Question:
Does the Koran have many inconsistencies?
?

I have read a debate between a believer in the Koran and a believer in the Bible. Both were able to show inconsistencies in the other's scripture. Most of the Bible's inconsistencies were explainable by careless translations, but those inconsistencies in the Koran remained unexplainable.

History or HIS STORY can't be changed even by God . What was happened can't be change , God knows the truth and the truth will set you free.

I've read both. I'm also an atheist and I believe the Bible has more inconsistencies than the Quran. I am not a Muslim sympathizer either. I am a person who wanted an unbiased, self taught view on both books. I read a lot of religion and as much as I think the religion of Islam is less of a religion and more of mass control, I think the Quran explains that, as the Bible is just non sense.

God is love, God is jealous, love is not jealous. It's the same in the Hebrew and Greek. That is far from the only inconsistency in the Bible that can't be explained away with careless translations. And being riddled with translation errors isn't a terribly great defense for holy scripture.

But to answer your question. Yes. The Qur'an has inconsistencies too. Different parts were written with different agendas in mind and it's hard to keep all of it straight, even if there is many fewer authors and it written within one lifetime.

"Most of the Bible's inconsistencies were explainable by careless translations"?

Do you HONESTLY believe that? Have you ever READ the bible, LOL?!?

Does "careless translation" explain these 449 complete contradictions in the bible?

Or these 353 scientific and historical errors?

The Qu'uran, of course, is also complete nonsense, but don't kid yourself either tome is anything more than devious myth!

All religious claims are inconsistent with the historical truth. The three main religions have desperately tried to hide the origins of their so called god. El of the Elohim, plural. Chief god out of a pantheon of lesser gods. Had two wives, one of which Jerusalem is named after. Father of Baal, and 100% pagan in origin.

in arabic form your answer is no but in the translations into english, well then maybe.

ok i have never read the quran in arabic so i cant really speak about this, but i will tell you a story that i know of.

when prophet muhammad (pbuh) was preaching the word of islam in mecca, many of the important men were starting to get annoyed with him and started getting tired of his talk (they never listened to him, they only assumed he was talking rubbish).

so what they decided to do was hire a man to counter what prophet muhammad was saying. they needed someone good so they found someone who was firstly a very good poet, he was well known for his debates and discussions and he was also one of those guys who would go and speak to neighboring tribes to try and sway their decisions.

so he went up to muhammad (pbuh) and started talking as he would usually do but then muhammad (pbuh) replied by quoting from the quran.

the man came back to the leaders of mecca crying and he said "if only you knew how much truth was in his words"

Best advise from me is , please read yourself the QURAN

every verse of QURAN has a back ground so side by side one has to read the stages of islamic movement , then only one can justify what it is and how fit and right. If one want to understand QURAN without knowing the background of its verses , he will get lost. The most popular comentary of QURAN is "TOWARDS UNDERSTANDING QURAN " published by UK ISLAMIC FOUNDATION it is very simple and very informative also.
