Have older civilizations outgrown and shed their religions?

Do you think that organized religion will gradually dissolve and become a historical curiosity or will it be the decline of our civilization that eventually brings this about?

Do you have any idea how long it might take for the major religions to disappear? (i know it's only an educated guess but what is your feeling?)

And as an aside to the religious- every religion so far seems to have gradually died out. Why do you think yours won't? If you do think that.

Nope.

Case in point; the Romans obliterated the Nordics, but ended up inheriting their religion. (that's what my textbook says, lol)

The give way of the Roman Empire attributed extra the to center a while then faith did dispite what a lot of human beings have self belief. without the orginized shape of the Roman Empire in place Europe fell into chaos. no person became protecting them from barbarian hordes. technologies have been lost. homes and roads fell right into a state of disaray as they have been now no longer being repaired. it fairly is what extra approximately the ecu center a while, no longer faith dispite what maximum of individuals have self belief. additionally, no longer all religions reason hatred and violence. there are a number of faiths the human race is extra advantageous with, then without.
