Prophet Muhammad swt is known to be kind and respectful and so on...
They said he never killed unless there was a reason to such as: if someone was killing a lot of people or if someone was trying to bring harm to the Muslims. I searched up What would happen if Muslims chose to leave their religion? And I found out that the prophet said that they should execute those who leave the religion. Is that why many are afraid to leave the religion Islam? And is this the same with the Christians?

To Muslims & christians or anyone actually who can answer this.?

Prophet Muhammad swt is known to be kind and respectful and so on...

~~~ Ohhhh, we're playing make believe!
Ok, continue...
They said
~~~ "They"? "They" who?

he never killed unless there was a reason to such as: if someone was killing a lot of people or if someone was trying to bring harm to the Muslims.

~~~ Every psychopath murderer has excellent reasons!
You gonna have to do better than that! This IS make believe, right?
I searched up What would happen if Muslims chose to leave their religion? And I found out that the prophet said that they should execute those who leave the religion. Is that why many are afraid to leave the religion Islam?
And is this the same with the Christians?
~~~ Look at the abuse Xtians that leave the religion receive here! And elsewhere.

A Xtian who leaves the religion in Saudi Arabia doesn't even register! One in Amerikkka is outcast, anathema, persecuted...

Islam and Xtianity both play their game with a carrot and a stick!

Both are spiritual kindergarten!

Are you sure Bro? That prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) killed people when there is a reason. I hope not. A prophet or any messenger of God comes to Earth to bring peace and Love and to forgive the enemies. A real prophet will never kill no matter what the reasons are but to reflect the good deeds for the people to learn.

The hadith where it was mentioned is not 100% reliable. In the quraan, the surah Al kafiroen gives is the one you must believe. If a hadith contradicts the quraan, then the quraan is right. A person can leave the islam whenever he wants to, and nobody is allowed to even scold or curse him for this reason. And people who leave Islam were never afraid for their lives, but of the scandal to his family. Just like my classmate. He doesn't even call himself a muslim anymore while his mother believes fully in islam.

probably...

no.

we christians change around the faiths all the time. we wont kill each other for it. for example i come from a catholic background. went through a bit of 7DA but now messianic jewish. all through that i have been a die hard trekkie (star trek is a cult religion).

i know one pastor who was born of jewish decent, raised baptist, went athiest, lived in a cave for over a year came back ot baptist & then went 7DA & is still 7DA today. oh & he's nuts about the titanic. doug batchelor...google/youtube him if you're interested. very good pastor. he stil lpreaches in baptist churches as well sometimes though not often.

the main thing of christianity is that we're all following christ...just have some dif ideas about it.

now, we do have rifts between the faiths & some are stubborn about their beliefs over another. but that gives us no reason to kill each other over it. that said, in days past catholics have killed over it unfortunately & so have a few other faiths...though it isnt as bad as islamic. if a christian leaves one faith, that religion is sorry to see them go...but there's always a chance that person will either come back or go to another faith. now at least, the various christian faiths are more tolerant of each other..a.s well we should be since god himself says in the bible that he has sheep in every fold..so i include athiests here. i know a lot of good atheist people who will most likely get the new life by default sicne they're probably living a better life here than what a christian should be living.

killing apostates is also in the Bible but it's not part of Islam

those hadiths are questionable and most are weak and in those times those who left Islam fought against Muslims so that is why there are such hadiths but if the apostates don't attack you then you can leave them alone

Apostates are not to be killed in Islam, only those who do treason can be killed

Islam is a divine Religion.

Why should anyone after recognizing Truth opt for Falsehood?

Only traitors do such acts who want to harm muslims.

Western government punish Traitors for committing small small crimes against Country.

Why should we allow Traitors against Allah to further misguide others?

Dude, this Hadith is debatable. You know why? Because it contradicts the very essence of Qur'an where there must be no compulsory on religion.

And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place. (Qur'an 18:29)

In this case, I believe in Qur'an.

End story.

Not the same with Christians. Used to be that way, but not anymore. One day, Islam will leave behind such barbarism as well (one hopes).

Hey, at least he didn't kill for no reason, ya know? Like all those people who have no reason to kill people, political or to satisfy an itch or lust, power or whatever. No reason whatsoever is somehow just wrong.
