Islam consider Jesus as a Messenger of ALLAH ,chapter 4 verse1 57 while upon the cross jesus said ELOI ELOI OR ELI ELI ,LAMA SABACHTHANI My GOD ,my GOD why have you forsaken me , so a god can't worship another God Mark 15 verse 34 ,Mathew 27 verse 46

i know you will not accept this ,this is Christianity ,they cant accept the truth

These r two different things...

Jesus is not a God for Muslims...

He was just a Messenger of God as Our prophet Muhammad pbuh was Messenger of God...

christians believe holy trinity

but 1 plus 1 plus 1 cannot be one

so we muslims have a belief

God is one and only one

Christians say God is one but they actually believe trinity n that is very illogical n when we argue

they say

it is in bible

n

u have finite minds

so we stop arguing

i say

leave Bible leave Quran for some time

n think

how can three be one!!!

Muslims love Jesus. We also love Abraham, Moses, and Noah, to name just a few other Prophets Muslims revere. May God's peace be upon all of these great messengers of God.

Muslims also love the mother of Jesus, the Virgin Mary. We believe she was a pious and noble woman chosen over all of the women of the world.

Muslims believe that Jesus was born miraculously of a virgin mother and no father. His birth is miraculous like the birth of Adam, the first human being, who was created with neither mother nor father.

Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. God is so powerful and self-sufficient that He does not need a son or any kind of partner.

In Arabic Bible the name for God is Allah. Therefore all Arab Christian call God Allah as Muslim do as well.

Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, God saved him as his enemies were confused about him. Jesus was taken up by God to Heaven.

Jesus is called Isa (pronounced Eesa) in Arabic.

Jesus performed miracles by the Will of God, like healing the blind and those with leprosy.

Jesus prayed to the same God as all Prophets and we pray to.

Jesus will return before the end of the world.

Well we believe jesus is a prophet, sent down by allah to spread the word of allah.

Jesus we believe wasn't killed on the cross but lifted to heaven before they had the chance to kill him.

In the Quran it says Jesus cannot be god because he's a human,

and humans are imperfect,

and god is perfect, therefore he cannot be a god,

gods is also self-sufficient

he is not self-sufficient

Because jesus does need to do things like eat, breath, drink.

Islam says that Jesus is a prophet. not the "greatest prophet next to prophet Muhammad" like somebody said. just a great, respected, and loved prophet. In our religion, Jesus is just a prophet and is not considered God.

Its kinda funny because i just came home from my mosque (church for muslims) and now im answering this question haha :D hoped i helped

Islam says Jesus is a Prophet, not god. (Bible: the father, the son, the holy spirit.....does that even make sense to you? I was bothered by this as a former Christian, as was my sister, as is my mother but still stays Christian, and oh yeah, no priests were able to answer questions of how with this.)

Islam does not contradict the original Bible in this respect. Jesus never said He was the son of God in the original it is vaguely referred to in the later versions, particularly by one disciple who seemed to harp on it. In Islam he is no different in status than Mohamed. Like Him he delivered the message. As to his crucifixion and death by it Quran seems to say he was spared that because God took his soul away. He will return and both the Bible and the Quran are in agreement with that part of it.

We respect and revere Jesus (peace be upon him).We consider him one of the greatest of God’s messengers to mankind. The Quran confirms his virgin birth, and a chapter of the Quran is entitled Maryam(Mary). The Quran describes the birth of Jesus as follows

<<" (Remember) when the angels said: “O

Mary, God gives you good news of a word

from Him (God), whose name is the Messiah

Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and

the Hereafter, and one of those brought near

(to God). He will speak to the people from his

cradle and as a man, and he is of the righteous.”

She said: “My Lord, how can I have a

child when no mortal has touched me?” He

said: “So (it will be). God creates what He

wills. IfHe decrees a thing, He says to it only,

‘Be!’ and it is.” (Quran, 3:45-47)">>

Jesus was born miraculously by the command of God which

had brought Adam into being without a father. God has said:

<<:The case of Jesus with God is like the case

of Adam. He created him from dust, and then

He said to him, “Be!” and he came into being>>: (Quran, 3:59)

During his prophetic mission, Jesus performedmany miracles.

God tells us that Jesus said:

<<“I have come to you with a sign from your

Lord. I make for you the shape of a bird out

of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird

by God’s permission. I heal the blind from

birth and the leper. And I bring the dead to

life by God’s permission. And I tell you what

you eat and what you store in your

houses....” (Qur’an, 3:49)>>

Hey,

I hope you're good today =)

Jesus (peace be upon him) was a man. He was a messenger of God. He had a miraculous birth, and was created like Adam, without a father, but was given a mother to care for him. Both him and his mother had their daily bread to eat. He had to eat/drink/sleep/urinate like other humans. See how God makes His signs obvious?

In the Arabic bible, God is referred to as Allah. And that's how Muslims refer to God as well. So you'll hear it very much. Allah has no gender; he is transcendent beyond comprehension and comparison.

The message of Jesus (peace be upon him) was a simple message: to pray to God alone. It was a call to God. But he never said, worship me.

Here watch this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5Hc4Ea3nTY&feature=related

he explains it a lot better than i can =)

Also consider what Jesus (peace be upon him) himself said:

James 2:19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe; and tremble!

1 Tim 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Mark 10:18 So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.

In Islam we believe that he was never curcified. God didn't make him die for the sins of the world. And salvation comes from believing in One God and All his messengers and doing good.

Jesus was never curcified for anyone's sins.

He is still alive. He never died and he was never resurrected.

God lifted him up to the heavens before any one could torture him. Instead another man's appearance was changed to look like Jesus and so the Jews thought they had actually succeeded in killing Jesus (may God be pleased with him)

He would descend to Earth again as a full grown man like he left in order to kill the Anti-Christ.

He will break the cross and Christianity would come to a stop. He'd confirm that there's only ONE God. Like the message was supposed to be from Adam to Moses to Jesus to Muhammad.

Also consider this: Jesus was clueless about Fig trees.

God knows everything. God can do anything God wills. But Jesus couldn't do anything without the will of God.

Jesus was a SERVANT of God. He was a messenger, a messiah. Many were the prophets and messengers before him too. God gave him the ability to do many great things, but that doesn't make him God/son of God.

The truth is, Jesus WAS born to Virgin Mary.

God says, "O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes in your religion and do not say about Allaah except the truth." (4/171)

The truth is:

"Behold! The angels said, 'Oh Mary! God has chosen you and purified you, chosen you above the women of all nations. Oh Mary! Worship your Lord devoutly. Prostrate yourself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down'" (3:42-43).

When God ordains a matter, He merely says, "Be" and it is so. "The similitude of Jesus before God is as that of Adam. He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be!" And he was" (3:59). In Islam, Jesus is regarded as a human prophet and messenger of God, not part of God Himself.

In Islam, Jesus was one of the mighty prophets and messengers of God Almighty, accredited with 'miracles' like 'raising the dead, curing the lapers, and giving sight to the blind', to fulfill his 'mission'.

He was, the 'son of Mary', the 'messiah Christ', a product of a 'word' from God through 'immaculate conception'.

And the Bible, though corrupted from the actual Gospel, which is nowhere to be found, does aprove of the fact that Jesus was never 'God' nor a 'part' of the 'Trinity' through some of its verses such as:

“Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know” (Acts 2 v 22 ).

“My Father is Greater than I” (John 14 - 28),

“My Father is Greater than all” (John 10-29),

“I cast out devils by the Spirit of God” (Matthew 12-28),

“I, by the finger of God, cast out devils” (Luke 11-20),

“I can of my own self do nothing; as I hear I judge, and my judgement is just, because I seek not my own will, but the Will of the Father which has sent me” (John 5-30),

and, “…. and the words you hear is not mine, but the Fathers’ which sent me” (John 14 - 24).

"Eli, ELi, Lamach Sabacthani" [God, God, why have you forsaken me?"

‘Again the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” But Jesus said, "Get away from me you satan, for it is written down, 'Worship the Lord, your God only" (Matthew 4 v 8,9)

“During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission” (Hebrews 5 v 7).

“Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, "Lord, Lord,Did we not prophecy in your name and perform many miracles and cast out demons in your name?" And I will tell them plainly, "Get away from me you evil doers, I don't know you……..”(Matthew 7 v 21).

If Jesus is and was God and Lord, why would Jesus say such words, to the very persons that called him 'God' and 'Lord' and claimed to have 'prophecised' perform 'miracles' and cast out demons' in his name????????????

Qur'an [5:116]

And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

Qur'an [4:157]

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

Qur'an [3:55]

[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.

Qur'an [5:72]

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

Qur'an [5:73]

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

Qur'an [4:171]

O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

Qur'an [61:6]

And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."

Muslims typically show respect for Jesus and consider him to be a prophet...

Christians typically call Muhammad a child molester and will show NOTHING but disrespect...

What does that tell you about Muslims and Christians?
Muhammad - Ghurabah...
2010-10-23 21:30:20 UTC
Praise be to Allaah.

One of the most important principles of belief in Allaah is to declare that Allaah is above all attributes that imply shortcomings. One of the attributes that imply shortcomings that the Muslim must reject is the notion that Allaah has a son, because that implies need and that there is a being who is like unto Him, and these are matters which Allaah is far above. Allaah says in Soorat al-Ikhlaas, which describes an attribute of the Most Merciful and is regarded as being equal in reward to reciting one-third of the Qur’aan:

“Say (O Muhammad): He is Allaah, (the) One.

Allaah-us-Samad [Allaah — the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)].

He begets not, nor was He begotten.

And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him”

[al-Ikhlaas 112:1-4 – interpretation of the meaning]

Because the Christians believe that ‘Eesa (Jesus) is the son of God – exalted be Allaah far above what they say – many verses of the Qur’aan deny this claim and refute it, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“O people of the Scripture (Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allaah aught but the truth. The Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allaah and His Word, (‘Be!’ — and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rooh) created by Him; so believe in Allaah and His Messengers. Say not: ‘Three (trinity)!’ Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allaah is (the only) One Ilaah (God), glory is to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allaah is All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs”

[al-Nisa’ 4:171]

“The Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddeeqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of Allaah and His Books]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allaah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth)”

[al-Maa’idah 5:75]

Because this false belief existed among the Christians, it was essential for those among them who entered Islam to give up these false beliefs which contradict Islam, one of which is this belief. It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever bears witness that there is no god except Allaah alone, with no partner or associate, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger and that ‘Eesa is His slave and Messenger, and His Word which He bestowed upon Maryam and a spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is real and Hell is real, Allaah will admit him to Paradise (and grant him a position therein) according to his deeds.” (al-Bukhaari, 3435; Muslim, 28). Al-Qurtubi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: From this it may be understood what the Christian must be taught to say when he becomes a Muslim. Fath al-Baari, hadeeth no. 3435.

Based on this, a person can only be regarded as a Muslim if he disavows himself of this false belief, and believes that Allaah is above all shortcomings. Whoever acknowledges the greatness of Allaah will find it easy to give up his old beliefs that are not appropriate with regard to Allaah. We ask Allaah to help us to venerate Him and appreciate how great He is.

end quote:

What the Christians claim about the Gospels stating that Jesus is the son of God and that God is his father –exalted be Allaah above having a son or a wife – does not count as any kind of proof against us, because we believe that that is something that was fabricated by human beings, and it is not part of the religion of Jesus (peace be upon him) or the religion of any other Messenger.

We believe that the Gospels that are in people’s hands today, in which the Christians believe, have been tampered with and changed, and are still being tampered with from time to time, so that there is nothing left in the form in which the Gospel was revealed from Allaah. Here we would point out that the Gospel which speaks most of the belief in the trinity and the divinity of the Messiah (peace be upon him), so that it has become a reference-point for the Christians in their arguments in support of this falsehood, is the Gospel of John. This Gospel is subject to doubts about its authorship even among some Christian scholars themselves, as is not the case with the other Gospels in which they believe. This is an ancient doubt which goes back to the second century CE according to their own history.

Professor Stadlin says: The entire Gospel of John was written by one of the students of the Alexandrian school. One sect, in the second century, rejected this Gospel and everything that was attributed to John.

Okay, I have some knowledge, but first I'll warn you not to listen to the reckless ones in here such as the Atheists cause they won't help you.

Islam respects Jesus as a messenger of God, a prophet, but not as the Messiah who came to die for their sins. But what they don't understand is that he can't just be any prophet of God because of what he said. He either has to be God's Son, and the creator God (as one with God the Father) or he's a lunatic. Hate to say that word, but it's just that there is no way he can be any ordinary prophet. No one ever spoke like him or performed miracles like him except those who are one with Jesus in ministry today such as Reinhard Bonnke & Daniel Kolenda of CfaN.

Islam only believes a little truth mixed with many lies. I know they would literally kill me if they could for saying this but the truth has to come out whether good or bad. They are like the mafia.

Islam believes and teaches that Jesus is a prophet, which makes them in deception and falsehood, They do not have salvation nor do they have the Holy Spirit leading them but the spirit of Antichrist. They are being lead astray from the truth and unless they come to Christ by the power of the Spirit of God and receive Christ as LORD and SAVIOR, they shall perish just as any sinner will without Christ.

Muslims do believe that Isa (A.S.) was sent down as a Prophet of Allah (God), but he (Jesus) is not God or Lord, nor the son of God. Muslims do not believe that Isa (A.S.), also known as Jesus by Christians and others, is dead or was ever crucified. We believe that he was raised to heaven and is there, and will descend at the appointed time, end all wars, and bring peace to the world. Like Jesus (A.S.), Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is also a Prophet and Messenger. Muhammed (P.B.U.H.) is the last Prophet, though, and there is none after him. Hence, Islam is the last religion, complete, with the Holy Qur'an as the unchanged and perfect word of God for over 1400 years, as God promised to preserve it till the last day for all of humankind, unlike sacred texts of other religions which have mulitple versions and are "revised" periodically. God, or Allah in Arabic, is Divine and Supreme Being and Creator.

What the Holy Qur'an says about Jesus:

They slew him not, nor did they crucify him but it was made dubious to them.

(Holy Qur'an, Surah Nisaa, Verse 157)

Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) himself told of the coming of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). In the Bible, Jesus (A.S.) says,

If you love me, Keep my commandments. And I will pray to the Father and He shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever.

(Bible, John 14-15/16)

But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the spirit of Truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me, and he also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

(Bible, John 15-26/27)

I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the spirit of Truth will come, he will guide you into all truth, for he shall speak not of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and he shall show it unto you.

(Bible, John 16-12/14)

Ulema (learned scholars in Islam) have said that the person who is described by Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) to come after him - in the above verse - does not comply with any other person but Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

In this case, the "comforter" he mentions is none other than Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his laws and way of life (Shariah) and Book (Holy Qur'an) are those that Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) asks his followers to abide by.

The "person" whom Jesus (A.S.) prophecised will come after him, is called Pargaleeta in the Bible . This word was deleted by interpreters and translators and changed at times to "Spirit of Truth" and at other times, to "comforter" and sometimes "Holy Spirit." The original Greek and its meaning is "one whom people praise exceedingly." The sense of the word, then, is applicable to the word Muhammad in Arabic, since Muhammad means "the praised one."

Jesus (A.S.) also says in the Bible,

... and a little while and you shall not see me; and again a little while, you shall see me because I go to the Father.

(Bible, John 16:16)

... and the Holy Qur'an says,

And surely they slew him not. But Allah (God) raised him unto Himself.

(Holy Qur'an, Surah Nisaa, Verse 157-158)

As such, Muslims believe that Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) was raised to heaven. According to Hadith, he is on the second heaven. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam=Peace be upon him) mentioned, "During the Meraj (Ascension), I met Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) on the second heaven. I found him of medium stature, reddish white. His body was so clean and clear, that it appeared as though he had just performed ghusal (ablution, cleansing of the entire body) and come." In another Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) mentioned to the Jews that, " Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) is not dead, he will most surely return to you before Qiyamat (the Day of Judgement)."

1.Islam is the only non-christian faith who believe in Jesus.

2.No muslim is a muslim if he does not believe in Jesus.

3.We muslims believe that Jesus was one of the mightiest messengers of GOD.

4.We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention.

5.We believe that he was the Messiah (christ)

6.We believe that he gave life to dead with God's permission.

7.We believe that he helped those born blind, and the lepers with God permission

Etc etc etc...

Jesus never was God, nor he claimed himself as God.

***Jesus DIRECTLY said, "I am not God!"

"And, Behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that i may have eternal life." [Matthew 19:16 from Kjv]

"And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God:.." [Matthew 16:17 from Kjv]

***Here Jesus said "DO NOT" call me "GOOD" Because "ONLY GOD" is good.

Meaning Jesus was not God! Nor he claimed himself as God. This verse is very clear and only blinds will not understand this and that why Jesus said:

"..Seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand." [Matthew 13:13]

Jesus claimed himself as Messenger of God:

"I tell you the Truth no servant is greater than his master, nor a Messenger greater that the one who sent him" [John 13:16 from Niv]

Here "Messenger" is Jesus and "The One" is God. This means Jesus directly claimed himself as "Messenger of God".

"As it is, U are determined to kill me, A Man who has told you the truth that I HEARD FROM GOD..." [John 8:40 from Niv]

***Jesus directly claimed that he heard everything from God Almighty which means he was a Messenger of God.

***Jesus always referred to himself as having been sent by God. Meaning that he was a Divine messenger. For instance:

"This is Eternal life: to know you, the only True GOD, And Jesus christ whom you have sent" [John 17:3 from Niv]

Bible have not a single verse where Jesus claimed himself as God.

"They do blaspheme who say: "Messiah (christ) Jesus was God but said Christ "O Children of israel! Worship God, My Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with GOD,- GOD will forbid him the garden(i.e Paradise), and the fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help." [Quran 5:72]

"They do blaspheme who say: God is 1 of 3 in a Trinity: for there is no god expect one GOD. If they desist not from their word of blasphemy, verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them." [Quran 5:73]

"Why turn they not to God, and seek his forgiveness? For God is Oft-forgiving, Most merciful" [Quran, 5:74]

"Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than an apostol; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother Mary was a women of Truth. They (I.e Jesus and Mary) had Both to eat their (DAILY) food. See how GOD doth make His sings clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!" [Quran, 5:75]

Why Here God says that Jesus had daily food? Because God no need any food and this is a common sense!

"Say: 'Will ye worship, besides God, something which hath no power either to harm or benefit you? But God,- He it is that heareth and knoweth all things." [Quran, 5:76]

"Say: 'O People of the Book(I.e Jews and Christians)! Exceed not in your religion the bounds of what is proper, for follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and stayed themselves from the even way." [Quran, 5:77]

"Curses were pronounced of those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses." [Quran, 5:78]

"Nor did they usually forbid one another the iniquities which they committed: evil indeed were the deeds which they did." [Quran, 5:79]

"O people of the book!(Jews and christians) Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of God aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary (no more than) an apostle of God, and his word, which he bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in God and his apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for God is one God.[Quran, 4:171]

That Jesus (Isa) was a Prophet of God and son of Mary. Jesus is mentioned the most in the Quran, 25 times. Unlike the Christian belief, Jesus never died on the cross as per the Quran.

Which version of the Bible ? First are you referring to the new testament or the Old testament Latin Vulgate Bible, this is important because there are differences in the older Greek manuscripts, subsequent Latin translations and the king James version. There is also disputes as to what constitute "majority Greek" manuscripts. And then there is the disputes with the Eastern Orthodox Church version. In any case there is quite a difference of opinion on the concept of Trinity and the notion of Divinity of Jesus. Central to all this is the authenticity of John 5:7. which is not mentioned by either Mark, Luke or Mathew.

Please find all the relevant verses of the Quran

Sahih International (2:87): And We did certainly give Moses the Torah and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, [O Children of Israel], with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed.

Sahih International (2:136): Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

Sahih International (2:253): Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the Son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit. If Allah had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allah does what He intends.

Sahih International (3:45): [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].

Sahih International (3:52): But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].

Sahih International (3:55): [Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.

Sahih International (3:59): Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.

Sahih International (3:84): Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him."

Sahih International (4:157): And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

Sahih International (4:163): Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

Sahih International (4:171): O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth.

Sahih International (5:46): And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.

Sahih International (5:78): Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.

Sahih International (5:110): [The Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic."

Sahih International (5:112): [And remember] when the disciples said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, can your Lord send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven? [Jesus] said," Fear Allah , if you should be believers."

Sahih International (5:114): Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allah , our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers."

Sahih International (5:116): And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

Sahih International (6:85): And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias - and all were of the righteous.

Sahih International (19:34): That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute.

Sahih International (33:7): And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.

Sahih International (43:63): And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me.

Sahih International (57:27): Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah. But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

Sahih International (61:6): And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."

Sahih International (61:14): O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah , as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah ?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.
