this site is the USA religion census and demographic. it shows which religions are more prominent in which parts of the country. what is suprising is the size of the different churches and their over-all dispersion over the space of the USA.

compare the truths presented in the different christian religions in the USA, 98% of them are christian.

the bigger question is that if a religion, which is not a true religion, has a major influence in the country, does it cause suffering; the complementary statement is also true, if a religion is more true than another, does it bring more peace?

without analyzing these statistics in the demographic, none of the American religions have brought peace to the country, and the 98% of the population which is christian, has also created all of the suffering.

I am amazed at the cognitive disconnect which is required in order to claim any ONE religion to be the only true religion



The Believer starts with the presupposition that the world was created by a Creator which is (or was) SMART enough to think up a rather complex planet, with living things all over it

The only true faith is non at all. If you hold religious beliefs who gives you or anyone else the right to say that what you believe is right or wrong? What right have you got to say that someone who believes in something different to you is wrong? They will have the same questions so how do you know that it is not you that is wrong?

Listen to me, there are a million answers to this one question you have asked, based on the different opinions, experiences, backgrounds and mindsets of the people you ask them to. People tend to approach this answer using worldly facts like if they agree with the sane things like peace, love, grace, etc, and of a truth this is only an attempt which might not be effective enough. What am I saying? You don't need religion, you need SPIRITUALITY!! If you need a doctrine to tell you what to do, you can choose from the millions of doctrines this world has, and they will all preach something that tells you how to live your life. Let's suppose the Abrahamic religions. One teaches Love, and everything is soft as love, so, replaces Law with Faith, because it is not as hard as Torah. Islam Embraces faith, but Muslim hardlines believe in more than Noahide based Laws (which is base of Islamic Laws and very few from Quran itself, yes, they are Not about Law)refer to Quran 42:13. All Three religions say their beliefs are from Abraham. Let's compare the three so-called Abrahamic religions:

As a Christian I can say that christianity is the one-true you can find our for yourself. Jesus spoke of religions as if they were a road, and from God's point of view there are only two roads at Matthew 7:13-14, and what we should go by is not what is popular or what the viewpoint of the majority of people is, because Jesus said that the majority would be on the broad road leading to destruction. notice he even said that those calling him "Lord" would not be on the right road:
