Question:
God does not exist. Prove it.?

Please provide me with your most definitive proof of the non-existense of God. OR explain this paradox,God created the heavens and the earth (angels and men) yet he saw it neccesary to create Satan and (in omnipotence) divinely create me (having the full knowledge that I would fail).

Anxously awaiting your intelligent reply ie.don't tell me to have faith in anything. It's time to make me a believer not just a follower.

Also, don't try and convince me that "Nothing else could do this...but a GOD." Nobody can guess what did this. To propose that your god is responsible is nothing more than faith based "begging the question." That logic will find you toe-to-toe with every other religion claiming that," all the best is us...all the rest is them."

Convince me, or convince yourself.

There is essentially "god" but not that humanoid mythological thing that was invented by ancient storytellers. The true god is nonjudgmental, nonintervening, infinite and encompasses all things -- the cosmos, in other words.

first: how dare u to talk about god like that??!! , anyway i believe in god and i'll give a proof from my religion(islam) plz read it first then reconsider it.first about a beliefand faith:

Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. In the Quran, God describes Himself:Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4).

God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent.

God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.

2nd:the proof infact i have so many proves but i don't have the time and the space so i 'll give u 1or2 and the site it self so that u might believe me!!!

the Origin of the Universe:

The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of ‘smoke’ (i.e. an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition).1 This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that ‘smoke’

The illuminating stars we see at night were, just as was the whole universe, in that ‘smoke’ material. God has said in the Quran:

Then He turned to the heaven when it was smoke... (Quran, 41:11)

Because the earth and the heavens above (the sun, the moon, stars, planets, galaxies, etc.) have been formed from this same ‘smoke,’ we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous ‘smoke,’ they formed and separated from each other. God has said in the Quran:

Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?... (Quran, 21:30)

Dr. Alfred Kroner is one of the world’s renowned geologists. He is Professor of Geology and the Chairman of the Department of Geology at the Institute of Geosciences, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany. He said: “Thinking where Muhammad came from . . . I think it is almost impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientists have only found out within the last few years, with very complicated and advanced technological methods, that this is the case.”2 (To view the RealPlayer video of this comment click here in the site ). Also he said: “Somebody who did not know something about nuclear physics fourteen hundred years ago could not, I think, be in a position to find out from his own mind, for instance, that the earth and the heavens had the same origin.”

As Iknowtruthismine said, your negative statement can not be proved or disproved.

However, your basic assumption are wrong. I can't 'prove' that either, but I do know what the Bible says.

God created the heavens and earth, that is the physical universe. When did he do that? No one knows, the Bible just says "In the beginning". (I am sorry, but the description in Genesis really sounds a lot like 'the big bang' theory.)

He did not create Satan, the perfect angel that he did create choose to try for a takeover. That angel has the same thing that we have, free will ~ the power to choose. (I know, whether freewill exists or not is another argument.)

While pro-creation and birth are absolute miracles, each and everyone of the 6 billion or so people walking around today are miraculous, we are, in fact the result of some very simple physical acts. Sperm meet egg, Egg meet sperm. Voila! texaspicker0.

Oh, I am very convinced.

I believe strongly that God exists. I can prove it logically based on proven laws of science.Just one small question. What ever matter you see around and up above in the sky, where did it come from?As per proven laws of physics matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Even the big bang theory assumes that universe came out of cosmic egg. But how did the egg come about in the first place? There is no way to explain it unless we take recourse to a supernatural power whom we call God.Are you convinced?

Depends on your definition of God. Seems easy to me to prove that the Yahweh described in the Bible doesn't exist - try prayer and see how it doesn't work, for example.

The problem is that theists constantly move the goalposts. 'God creates thunder! He must exist.' 'No, he doesn't.' 'Okay, God creates earthquakes! He must exist.' 'No, he doesn't.' 'Okay, God creates...'

Whenever science takes something from God's hands, believers just redefine God so that he still must exist. They are now entirely on the defensive and talking about 'can you explore the whole universe and prove that there is no god anywhere out there?'

A bizarre concept to say the least - okay, there is a god sitting on Jupiter. Well, what use is that to me here on Earth?

I find proof irrelevant. 'You need to have faith'.

Well, I have faith in the non-existence of God. Call it faith, call it belief, call it blind, I don't care.

I have never felt God's presence and never had a reason to believe in it. By faith, I am an atheist.

Nonetheless, I am one.

No point in denying it or hiding behind infinitesimal possibilities.

I answered a similar question the other night, though I have to say, yours was far more intelligently asked and far more respectful than the other, so I must thank you for that.

To answer the first part about the proof of the non-existance of God, you need only look in the Bible. Seriously. I read it this summer myself and found surprising evidence and contradicton within its pages that only reaffirmed my nonbelief. I don't have nearly enough time and space to make every point that I could from the passages I marked, but I can give you the same two as before that are right off the top of my head.

Let's start with Adam and Eve. Could never scientifically happen. For a species to survive, there must be a certain number of unrelated pairs. One pair cannot sustain or give birth to any species. Period. The female could not, in her lifetime, bear enough children to make enough pairs.

And if she could, the third generation would be inbred. While inbreeding may not necessarily lead to the exaggerated deformities people think of whenever they hear the word, there ARE significant problems with inbreeding, such as weakened immune systems. Since antibodies are passed from parent to offspring, if the gene pool shares all the same antibodies, the immune system cannot strengthen itself against the inevitable mutations of viruses and bacteria. It wouldn't take long for the common cold to become deadly.

This chain of thought also debunks the tale of Noah's Ark. Should Noah and his family somehow manage to exist as stated in the Bible, the same problem would be faced as it was with the tale of Adam and Eve. While you have a better chance at the numbers game with the human population of the Ark(counting Noah and his wife, plus his three sons and their wives, you have four pairs), you still have the inbreeding problem. Once Noah and his sons are all gone, then those grandchildren, were there no other humans on the planet but themselves, would have to interbreed with each other.

Again, even if it were accepted in those times, there are still the same genetic problems. It'd be even worse for the animals aboard, as there were only TWO of any given animal, one male, one female. Those animals, should they beat the numerical odds of survival, would be inbred into the third generation.

Then there's the tale of Jonah and the Whale. Or giant fish, depending on your version and take on the story. Save sperm whales, whales tend to have a big maw, but a throat that is only about a foot in width. While a whale could probably swallow something as big around as a canteloupe, they would choke on Jonah, who was obviously much larger.

And if somehow the Whale/fish managed to swallow a person, that person would certainly not survive the encounter. They would suffocate or be digested, take your pick.

As far as the paradox, I'd hate to answer your question with a question, but I have to say; "Who created God, if God created the world?" Chicken or egg time. Did God come first, or did people? Did God create himself, or what?

Paradox questions aside, perhaps God meant for us to be sinful, that "salvation" wasn't his point at all. God creates heaven and earth. God creates angels and men, including Satan(going by the fact that Satan was originally a fallen angel). God eventually creates us, even though we're going to sin and fall and, well, from a Biblical standpoint, go to hell. If God created us to sin and go to Hell, in essense, if he created us to be HUMAN, obviously, he made us this way.

God made us fallible and sinful and loved us anyway. Perhaps humanity was just an experiment to him, to create, toss in some sin and chaos, and see what we do. Like putting a mouse in a maze, to see what it'll do to find the cheese at the end. Life is the maze, humanity is the mouse, and God and/or Heaven is the cheese.

Or, from a nonbelieving, non metaphysical/spiritual standpoint, that paradox is a key to proving that the Bible was written by man, not God. Because if God was fully omnipotent and all-powerful who wanted people to live perfect, sinless lives, he would have created us that way, not made us to be fallible.

You cannot prove a negative assertion. If I said the third planet in the Alpha Proxima star system was covered with a three foot layer of French brie and told you to prove it wasn't, you would not be able to even though the assertion is ridiculous.

In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd

Quantum physics describes reality as a hologram. The existence of god is subjective, it depends on the person, whether or not they choose to believe in a god or not. The only concept of god that a person can have will be through their personal reality. The physical universe, on every level, is actually flashing in and out of existence many, many times every second. At its most fundamental level, the universe, and all of its contents, is best described as pure abstraction. i.e. the absence of being. As for me, I believe in god because of what I believe reality is; all that is, is what god would be if their was a god. God and reality/existence are the same thing to me. So, everything that I know, or don't know, everything that I can describe as part of reality, is god.

Angels in Heavan have free-will like us, and Satan chose to rebel against God with his free-will. He also convinced a third of the angels in Heaven to rebel with him;and the consequenc....They(Satan and other rebeling angels) got themselves booted out of Heavan.

You and all other inteligent life in the universe to have the choice to choose to do right or choose to do wrong. Unfortunately, starting all the way back with Adam and Eve. Humanity has chosen to sin, witch is why Jesus Had to come and die for our sins

It's real simple,Believe in Christ and His word, and you get into Heaven when it's time for us to rise and meet the King of kings. People who dont accept Christ will end up in that other place; and let me assure you, the other place be no way, shap, form, or any means is enjoyable.Only pain, angony, suffering, and torture.

So I pray you make the right choice.

God Bless :-)

Believing in god is by faith and by the grace of god.He knew you before you were born and knew that you would type this question too! When god calls on you you will know.He is the same to day as he was years and years ago.He knows who needs more proof.Like me! I was like you I wasn't sure there was a god.Until one day I was putting clothes away in my room and my tv was on in the livingroom I had it on for the noise I guess because I wasn't watching it but as I turned out of my room the tv stopped playing I looked up and in in the middle of a black screen in white bold letters it read (yournotrightwithJesus) just like that.It scared me I left the room and it started back to the tv show.( I wasn"t on drugs either never did a drug in my life)But I know it was god. When god calls for you, you will know him.I will pray god shows you away too! A good book to read is The purpose driven life by rick warren. It will help you understand. But one thing I can tell you is living for god is hard because the devil will fight you all the way.He wants you back! If the devil doesn't fight you Its because he already has you! God will always be there for you and help you through.By faith and only by faith.

Why do christians have this confrontational attitude towards atheists? Believe me you need to take care of yourself a lot. Think about what evils you have committed in the last week or even yesterday and try to rectify them rather than finding faults in others. TRY to correct yourself first before leaping onto others.

And believe me, they have more knowledge than you and they are striving for more, becausing they are seeking the truth. You haven't even tried to know about other religions out of prejudice and blindfoldedness.

O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (Our Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth in pairs.5- 22 Qur'an

this was at year 579 meens befor 1427 year!

one example :

The Bee

Allah, the Creater of the Universe, Allah has not begotten nor is

begotten, the Knower and Watcher of All.

Let's look at the Bee.

{Qur'an 16:68} "And your Lord inspired the Bee, build your

dwellings in hills, on trees, and in (human's) habitations."

The imperative "build" above is the translation of the Arabic

word "attakhithi", which is feminine form (Arabic unlike

English, differentiates between the sexes).

The feminine form is used when all of those it refers to are

female, whereas the masculine is used when a group consists

of at least 1 male.

Therefore the Koran is in fact saying "build, you female bees.."

A swarm of bees (which collect honey and build the hive), are

female only.

Thus, the phrasing of this command is in agreement with the

Fact that male bees do not partake in the construction of

the hive.

Microscopes were not invented until 1610, Galileo invented

one of the first microscopes almost a thousand years after

illiterate shepherd Prophet Muhammad.

to know about something, if its about existence (material/spiritual) 1st you should prepare your self. 2ND you should not be critical. 3rd many thing in the world in particular and in the universe in general don't need to be proved.

1. how many in the world are believers. and why they believe.

2. it is true that God does not exist because we cant see him he cant talk to us. if he could communicate and we could see him , he is not a God any more-try to grab the fact.

3. "there is reaction of every action" you cant prove that you are the son of your father and mother unless go for a DNA test. or hear from a reliable source that you are the son of those couple.

as we are talking about some the supernatural, some thing divine, spiritual it needs a lot of time and mental capacity.

YOU ASK FOR A PROOF FOR ELECTRICITY EXISTENCE BUT YOU TOLD US ALSO NOT TO USE ANY BULBS OR MOTORS ....

IS YOUR QUESTION DIFFERENT FROM THIS ...

SATAN WAS A GENIE WHO HAD FREE WILL ..

YOUR PROBLEM IS ABOUT FREE WILL .. AND IT IS VERY COMPLICATED OBJECT TO STUDY ...GOD CREATED US .. HE KNEWED WE WILL DO SINS .. OR WILL NOT BELIEVE IN HIM .. YES HE KNOWS EVERYTHING .. BUT HE GAVE US FREE WILL .. IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BELIEVE OR NOT TO BELIEVE .. SOME OF US THINKING THAT BELIEVING IS NOT A CHOICE .. BUT I THINK IT IS A CHOICE ...

GOD DO WHAT HE WANT TO DO .. HE ALSO HAS HIS OWN FREE WILL .. DO NOT FORGET THAT ...

AND FOR THAT .. EVEN THE RELIGIOSES ARE VERY AFRAIDED FROM GOD .. BECAUSE GOD HAS FREE WILL ..

HE CAN PUNISH THE GOODS .. AND PRAISE THE BADS ..

WHO CAN STOP HIM ... BUT GOD IS RIGHTIOUS ...

I am going to start with God being creator of angels and mankind. Satan was the most beautiful angel till iniquity was found in him He and another host of angels rebelled against the Lord most High. War was in heaven and Satan and his angels were kicked out of heaven down to earth. The garden of Eden. God forbade Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of good and evil God said "The day they ate thereof they would die." Satan enters, because He hates God he does his best to make her rebel against the Lord also. He tells her that it is not true, that she will not die but be like God. She ate, consequence kicked out of the garden of Eden, sin has now separated them from God as our Lord is Holy. And the wages of sin is death. So sin was spread to every generation, slavery, sodomy homosexuality all entered the world. God was so grieved with mankind He repented that He had created them. Except Noah, and his family were saved from the flood. Tomake a long story short, God sent His Son Christ Jesus who was with Him at the beginning of creation to redeem mankind from their sins. He died and took all the sins of the world upon hence His cry "My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?" our sins seperated Him from God His Father. God raised Him up the third day and now everyone who believes on Him can commune again with God our Father through Christ our Lord and Saviour. This is the great love God had towards mankind so that no one who believes will perish but have everlasting life. Blessed be His name.

Is there A God?

Consider this: An archaeologist digs deep into the desert sand and finds a piece of an old clay pot. After his investigations, this archaeologist can tell us - from this little old piece of dusty clay - so much about the civilization that existed thousands of years ago that produced it. He can tell us about the types of ovens, temperatures, and dyes that they worked with, the raw materials that they used, and thus assess the level of their artistic skill and technological ability, etc. All this from a small piece of clay lying in the desert.

• Did this archaeologist ever see the civilization that produced this pot?

• How does he know that it ever existed?

He knows because he saw that the piece of clay was produced by someone who designed it, and shaped it, and had the intelligence to be able to heat it and produce the pot, and not only that, they also had the ability to color it and make it look beautiful.

A Design needs A Designer

To the archaeologist the existence and intricacy of the piece of pottery is conclusive proof of the existence, intelligence and ability of the people who made it.

Look around you, at the beautiful sunset on a summer evening, at the moon and the stars on a cloudless night, at the water that you drink, at the trees and how they grow from tiny seeds. Think about yourself, your eyes with which you see, your ears with which you hear, your tongues with which you taste and talk, your hands and your feet, your heart and your brain. Consider how these things are so complex in themselves yet work together in such perfect harmony.

From the movement of the galaxies to the complexities of the interaction of molecules, from the dynamics of eco-systems to the intricacies of DNA, all lead to the obvious fact of the existence of the great wisdom, knowledge and power that allows our Universe to exist and function.

To any perceptive human being the existence and intricacy of creation is conclusive proof of the existence, knowledge and wisdom of the One who creates, organizes and sustains it.

Most people naturally recognize the existence of the Creator, and we find reference to the Creator in all cultures and religions. Even the atheists, communists and (disbelieving) scientists cannot avoid this reality, but avoid the term 'creator', for phrases like 'Mother Nature' and 'the amazing way nature has designed...'

How strange in the face of this, that many today reject the belief in the existence of the Creator. Perhaps this is due more to fashion and the desire to justify a materialistic attitude to life rather than real observation and comprehension of reality.

Can Creation be the Creator?

Something stranger still (and perhaps another reason for the trend to deny the Creator), are those who claim that a man, or men, who walked on the earth, breathed air, who had bodies and souls subject to the Laws of the Universe, are the Creator, or manifestations of the Self-Subsistent One.

This is of course a complete contradiction in terms. Something cannot be the Creator and created (the creation) at the same time (simultaneously), sustaining on air, food and drink and being self-sufficient, being temporary and eternal.

We were created from a drop of despised fluid, in which was a microscopic sperm, which fertilized a microscopic egg and we grew in our mother's womb in stages predetermined, over which we had no control. We came from our mother's womb, urinating and defecating, needing constant attention and care. Without food we will die, without air we will die ... and then such a one is God?

Natural instinct tells us there is a God.

Indeed any intelligent person would recognize exactly how dependent life, the universe and everything is on its Creator. Our dire need for His help makes itself plain in times of great distress.

Imagine yourself in an aeroplane and you know it is going to crash...

Or on a ship in the sea, thrown helplessly up and down by towering waves...

Who do you turn to for help then?

There has been a situation at one time or other in your life when you called upon your Creator alone, forgetting everyone and everything else, hoping, trusting, wishing that the Being you know in your heart and soul that has power and control over all things would help you. The only One you know can save you.

O creation of God, contemplate upon these verses:

«"Behold! In the creation of the Heavens and the Earth; In the alternation of the night and day, In the sailing of the ships through the Oceans for the profit of mankind, In the rain which God sends down from the skies, and the life that He therewith to an earth that is dead; In the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the Earth, In the change of the winds, and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth - Indeed these are signs for a people that are wise."» [The Qur'aan 2:164]

«"It is He who has made the sun a shining glory and the moon a light of beauty and has measured out their stages, that you might know the number of years and their reckoning. Allah did not create this but in Truth. He explains His signs in detail for people who understand. "» [The Qur'aan 10:5]

«"He has created the heavens and the earth with Truth. Far is He above having the partners that they ascribe to him. He has created mankind from a sperm drop; and behold this (same) man becomes an open disputer! And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them is warmth (warm clothing) and numerous benefits, and of them you eat."» [The Qur'aan 16:3-5]

«"Blessed be He who sent down the Criterion to His servant that it may be an admonition to all creatures. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; no son has he begotten, nor has He any partner in His dominion; It is He who created all things and gave them their due proportions. Yet they have taken besides Him gods that can create nothing but are themselves created; that have no control of hurt or good to themselves; nor do they control life nor death nor Resurrection."» [The Qur'aan 25:1-3]

«"Were they created by nothing or did they create themselves? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? No, they have no firm belief."» [The Qur'aan 52:36]

«"He it is who enables you to travel through land and sea, until, when you are in the ships and they sail with a favorable wind and you are glad about that. Then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to you from all sides and when you think that you are encircled by them, you call upon God making your faith pure for Him alone saying,’ If You deliver us from this we shall truly be grateful.' But when He delivers you, behold! You rebel in the earth wrongfully. O mankind, your rebellion against God is only against your own selves - a brief enjoyment of this worldly life, then in the end unto Us is your return We shall inform you of that which you used to do."» [The Qur'aan 10:22-23]
