You don't understand. You are using flawed human actions as an impeachment of God. If you look at Jesus, he loved everyone. Love the person, hate the sin.
The wars argument is tired and erroneous.
Religion is such a big thing because it's real. Why would anyone chose to have a responsibility to anyone but themselves if it weren't?
Notice how many people on this site don't want that responsibility? Why would anyone chose otherwise if God didn't exist?
I understand you are hurting. It is easy to blame God . . . oh, sorry, people who falsely believe in "god" for your troubles. God isn't to blame.
God does not micromanage the world, he gave us a free will -- which includes doing really bad things. He created us out of His love, with hopes that we would chose, out of free will, to love Him back.
What satisfaction would there be to create us, then force us to love him, and run our lives like marionettes?
Yes, God exists. Yes, God is all-powerful and all-knowing. He knows the hairs on your head by name. He loves you. Some day, hopefully, you will be able to separate human flaws from God Himself.
