Question:
Are Satanic Subliminal Images and Audio recordings in the Jehovah Witness Organization Intentional?
2007-03-18 10:17:48 UTC
The last few decades, Jehovah Witnesses and Non-Witnesses, have claimed to have discovered and verified Satanic Subliminal Images and recordings in magazines, books, and embedded on cd's etc. by the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society?

Have Jehovah Witnesses made a final statement about the above, or has the issued not been addressed? Below are a few links among many on the internet which discuss this issue.

At first I thought it was possibly an infiltration within their group, but this has supposedly been discovered off and on over the years for decades. Surely, some type of solution would have been put in place to avoid this if it were not intentional. So I'd like to hear from others.

I don't put anything past this group. Many of their followers don't know, that Charles Russell who began their organization consulted with a spirit medium, and relied upon pyramidology and other occult teachings to justify his beliefs for Jehovah Witnesses, when he FIRST began this group.

In fact, Charles Russell has a pyramid over is grave to this very day as a sign of what he believed. So who knows what's going on. I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case. It doesn't sound illogical or farfetched at all. The pictures from those Awake and Watchtower magazines are definitely not pictures representing God.

The JW's responding here only know what the group of men who publish their reading materials tell them. So their comments are irrelevant and no more than opinion just like mine.

99.9% of the time it is simply a coincedence that images and thing sound and look like they are somthing else. The real point of subliminal items are to get a person to start thinking about somthing without them realizing the source. A face of a man *apearing* in the bottom of somones dress would serve no real perpose. Even if that image of somone got that person thinking about that face, what perpose would it serve. They have no real purpose. If you dredge through enough images and soundbites you may eventualy come apon somthing that seems realistic enough to make you think it may be sublimininal. But it isnt. It doesn't make people think the way they want them to, and is therefore nonexistant. People are so driven by the want to know secret things that others dont they they are willing to deny some common sence and belive things just as crazy as the belifes in the religion, or moreso even. One must take these wild things with a grain of salt, and use a bit of common sence.

There are none.

People are not naive enough these days to believe everything they see on the internet.

There are people who claim to have seen satanic images in peanut butter sandwiches - but have they?

Anyone can make accusations.

Do you realise that you're fulfilling scripture by making slanderous accusations?

This is kind of like people claiming that Prince purposefully created an obscene shadow of a penis by sitting his guitar on its resting stand, People will grasp for anything when they fail to duplicate the Christ like attitude of the witnesses.

As for claiming something like this by ex-witnesses, how do you know they are. They never say what congregation they were in and when. I was disfellowshipped from the Corning, CA Congregation in 1982. Since that time, I've been approached numerous times by people wanting me to make these same claims. They tell me that people like you will believe them without question. Or, are you one of them that has approached me asking me to do this?

I would be more concerned with the Subliminal messages given the member of the churches of Christendom. They are the ones who are discouraged to associate with members of the same religion, or others. Only the elite go to their conferences so that the general membership doesn't know what all goes on at night during the conferences. As a cab driver, I do, as I deliver and pick them up from the various bars and fancy restaurants.

Are you serious? That is the most ludicrous thing that I have ever heard! Of course the Bible warns us that people will come and ridicule everything we do, and persecute us and hate us, so thank you for helping to fulfill Biblical prophecy!

John 15: 18 & 19: "If the world hates YOU, YOU know that it has hated me before it hated YOU. 19 If YOU were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because YOU are no part of the world, but I have chosen YOU out of the world, on this account the world hates YOU."

As for the watchman.com....apostates is what they are...

2 Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no one seduce YOU in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction."

They're LEAVES. I'm so happy that even the non-Witness answerer's above me can see through these fabrications.

Please believe that there are no hidden alters, or devils, or thrones in any of our publications. The aim of these publications is simple, to teach people the truth about our loving Creator and His son.

Colossians 2:8-10

8 Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. 9 For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

Jehovah Witnesses spread false teachings which means they they are guided by an anti-christ spirit. So anything is possible. Those pictures prove satanic images are definitely in their literature. The only question is who? I don't trust any cult that teaches contrary to God's Word.

I do not claim to represent JW's, however, you're question is sensationalized.

The expresssion "have claimed" is not "have proven."

The "internet" is a questionable source.

Could you be more specific about the source?

There are those who have had a bad experience with JW's and their disappointment and anger has made them somewhat hysterical and imbalanced.

This does not mean JW's are plotting anything.

I saw and read the links, and let me tell you, im not a Jehovah witness, but that is just mere coincidence.

That has absolutely nothing to do with Satan. If you have to use your imagination so much to see only a face,? come on! Im not 5 years old anymore

Satan would like you to think so.

There have been some awesome answers from non-Witnesses who are intelligent enough to comprehend that these are all fabricated, or merely coincidence.

Interesting.

And, that doesn't sound crazy paranoid at all.

Nope.

Not at all.

Oy.

If you look hard enough, you can find "satanic" or "sacred" images in nearly anything. It's part of a human ability called "gestalt". The ability to pick out patterns in the environment. It serves us very well, usually. But there are people (conspiracy theorists and interprative mystics in particular) who seem to have overdeveloped it a bit...seeing significant "signs" or "omens" in everything.

That is pretty funny. It reminds me of when people turn in pictures to newspapers after stating they seen Jesus in a potato chip.
