rise, globally. http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Global-News/2012/0815/Atheism-on-the-rise-around-the-globe

According to the poll, the following are the top ten religious countries: Ghana (96 percent of the participants that they are religious), Nigeria (93 percent), Armenia (92 percent), Fiji (92 percent), Macedonia (90 percent), Romania (89 percent), Iraq (88 percent), Kenya (88 percent), Peru (86 percent), and Brazil (85 percent). Note that these countries are among the least developed countries in the world.

False claim!

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!

I'll bet you a nickel that there are more adults among your acquaintances who are atheist, but you think are Christian than there are Christians among my acquaintances, who used to be adult atheists.

But, regardless, if I was the only atheist on Earth, the hypothetical God,. that you are imagining, would still be an unbelievable silly idea, to me.

No, I don't realise that. Are you saying that all the statistics are wrong and that whilst it looks like Christianity is dying out as more and more young people become better educated about the universe, the world, life and the history of god invention, this is in fact not the case and people are actually turning to Christianity? Why would you believe that? What would be the purpose of a worldwide conspiracy to fake statistics in this way?

I realize that, but it still doesn't make your fancy magic god exist. Just makes lots of arrogant christians.

Open-mindedness is what led me to really study Christianity and eventually realize it was entirely man-made. I'm sure you're not open-minded enough to critically examine your religion, you just want to sneer at others for closing their minds while pretending you didn't do the same.

Sure. I somehow suspect that there are even more ex-Christian atheists, though.

"That would be extremely arrogant."

"My advice is just to be open-minded."

Do you by any chance see the irony here?

The Christian proselytizing is a lie for Jesus.

Actually I do claim to be intellectually superior. If they were using their critical thinking skills they wouldn't have converted to theism.. let alone christianity.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better - it has no basis in reality, but then again neither does your belief system in general.
