I willingly admit, I have been tight-rope-walking the fence for a long while, and I am trying HARD to make things right. I have started doing devotionals in the mornings, but what advice can you give me to keep Him in mind ALL DAY LONG. I am anticipating that some non-believers will have a less than constructive response to this question, but it's okay, God loves them too.

It sounds like you are on the right track. We need to "hide God's word in our heart so that we don't sin against Him" We need to "pray without ceasing".

Beginning your day with devotions is an excellent way to start the day.

Find other Bible believing christians that you can fellowship with, someone with whom you can have fellowship with.

Find a good Bible believing church where you can "grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ."

Will be praying for you, and ask that you'll do the same for me.

I think you are being to hard on yourself right now. There is no way that He can totally be on your mind 100%. But that does not mean He can't be your life line, your confidont, your top advisor, and your consultant. You do need to always seek Him first, that is what He ask of us to do. Confide in Him, talk to him , Just like you would your best friend. That's when you will begin to build a close, personal and intimate relationship with Him. And always take some time out to be quiet and listen for that still small voice inside. He says, "be still and no I am God".

Stick in God's Word[1611 AV King James Holy Bible].And look at the signs of these Last Days. That does it for me every time.30 years ago there were a handful of earthquakes per month globally. Now it is over 300 per month. That is not a little change in a pattern or cycle.Galaxies are colliding into one another.Other "natural disasters" are increasing with intensity and frequency. These signs coupled with the rising New World Order herald the 2nd Coming and is a cause to rejoice, not lose heart. It also keeps one circumspect in the Lord.

Your sincere desire to commune with God is most welcome in the house of God. The Bible says to pray unceasingly. That to me is not possible unless you are a Trappist monk and it is your duty to do that as conditioning. As you go about your daily life at work or at play, you may see that which is God in creation. The more you devote yourself to God, it will become an awareness and a habit with an attitude of gratitude to our Father in Heaven. It is nice to hear that you are taking your relationship with God seriously.

The angels sing when such as you turn to God with your faith.

Do not feel guilty if you do not spend all your thoughts on God.

I don't think he expects that. Your devotions in the morning will start your day out on a good foot. Be sure to get into a habbit of thanking him every time you eat. Blessing your food will insure that all of the food will be used to it's greatest intent. Maybe you can say a prayer before you go to sleep as well. If you are Catholic, I find that if you say some Hail Marys and the Lords prayer, you will sleep better. May even be a good time to say the Rosery if you can get that far before falling asleep. i'm not Catholic but have studied the faith and practiced with the Rosery that a Bishop blessed for me.

I think service is important and this is one way to serve God and showing your Love. Jesus said if you Love me keep my words. Love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. Do all with Love and seek no reward. Speeking of sleep, Time for mine.

I'll say a prayer for you.

Think about the debt He has paid for you ...in full...

That keeps me thinking all day , on everything to how grateful I am to how wonderful He is... Sounds like you're a really smart person! And don't sweat the dead heads on here , they have nothing better to do than look foolish...when they should be busy filling in all of thier missing holes.....

Good question.....Take care.....

How can you stay faithful to something that you know, and always knew (in your heart and mind) was corrupt and wrong?

The Bible is not a holy book. It's just a book.

It has good parts and bad parts, and when it openly teaches it's bad parts as the words of God - that is when it becomes too hard to continue believing.

Listen with your heart and you will see the truth.

if you do not put the things of the world into your mind there will be less competition for your thoughts.

God wins by default, and so do you!
