On a religious note, why do ppl even bother answering questions when they have nothing but a few words of ignorance and bigotry to say?

At most a sentance, granted there is the occasional copy pasting scripture troll on the theist side.

Does anyone care? At all anyone...

You have just highlighted a "No-win" situation on here. Youngsters (it's mainly them) give sound-bite answers because that is how the media has molded them. They also use sites like this as an entertainment - a game to play. But some of us (cough cough) give serious and perhaps lengthy answers, quoting from books or the Bible. I do this a lot, not that I get thanked for my efforts.



So you have to make your mind up as to what you want - silly and ignorant quips, or profound stuff? I suspect you might be in compromise mode - three short paragraphs of a light-hearted nature, and no Bible quotes! Amm I right, or am I right?

it is the way of the troll. though I do find it funny when people quote scripture at nonbelievers as if that will have any effect at all. It's like a small child reading out of a spell but for pretend. With similar results.

They are angry at either:



people who refuse to believe in Jesus, or atheists (whom they associate with communism, abortion, and lawlessness and perversion), so they insult the unbeliever or put Bible verses in attempting to convert the asker;



people who are religious, to brag about "God is a fairytale" or rant that "Christians/Muslims are intolerant and evil".



Occasionally there are Muslim posters at Y!A who post Quranic verses, but most of them do not seem as angry or rude as the Christian or atheist posters. I have also seen a few Pagans at Y!A who leave insulting remarks, to brag about their Pagan religion or troll Christians.

wow your spelling is gaining my trust in modern man. I care very much for as being a Christian I'm taught to love those that hate God. i.e. look after His 'goats', guiding them to the true fold...
