Let's say, hypothetically, the following chain of events happened in your life:

1) You place your faith in Jesus as the Bible commands
2) After years of attending Kingdom Hall meetings, you gradually come to the conclusion that the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is not God's organization
3) You thus decide you cannot be a part of the organization any more, so you leave. Never again will you return to a Kingdom Hall meeting.
4) You continue to trust in Jesus Christ as your personal savior, read your Bible, etc.

My question is: Outside the Watch Tower organization, can you still be saved from your sins? Or to put it another way, do you need Jesus PLUS the organization to survive armageddon?

The decision regarding who will be saved is not subject to human musings but only to divine justice and mercy. Yet who can deny the Apostle Peter's logic:?

(John 6:68) “Lord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life

Obviously, sitting inside a JW Kingdom Hall is not some talisman of salvation. Accurate knowledge and true worship that pleases the Almighty are required, no matter one's physical associations.

It will do a Satanist no good to be near Jehovah's Witnesses when judgement comes, so he should stop trying to please humans and stop limping upon two opinions.

(1 Kings 18:21) “How long will YOU be limping upon two different opinions? If Jehovah is the true God, go following him; but if Baal is, go following him

1) Placing faith in Jesus-----Good start, for without Jesus we would not have a hope for the future.

2) You must clarify. As One of Jehovah's Witnesses, all our beliefs are based on the Bible. They can be backed up by the Bible.

3) Not everyone believed the truths Jesus taught either.

4) Good. But if Jehovah is not in your heart, he will not recognize your actions. "Faith without works is dead". Mt 28:19,20. We are instructed to teach others God's word. And more too, is invloved. www.watchtower.org

To Answer YOUR question;

The Bible does NOT say that the "Watchtower Organization" is how you will be saved. Our beliefs are that;

1) Jehovah does have a system, an organizational structure to "preach the good news on a worldwide scale". God is a God of organization. Just like the stars of the heavens are organized. The sun rises and sets. The birds of heaven migrate in an organized way. We are formed in the belly in an organized way. We eat, sleep and funtion. We have summer, autumn, winter and spring every year. We simply are created this way. It cannout be denied how organized things are in nature. We are created in the likeness of God. God showed us through Jesus just how to preach the word in an organized way. It is written right in YOUR Bible. Congregations eventually formed etc. Today such a preaching work continues in an organized way according to Jehovah's will. Not all in that organization will survive.

Only Jehovah knows the heart. Only Jehovah can determine who his sheep are. Some Jehovah's Witnesses will die during the judgement period. Not all will survive. It also can be said that some who are not Jehovah's Witnesses will survive Armagedon. It is not for me, you or ANY man to say that only Jehovah's Witnesses will survive. It's what's in our heart and also our actions that determine what our future might be. It is not in any of our publications what you stated, so WHY do you state this? And WHY do many cheer you on. Will ignorance save you? Finding out the facts, then make an educated decision. www.watchtower.org

Ignorance will not save you.

ps. If you have ever been to our Kingdom Hall meetings why do YOU ask this question if you know that it is NOT OUR BELIEF?

Can anyone become a doctor without ever attending a college, university or Medical school? These people are not what they become to be just because they belonged to a particular educational institute. But they used the education system to gain the knowledge that would take them to their work.

The JW's use an organization to break thru the legal barriers and country boarders to get the Word of God out to the people. It's the only religion that teaches the same thing at the same time world wide!

I have a study with Jehovahs Witnesses, Mostly because alot of people around me threw family and friends go all the time, but i must say you do have some really good questions, from what i understand your points deserve very good merit, ill try to answer this as best as possible ive only studied for a year or so but heres my best crack at answering your question..... NO i do not believe that you need to pick up a watch tower to get threw armagetton. I think what will get you threw is having faith in Jesus as your personal saviour and fallowing every word of the bible as closely as you can, stick to the examples in the bible that Jesus gave us on how we need to live our lifes. Honestly i dont really care what there study guides have to say, if its not backed up in the bible i dont want to hear what it has to say, not that i havent found something backed up in my bible. and i study along with them threw the bible i was given as a child by my grandfather and its a king james... There bible isnt a differnt bible all together its just a differnt version, like the differance between king james compared to the new world translation, but thats another subject. I honestly believe that its not about what church you go to even if you dont go to church, whats going to make you threw is your relationship with Jesus and having faith in him, and reading the bible, understanding what the bible is tring to teach you and appling those guide lines to your life, to me its not about the watchtower at all its about reading the bible. If you just crack that book open and read what kind of life Jesus wants us to live and try to fallow that as close as possible then i dont see why you would have any problems at all, I totally get your message and i totally agree with you, you shouldnt have to read anything other then the bible to meet your spiritual needs, but the reason why i was amazed by the way the compile their study guides is because its all backed by the bible, no ones opinon is interjected into the material. But trust me i MADE THEM PROVE IT TO ME FIRST!! But if you are disfellowshiped and want to still have a relationship with Jesus i certinly dont see why you cant do that at all, just keep your nose in the bible and keep applying biblical principle.

Jehovah's Witnesses? Yes, that is the way they refer to themselves. It is a descriptive name, indicating that they bear witness concerning Jehovah, his Godship, and his purposes. "God," "Lord," and "Creator"—like "President," "King," and "General"—are titles and may be applied to several different personages. But "Jehovah" is a personal name and refers to the almighty God and Creator of the universe. This is shown at Psalm 83:18, according to the King James version of the Bible: "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."

The Scriptural account that Jehovah's Witnesses draw on for their name is in the 43rd chapter of Isaiah. There the world scene is viewed as a courtroom drama: The gods of the nations are invited to bring forth their witnesses to prove their claimed cases of righteousness or to hear the witnesses for Jehovah's side and acknowledge the truth. Jehovah there declares to his people: "Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour."—Isaiah 43:10, 11, American Standard Version.

Jehovah God had witnesses on earth during the thousands of years before Jesus was born. After Hebrews chapter 11 lists some of those men of faith, Hebrews 12:1 says: "So, then, because we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." Jesus said before Pontius Pilate: "For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth." He is called "the faithful and true witness." (John 18:37; Revelation 3:14) Jesus told his disciples: "You will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the most distant part of the earth."—Acts 1:8.

Hence, some 6,000,000 persons today who are telling the good news of Jehovah's Kingdom by Christ Jesus in over 230 lands feel that they properly refer to themselves as Jehovah's Witnesses.

*** I know it's kinda a long quote. but I figured if I wanted to know I should go straight to their website. It seems that in order for someone to have the kind of salvation that someone who believes as the Jehovah's Witnesses do, they must be "witnessing". Does that make sense? So I would guess that the organization is a result of people who all believe in doing the same thing in order to gain salvation. So if you are not in the organization then you are not doing what is necessary for salvation. Sound good?

Brilliant question!

You really hit the nail on the head.

Dependence on the organization is the hallmark of a cult.

A relationship with God should be enough without a man-made organization to ensure ones salvation.

Jesus died for the forgiveness of my sins - to add the necessity of a man-made beureacracy is to diminish the sacrifice of Christ.

My grandmother was a jevovah witness and she read the watchtower, but as time passed she stopped. She still went and read the bible. She didn't believe that the organization would get her into heaven. She just liked to fellowship with the other memebers.

The bible says at Acts 24:15 and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

we all get a chance

<*> anyone realized that not a single Jehovah witness answered this question.

The truth is that they do not believe that Jesus is God. They do not believe in the trinity. for them it's not Jesus plus the organization. It's the organization without Jesus.
