It is detailed in the bible that Jesus will return for a second coming. Has the world now came to a stage where it would be right for Jesus to come again.

Why of course it is! The time has always been right! He can come down on his big pink dragon from the sky and fly around and zap all those silly atheists with his ray gun. And then all the happy smug christians get to be proven right! And you have all eternity to think about how right you were.

Oh joy, the apocalypse.

Studying both Daniel and Revelation we can see that once Israel retook it's land and sattelites are now up where the whole world can see live events all over,now Jesus can return anytime.The stage is set and it is the Holy Spirit restraining the Rapture of the Church that is keeping Anti-Christ in check.When we go up....he come out.The first 3 years they will think he is a saint ,the peacemaker of the world .After that for the next 4 years all Hell will break out on earth.

References I Thessalonians 4:14-18 ,5:9 II Thessalonians 2,Daniel 7 :23-28,Daniel 12 and of course all of Revelation.Also Zechariah 11:15-17 and 13:7-9 and all of 14.

I believe it is very soon. A new generation is rising with our teenagers and children. I believe they are getting very serious about the LORD.

1990 is said to be the year that the most abortions occurred. Therefore, those who are about 17 years old have had the greatest threat of being murdered before even being born. And this figure is also said to be greater among Christians than other religious groups. There were two times in the Bible that Satan attempted to wipe out so many babies born to the righteous. One was when Moses was born. Satan knew that he would be the one to lead the Israelites out of slavery. The second time was when Jesus was born. Satan knew then that Jesus would be the one to lead the world out of the slavery of sin.

I haven't really looked into it, but there were rumors about Yitzchak Kaduri, a great Rabbi in Israel. He claims to have met the Messiah and discovered his name. He wrote the Messiah's name by writing a phrase with each letter of the name as the first letter of each word in the phrase. He asked for it not to be opened until after he died. The name was Yehoshua, which is Jesus in Hebrew. His son says it was a forgery, but I would too if I was Jewish and found out my father had written that Jesus is the Messiah.

I believe that these and a combination of many other factors says that our LORD is coming very soon.

Well, we do have ways to communicate all over the world from where we are now. Also, doesn't the Bible say something about Israel and the world? I don't remember right off-hand, but last year they were saying something about Israel on the news. I don't know. By the way, joe_citizen person, Jesus is NOT DEAD! He was resurrected three days after He died! That's why we celebrate Easter! Think a little bit!

I don't think any of us can answer that. Honestly, if we could, do you think we'd be sitting on Yahoo!Answers. What I do believe, is that if you look close enough, you can find similarities in the prophecy and nearly every decade since mankind began. They are always predicting, because there are always wars and hate and murder, etc. going on. So they always think it's the end of the world. But I don't think it's going to happen in my lifetime. I think there is still too much good in the world for God to end it now.

I feel like there is a time coming when something will happen, but I don't think that time will come just yet. When our faith in our civilizations begin to wane we will turn to a higher power to deliver us from our troubles, and maybe then Jesus will return. We hope we get to see wonderful things in our lifetime that blow our minds, but don't forget it will still be an awful time.

According to Mathew 16:28, the end of the world, and Jesus return, was supposed come before all of his apostles died.

"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. "

All of his apostles are dead.

Thinking about the "end times" is a distraction from spreading the Gospel and a waste of time. We don't know when things are going to take place or what the details are, and there have been plenty of cults started by people who THOUGHT they knew the answers. God will take care of you if you are in Him. Stop worrying about it and go harvest.

I think it's coming pretty close. When you study into prophesy a lot of things if they are being interpretted correctly have already come to pass. I know to be very aware when the peace treaty is signed in the middle east. Then we know for sure that we have entered. However, it is very important to always be ready for Christ to come back...

According to muslim prophecies, we are yet to wait 2 person before Jesus' second advent. A person who will restore order then an ultimate evil "person" before Jesus is to come.

But that's according to hadiths (traditions) which might or might not be true.

The entire world is witnessing the decline of the earth’s environment and resources, which is a prophetic fulfillment of the Bible.

At the Fourth SEAL, ONE-FOURTH PART of the earth is to be destroyed (Re.6:7-8 below) before we move FORWARD to the next Seal events.

Re.6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

Re.6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the FOURTH PART of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the BEASTS OF THE EARTH. (Jude 1:10-12, Titus 1:12, 2 Pe.2:11-13 below).

The world is presently witnessing the events spoken of at Matthew 24:6-8 (below).

Matt.24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Matt.24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Matt.24:8 All these [are] the BEGINNING of sorrows.

Immediately after the tribulation of these days we are witnessing, the world will witness events spoken of at Matthew 24:29-32, Mark 13:24-27 and Re.6:12-17. The world will witness the events of the Sixth SEAL.

When the world faces acts of terrorism are we not facing “the beasts of the earth” (Jude 1:10-11, Titus 1:12, 2 Pe.2:11-13 below)?

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (1 Jn.3:12, Matt.13:38), and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Titus 1:12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

2 Pe. 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

2 Pe.2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2 Pe.2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

No. Though some of the Christian zealots would like to rush us right into end times.

Just read the posts in these answers. It gets worse with each generation. After reading the trash here, I can't wait for the next one.

No, although we should always remain vigilant in our faith, every generation has believed that their was the the generation to behold the Day of Ressurection.

Jesus, if he ever existed at all, has been dead for 2,000-odd years, and since either way he doesn't exist, he can't ever 'come again'
