mean by knowing the truth and following it, that we can free ourselves of our sins, as it says in your Bible:

“Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”

John 8:31 – New International Version (NIV)

So let us pause for a while and think about this truth, as it is stated in your Bible despite all the distortions and changes that have happened to it!

The message that was brought by the Messiah (peace be upon him) was the call to worship God, the One, the Lord of the Messiah and the Lord of the worlds:

“Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent”

John 17:3 – NIV

“A certain ruler asked him: ‘Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?’

‘Why do you call me good?’ Jesus answered. ‘No one is good – except God alone.’”

Luke 18:18-19 – NIV

“The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.

And he said to him, ‘I will give you all their authority and splendour, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.

So if you worship me, it will all be yours.’

Jesus answered, ‘It is written: “Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.”’”

Luke 4:5-8 – NIV

Believing in and worshipping Allaah alone, besides Whom there is no other god, is the greatest teaching brought by the Messiah, and it is the greatest teaching brought by all the Prophets.

You find this curious fact, that the more intense has been the religion of any period and the more profound has been the dogmatic belief, the greater has been the cruelty and the worse has been the state of affairs. In the so-called ages of faith, when men really did believe the Christian religion in all its completeness, there was the Inquisition, with its tortures; there were millions of unfortunate women burned as witches; and there was every kind of cruelty practiced upon all sorts of people in the name of religion. You find as you look around the world that every single bit of progress in humane feeling, every improvement in the criminal law, every step toward the diminution of war, every step toward the better treatment of the colored races, or every mitigation of slavery, every moral progress that there has been in the world, has been consistently opposed by the organized churches of the world. I say quite deliberately that the Christian religion, as organized in its churches, has been and still is the principal enemy of moral progress in the world.

Now, I am picking primarily on Christianity, but that was written in the 1920's. Islam very much fits in with my argument. Replace Islam with Christianity, and it's my answer to your question.

Actually John 3:16 is...The God of Abraham does have a son...

Jesus is asking the man if he understands why he is calling Jesus good? It's rhetorical...

Muhammad was not a prophet. He was a fraud. He was just a man, and an adulterous one at that. He died. he's still dead. The end. And your cherry picking of verses out of the NT doesn't change that fact.
